Good morning chickettes! Posting at my regular time this morning, and since I posted so late last night due to my DSL connectivity adventures, I have no one to respond to but myself! LOL.

You ladies have a marvelous holiday weekend. Our little town bans "fireworks," which according to the oh-so-wise town fathers also includes sparklers, caps, and those little snake things that you put down on the sidewalk, light with a match, and watch expand and contort and curl into a long snake. Anybody else remember those? It's a shame that the grandbabies won't ever have the fun of pounding caps with a hammer, or making snakes, or enjoy the truly awe-inspiring experience of running their fingers through sparkler sparks and feeling how weirdly cold and prickly they are.

Ah, well, progress.

Bonnie, Have a very Happy Anniversary. Today being married this long is really a milestone when you think about all the divorce out there. Sounds like you have your head on straight with working out the food and exercise. :coffee: Good for you.
Tonight we are going to picnic in the park with the NJ Pops (orchestra) and then there will be fireworks after. I for one believe fireworks should be controlled as I've seen the aftermath in the Emergency room with blown off body parts. I say leave it to the experts.
While I'm not seeing results on the scale it looks like my belly has gone down so I guess something is happening even tho it's not as fast as I would like.
Freezer needs a new thermostat, that will be done Tuesday, a program to clear out computer has helped a bit. New thermostat for AC installed so we are cool again. So the problems are being solved. Everyone have a Happy 4th of July. Bernice

Well, geez, I am hardly advocating handing rockets to four-year-olds. Anybody who can lose a body part while playing with a sparkler under adult supervision is going to hurt themselves no matter what they do. Guess I'd better keep my reminiscences to myself.

Well weigh in was today DRUM ROOOLLLLLLLL PLEASE 1.2 down so I've lost about 10 of the 40 I gained in 7 weeks.
We are having company this weekend but I really want to stay OP and lose next week too.

Hello to every one I got a little behind with every one so hope you all are doing good .I didnt lose this week again so now the holiday and fooling around is over . back ontrack marking down and measureing and planing . I did my 3 miles walking to day and stuck to eating plan and drinking water .It is a nice day here sun is shinning I missed our fire works but I will catch JUly 4th across the river . well take care Jean

Oh I think I probably the shortest only 5'3",, used to be 1/2 added but with age I think I lost that :D
