Hello Everyone...
Its been a dreary wet weekend.. and its still that way on a Monday.. The weather man says we are to get a change in it lateron this week.. I hope so.. My tan is really fading... I hope that the sun will come out soon.. Starting Friday my hubby is on vacation for a week.. He took off the this friday and all of the following week..So we will do some things.. I am sure I wont get a chance to be on here and I will miss all of you.. I will try if I can but not knowing where we will be I dont know if its possible..
I am excited to go on some day trips to places we havent been..Like Baltimore Harbor and tour the big sailing boat of the 1700'sand so muchg to see and do...Its about 2 hours from here...and we are going to some other places too....All of this is weather permitting.. So I have my fingers :crossed: that we will be going..
I have class tonight and I have to go to the grocery store.. Did nothing all weekend.. got some movies..They were boring and watched it rain..:cry: I prob gained this weekend..All I did was eat..:lol: Bad Me.. I was so bored... I should have a plan for days like that..but I dont.. I will be getting on the scales at the gym tonight and I am prepared to :cry:...Oh well like they say.. You play..you pay..:lol: I will try harder to lose it if I have gained.. I honestly dont know I just feel like I have.. I ate some salty crunchy snacks..Potato chips and some cheetos...I know thats so bad...and Chinese Take-out Food Sunday night for dinner. I was bad.. Chicken fried rice..I love that..
Oh well back to being good...Right...:yes:

Dana... I wanted you to know that the Yahoo site is gone.. I tried to find it and its gone.. I will be sending pictues through email..to you and everyone else..
Have agreat time at the cabin.. Enjoy..Hope that Hubby's legs and feet get better.. It is so hard for poor Brett to get all of this diabetes things right.. Its hard for adults let alone kids to not eat the things they love.. real hard.. Bless his heart..
I am sure he will get it.. I am still praying for your Grandpa..God Bless him.. I hope that he can get through all of his treatments and feel better..I bet your fish tank is really nice.. and those fish will be getting bigger all the time..Have fun and safe trip..

Summer, as good as you have been you deserve an off weekend. Hey and when I talked to you earlier you did not gain, so you can do that from time to time. I have to tell you all that I will do better with posting when this move is a done deal. Thursday we are renting a truck to move his furniture and I hOPE that his house will be ready that he can sleep there that night. If not, he's with us.... LOL UGH! :stress: :lol:

I can't believe how fast the summer is going. Soon, my Elena will be heading back to school.

Hello Everyone... Sorry that I didnt get in here before now.. Been busy as always..:lol: I had bills to pay today and things to get done before we start vacation next week.. Alot going on.. Got a gig in August at the Moose for the Shrimp Feast..I was so happy when they called...I will be eating some shrimp too...Todays weather was very Humid Hot and cloudy..It finally rained this evening and its raining now.. This weather has been bad for the last few weeks...I hope it gets better by next week..I want good weather for our mini vacation.. I dont know if I mentioned that I weighed at the gym Monday night and I didnt gain.. That really shocked me. :yikes:but I was happy that I didnt..:goodscale: I will try to be good on our mini vacation but I hear Crabcake sandwiches and Thrashers FF calling my name.. :lol: :lol:...
Maybe by walking the boardwalk and its a long walk.. I can keep the pounds from coming back..:crossed:

Hubby said he would be off Starting Friday...so we already are planning to do a day trip then.. All next week I will prob be gone.. Not sure what we are doing everyday..but hopefully the weather will allow us to enjoy some day trips especially to the beach for the day..We may spend the night not sure about that either....We will see...I went to class tonight and we won our battle with managment to help our class.. I will get a Thank-you card for the lady that helped us. She is the Aquatics manager.. She was such a help and on our side..She did a fantastic job going to bat for our water class..
I was so happy. I had a really good workout and feel good for a change.. Maybe cause I know I will see Mr. Ocean real soon..:lol:...
I prob wont get in here tomorrow..got the hair appointment..and other errands to do.. I will try to get in here tomorrow night and see if any Chickies dropped by.. It sure is lonely without all of you in here..

Hi everyone..i am so happy to be home.. we had a wonderful time..the airplane was another story.. we flew thru a thunder storm and there was lighting flashing outside the windows..to say the least it was a bumpy ride and sacred me to death..i had a grip on my dh hand..and we made it..the weather was hot and sunny..my mother looked great and gets around pretty good for being 82..my sisters and i laughed till we cried..lots of remembering..the casinos sucked my money like a hoover vacume cleaner :lol: the second time we went i won 140$ in nickels :lol: it was fun to see them spitting out of the machine..music to my ears :lol: ..we went to the Blueberry festivel..a huge craft fair..over 400 booths..and food courts :?: hmmmm we wont talk about that :lol: my sisters and i enjoyed getting to know each other again..we are a crazy bunch..my dh did a "honey do" list for my mother and a friend leant us his boat and motor so we could go fishing..we brought back some fish with us..i am tanned for the first time in yrs.. there where several days were it was to hot for me..registered 100 in the sun.. iwas like a cooked noodle..i lost weight while i was gone.. dont know how much yet..but im deffinstly thinner.. all that walking and sweating :lol: have not had a chance yet to catch up on all your posts yet.. we are busy today having our septic system dug up and replaced today and the dh has me hopping:?: always something right..missed you all ((((hugs)))))) rosey:wave:

Hello whohooooooo where is everyone??? :lol: the guys are on the hunt :cb: :cb: :cb: :cb: :cb: i am still tired from my trip.. have been catching up..laundry..bills.. shopping..3fc posts..the excavating guys where here at 6am this morning grrrrrr i didnt want to get up..they are replacing the leach field in our septic system and wanted an early start..suppose to be done tonight..my dh brother is visiting from san diego so we have family outings planned.. and my dd and sil and grandkids are coming next week for a whole week..so i had better get untired :lol: :?: :lol:..all i want todo is sit on my big back side and do nothing :?: i weighed this am and lost 6#'s whils i was gone.. am not surprized and very pleased.. i start curves again on monday to unless i can come up with a good excuse :lol: my youngest dd has lost 75#'s now and she looks great..im so proud of her.. need to take lessons from my kids.. well im rambling and wondering what you are all up to.. will check in later(((((hugs)))))) rosey:wave:

We had a busy weekend and the weather was bad most of the weekend..:cry:
Hubby was off Friday and he took me out to dinner..
We went to the pool on Saturday for a few hours..That was fun.. Saw a few friends there and went out to dinner Saturday..Sunday we went to the flea market and sold afew of hubbys older Nascar cars and it started raining and we left.. I really didnt like it there..It was so humid and hot...it was in a parking lot and I had never did anything like that before and I dont think I will again.. :lol:..TOOO crowded and no where to go to the bathroom..I dont do those portable ones.. They are to Scary and smell really really bad..
We sold some of his cars and I was so glad to leave...We had a few friends there selling some of thier things and they left too..Needless to say it was a learning experierce..Hubby is off starting Monday for a weeks vacation..
We are hoping for some day trips so...I doubt I will be in here.. I will miss you all.. We hope to go to the beach and to some other places...
I sure hope the weather gets better....
Well its late and I am tired... Been doing things around here to get ready to go in the morning..I am looking forward to some beach time if only for a day...I want to see Mr. Ocean.. and walk the boardwalk...

It seems like forever since I've been able to send out an email. It has been four busy days. My Dad is moved in but still un-packing containers and finding new "homes" for the STUFF! LOL It's unreal all the stuff he has. We knew it because we packed it but it's amazing all that we "had" to keep just to show him we didn't throw it away and then he finally gives the OK to toss it! LOL Thursday night the night of the move we were not home in bed until 2:30 that following morning and been working all day even did a final clean up after the furniture was out of the house in Simpsonville. Except for today and only because my sister next door left for the beach this morning have we not spent hours over there doing stuff. It's a gorgeous home and he should really enjoy it however it does have it's disadvantages but he will adapt just like we all do in other matters. HA! Yesterday we got his kitchen set up as well as the laundry room so he can get on with life as he knows it. Still things he would like to have but nothing that he can't live without right now. I will get all that I can do by the time my sister gets home Thursday night. Too bad there is a tropical storm now headed to the beach where she is. I am hoping that it will clear out by Tuesday so they can have a relaxing time that they sure do deserve.

Well, that's all I can muster up right now. I'm still tired.

I will need to catch up later. It's just too late but I wanted to let you all know I was still here.

OK I am here. The Out Laws brought back Jasons Demon Spawn. It is amazing how much of a **** head he is. I really did not miss him at all. It has been in the 80s here and muggy. It is better than the 100s at least. I can't belive how busy we all have been. Ihave a hard time getting online when family is here. Jason just was telling me that I talk to my friend Shawn way to much and we talk about stupid stuff!:lol: I said well you talk to Jeff about stupid **** and I don't listen or get into it . He fired back with well you haven't even met her!:lol:I don't think he realises how close we women can become here online. It really upset me none the less. I feel like I can't have any friends that he isn't jealous of. I stay off the comp a lot now so he can't say you all are taking me away from stuff and I clean and cook and talk to Shawn. I can not win. I stay at home to watch after his evil brats and I feel like a hermit. So if I make a few close friends online what does it matter? I feel closer to you then most of my so called real life friends. Sorry for the rant I will be happier Thursday when the family is all gone again.:lol: I will be very happy Monday when Jason and Robert and Out Laws are all gone!:lol:

I am sorry Jason feels that way about your online friend, Shawn. My Jim found out from experience what good friends I have made online and I have met in person a few of them that I have been in touch with for YEARS! It would be like the used to be pen pals were and sometimes friendships were made with that but sometimes not. Same online. :) You would never get to meet other people from other areas if not for this or the mail system. Why just limit friendship on what you can make locally? That's important I agree but I know that with wise choices and you can establish very healthy and beneficial online friendships. Women need each other. Men are different than that. When my mother died, I don't know what I would of done without my online friends. They even called me on the phone when it happened. I needed them and they were there more so than the ones I had around me. :) :grouphug: You are not avoiding what is needed to be done at home so I would not feel bad about talking to Shawn. Sorry the return back of "Jason's Spawn" has not been good. I was hoping he would of learned what a good thing he had at home and would of been better for just a bit. What does his grandparents say about his behavior? Do they feel he is a problem?
School begins back to on August 23rd. Elena is not looking forward to going back to school and to be honest neither am I. I dread getting up so early and battleing with homework each night. Getting her started back on meds so she can concentrate and working through the problems it will present. She's had a good summer. I need to go and work some more at my Dad's. hi guys. Just a short post here while I"m cooking supper and DH will be home in about 5 minutes. We got back from cherokee yesterday and had a nice time. We went to Santa's Land amusement park and zoo. Laken rode her first roller coaster and had to ride it again. I'm having a time getting brett into school. They start next tuesday. The elem. school didn't send anything over to middle school and they didn't know they were getting a new diabetic child. The school nurse wasn't much help because she has never started a school year. She took over in march during last school year. The diabetic educator that did it for me last year is on leave of absence herself until sept. I finally found someone to talk to at the school today. He's the 6th grade guidance counselor and happens to have a lot of experience with diabetic children. I meet him on thursday and he said he would get the kinks out for me.

Well I need to finish supper and have to run logan over to my grandmas to spend the night. I will get back on here tomorrow if not before. I've missed you all.

Rosey, sometimes we need that quiet, do nothing days. I need one too. Elena starts back to school on the 23rd of this month. My Dad is moved in, we are just still unpacking and decorating. My co-designer has been away at the beach and just got home last night so I've been doing it all by my lonesome. LOL :( :shrug:

Guess what? My baby needs glasses. She had her annual eye exam yesterday and she is a little nearsighted now. I was hoping she would never have to wear them but she does and she is happy about it! LOL Oh well.. We shall see how long she keeps them on or how many times I have to ask her where her glasses are.

Morning everyone :coffee: i have been up with the early birds this am..was feeling guility for not doing any house work so got to it and now im done and it all looks so nice wish it would stay that way tho :?: so now im cooking dinner.. a casserole that i can reheat as i have no idea when every one will be here..but want to be prepared..am making a wild rice casserole..my mom sends me the rice from minnesota..so whats all your plans for this weekend??we are having such beautiful weather.. usually it raining this time of year..my roses are in bloom..all colors..my planters didnt do as well.. i think while we were gone they didnt get watered much :?: ..so i miss all of you and hope you are having a great time((((((hugs)))))) rosey:wave:

Wow I was feeling guilty for not [osting and now I feel better. We are all just so busy it seems. Thank you to all that sent me the e mails that I needed! It is 90* here as of 2 hours ago.:shrug: I live in the NW and that is not what we get here like we have been.:nono: Diet wise I am gaining like mad. I am up to over 240 now.:yikes: I am not going to sweat it to much until the kids are in school and i can start walking again or going to a gym.
Donna I am sorry Elena needs glasses. They really do have some cute ones out there. I have a kid at church, she is 18, that wears them just to look cool.:shrug: Glasses are the in thing now.

Hello Chickies.......I am back...We had a much needed rest and basically a good time..The weather however did not cooperate soooooo it rained when we went to the beach for a couple days.. I was talking to some people and they said it has rained for 2 weeks there.. off and on.... sooo we did some shopping and eating too..
I gained 5 pounds..:cry:..but off to the gym I go tonight.. I knew I would gain cause we tried alot of different places to eat..The weekend was a cloudy one here so no pool time there...but all in all we had a nice time..
I was glad to see hubby relax. He needed it very much.. We are hoping for great weather when we go to MB in Sept. I cant wait for that.. I tried to go back and read all you posts to see what everyone has been doing.. It seems that Rosie has been alone alot.. I know that everyone is busy doing thier own thing.. I hope that all you chickes can start posting cause I know how it is to be in here all alone..We are all so busy with our familys and all and its hard to get in here some days I know...but please rememeber..we all need each others support and friendship...It is so important to me to know you all are there to help me and listen and care.. We all Need that...You all have been angels :angel: to listen and care about me and my friends.. I dont know how I would have got through all thats happen in my life.... if I didnt have my Dear Wonderful YAYA friends in here...You all are the best..

Daphne... I am so sorry to read about Jason not liking your on line friend. I dont know why men have to be jeilous of things like that..I am fortunate that my hubby is not like that but my first hubby was.. so I know what you mean..but always know we all are her for you and support you in anything you do... Thank-you so much for seding your love to Buddy and Bert..They are doing good. We are hopefully having dinner with Buddy this Friday.. I am praying that he will be up to it and not have to cancel like before..and Bert is doing good. I am planning on seeing her this week too.. Its good to be home and I have alot to catch-up on around here..
I wanted you to know we took some pictures but they didnt really turn out..I was so dissapointed with that.. I hope to get a digetal camera for Christmas.. Its on my list :lol:.. Those one-time-use cameras dont do well in rainey weather....I have another one of those cameras and maybe we will take some this weekend at the pool if the weather allows..
I have to go to the grocery store and other errands to do today..I have class tonight... I am sure I will be beat afterwards :lol:

Hello Chickies...Its a beautiful day here today..Blue skys and its a little hot..but I will take it instead of rain and cloudy...I hope to go to the pool for a little while this afternoon..but I have some things to finish here first..
House cleaning and laundry..They never end..:lol: Had a good workout last night and surprisingly I wasnt that beat.. I was really surprised about that..and I dont know how I did it but the scales at the gym said I was the same as before I left.. That means I didnt gain anything.. I dont know how thats possible but I will take it :lol: My scales said different..I will take what the gym scales said.. :goodscale ..

Karaoke is very popular around here.. Every place has it.. Thats our biggest competition out in the DJ world..but we understand people love it.
I am sure you are tired. It takes awhile to adjust from vacation and when you got home you had alot to do..so I can understand you are tired.. Its good that you are getting some much needed "YOU" time.. and I know you will get back on track with your diet when you are ready...It is so hard when you get off track.. I have been there so many times myself..I am trying to get back in the swing of eating right since vacation..so I do understand..

Hi guys. I have been really busy and continue to be so. Dh will be back at work on thurs. and friday so I should be able to at least post those days. Those of you with Dh's home know how they can stick to you like glue. I didn't mind it too bad yesterday cause he helped me take kids to school and pick them up so we both know how it worked. I have to be back at Brett's school today at 3:15 which is only 4 minutes after the bell rings. That place is a mad house so I'm nervous as to how I"m going to get through there to park when all that dismissal is going on. Anyway, I will try to post later on. Dh has came in yet again.!

I'm sorry this will be so short, but wanted to tell you all I have not forgotten about you all. I have been so busy every day with life at the Dad's with unpacking and putting up pictures and so on. Then my home to keep up in my "spare" time. PLUS Elena has had enough and she's been very aggravating with wanting to EAT all the time. (She's bored) I had a friend of hers over on Monday afternoon to swim and tomorrow she will have a church friend over to try and compensate for all the time spent at her Paw Paw's helping or watching. I'm really trying. I am very tired and over-whelmed and look forward in going to the beach on Saturday for a week. I have to get away from this family street! LOL :lol: Anyway, I read that I'm not alone in the frustration dept when it comes to family matters. We do need each other and I have been so bad in keeping up with you all and I beg for your forgiveness. I really thought that at this point of things it would be easier and that I would have more time that is normal to me but it has not been the case. I'm so tired that I have been drawn into a depression whenever I come across something that was my mother's. So, you know I am tired. Need to pack yet too. Oh well. I will talk to you all soon. Hello Chickies... Its a retty nice day today..Not as good as yesterday..and I didnt get to the pool..Between phone calls and cleaning and errands..it got to late to go..Oh well maybe sometime this week or the weekend I will get there...I have to finish the cleaning and laundry.. I swear its never ending..
I have class tonight..so I have to prepare dinner before we go..so it will be ready when we get back. Sometimes thats a real pain..but there is no other way to do it..and we both need to go and exercise..It has helped us alot.
I am helping a friend with her wedding and I have somethings to do for that today..Its in September...she is so over-whelmed.The groom's has alot of family and there will be over 200 people at the recieption..It going to be a huge wedding..I told her if it was me I would elope..:lol:..she laughed..
Well..I have to get off of here....before I know it it wil be time to go to the gym...and I will not have everything done..

I am sorry that its a mad house at the school parking lot.. I guess its because there are so many more children in middle school. Atleast its like that here.. Middle school and High school parking lots are really crowded and alot of students.. I hope that you can find a way to work this out..
