It was a nice day today.. had alot of things to finish up today..
I will be really busy busy Thursday.. Alot going on.. I take my friend for a scond oppinion on her hand in the am and I have a afternoon Dr appointment to check on hubby and me.. No biggie..
I think the BD party for Buddy will be postpone for now.. He is not feeing well and he starts some sort of Chemo tomorrow with an experimental pill he has to take while getting Chemo.. Its all so scary for him..
I will be praying for him...

Sorry its so late for me getting in here and I have been so very busy today..
I took my friend to the Dr. for a second oppinion on her hand.. and I also had a Dr. appointment today.. Hubby too... check-ups and RX refills..
Everything was fine.. I was happy for that...
The day flew by...We had only 1 hour to get home after seeing the Dr. and get to the gym... I have been trying to play catch-up on emails and phone calls this evening and now its super late and I am tired..
I wanted to come in here and say hello before going to bed...

Glen... I forgot that Hank Jr had a sister named Jett.. I remember now all the stink in the newspapers about the fight over money and Hank Sr. Estate... etc... It was big fight they were having over it all...
I heard her sing along time ago..She wasnt bad from what I remember....Thats right David and Lefty are brothers and they are good friends of Moe Bandy and Joe Stampley..I like the older 70's 80's and some 90's CM singers... Some of todays country music singers are real good..... but some dont even sound Country or look it either..:lol:..

I cant believe I am the first to post today.. I am sure that eveyone is real busy..I have errands to run and things to do..I am looking at carpet cleaning machine from Bissle...I have to see different ones before I buy one..Not sure ye if I will buy... Just pricing and checking them out..
Its sunny and hot today.... I wanted to go to the pool but to much to do.
Hopefully I will get there this weekend if the weather stays nice.

It's hard to believe that just this time last week I was enjoying the beach. Last week although it was not just 'us' I felt it was a relaxing time and I give that the credit for the burst of energy most of the week. Yesterday, if this house could talk it would be journaling that it didn't know what happened to me that it never laughed so much in it's life with being tickled from a duster, vacumn cleaner and steamer. :lol: I feel like my home has been neglected for some time and it got a major blessing yesterday. Flylady would of whipped me with a wet duster if she knew it but I worked just about all day long yesterday.

I'm so glad it's Friday. Tomorrow, no waking up so early for school. I think Elena's first week in school went well and that maybe her adjustment period will be shorter than half the year like last year. :cool:

DH is off today (another reason to get all that done yesterday) and we went to the bank and talked with the loan officer about refinancing our home equity loan. I hate it but we need to do something and the guy there didn't seem to feel our situation was hopeless so I felt some better. Not wanting a mortgage again but may have to.

Looking ahead, this is my last friday to be in the low forties. LOL In one week I'm having a birthday. OH JOY! (NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) It's really no big deal but mid forties??? Can't be possible. :dizzy:

The minor league team of the Atlanta Braves team's last year in our area is this season. We may be going to a game tonight and we will take my niece and nephew whom I carpool with. It should be fun. I hate that they are moving to Mississippi. It was our town's fault though. I will miss them. Some major names started out there with the Greenville Braves and it was exciting to be a part of it.

Well, as for diet... I did have a YUMMY salmon salad at lunch with DH. He told me this morning he feels he has lost some weight. UGH! I found it for him I'm sure. Anyway, I am making my mind up what route I want to take to get back on track. I will though because now it will be easier for me to stay OP with Elena in school.

Hi everyone..here its late afternoon and my first post..whats up with that :lol: anyways as i was having coffee and getting thr dh ready togo to the cabin in walks dd ready togo shopping :lol: i hadnt even had a shower and was still in my nightie :lol: well the dh left and then i quick got ready and away i went again :lol: so now im here.. we went shopping for stamping stuff and out to lunch..had fun.. and yes summer it seems lately im very busy :lol: :?: :lol: donna i can relate to the diet thing..one thing thats helping me is i made a list of all the tips and ideas i have been reading about from magazines and ww and atkins etc..and am picking the ones that i know work for me..sorta a tailor made diet plan..what i know that really works is tho is restricted diet (whatever that may be) and exercise(and alot of it)my youngest dd who tried to have the gastric surg and couldnt becuz of finances has been doing a modified ww and lots of exercise and she has lost 82 # since january..im so proud of her and she is looking great and works really hard.. i need to take lessons from my kids :^: my point is when you are motivated it works its just getting that motivation back :?: anyways im going back to curves monday..i dont want to and have run out of excuses..i know its good for me even tho i hurt and puff like steam engine when i go..i am going back period!!!!anyways thanks for listening yall didnt mean to go off on a tangent there.. i guess my lack of will power had really bothered me..hello to the rest of our group and hope you all have agreat weekend..will check in later((((((((hugs))))))) rosey :wave:

Morning everyone..still cool here..Yayyyyyy!! i hate the heat..have been blessing the house this am..and finishing up on my canning..i pressure can meats etc for the dh to take to the cabin as there is no refrigeration out there..just the ice he brings and that doesnt last long..i even can hot dogs beleave it or not..browned hamburger, stew meat, and chicken..it works out well but a long process..i was up with the birds again..now im wired on to much coffee :coffee: :lol: ..have been working on my cards and using all my new e-bay stamps..tomorrow is "D" day.. back to curves..i know ..ive run out of excuses :?: ..tonight its bingo night.. hope i have as good a nite as i did last week..came home with 350$ :D ..(((((((hugs)))))) to all my absent friends :lol: the guys are hunting for you :cb: :cb: :cb: :cb: :cb: rosey :wave:

I know Dana sells her way to cheap but a lady I know was selling a 4 pack for 10 dollars and they were not super cute. Sorry that I didnt get a chance to post this weekend at all.. It seems that the weekends are real busy right now..I know that when the summer is over and that cold breeze starts-up and I am crying about its toooo cold.. I can post more on the weekends cause I hibernate like an old fat bear...:lol:

I am gearing up for MB on the 11th..I cant wait...Lots to do before I go..

I put together at the speed of light a Surprise BD party for Buddy on Saturday..Whewwwwww that was something else..:lol:
I had alot of phone calls and running to get it done Friday..but I it came off and he was a very happy person.. To see that smile back on his face really made my day..
He was feeling good for a change so I took full advantage of it.. He was puffed-up from all the chemo and this new pill he is taking but....all in all.... he was feeling pretty good..That was such a blessing...I was happy to see him so surprised cause his actual BD is in Sept..so he was really surprised..
It was great..

Well I have to get off from here.. I have a meatloaf in the oven and a bathroom to finish cleaning along with vac the house..
