Hello Everyone... I have been busy today...Getting ready for the little party we are having at the pool this weekend... I will miss the pool when its closed..as I do every year at closing time..Hey.. That sounds like a country song...:lol:..I went to afew stores this evening and got somethings to take to the beach..I am so excited about going..but I heard that yet another storm is brewing for next week...I sure hope it blows away..Its scary enough for those poor people in FLA..The hurricane is suppose to hit there..I feel for them..and they said to watch the Carolina's as hurricane Frances could hit there too...I wish it would all go away...But you cant stop Mother Nature...

Rosey....I did talk to Donna and I agree that she needs to do whats best for her and no one did anything to make her leave.. I will miss her and she knows I wish her all the best.. Iwas so glad to find out that I didnt hurt or upset her in anyway.. That was such a relief to me.....as I would Never want to do that to her or anyone else in here..or anywhere else..
She knows she will aways be welcome here anytime.....
Yes its true Rosey.....You are right.... we need each others support and caring... It helps to get through the rough days when you think I can never do this.. I admire you so very much for going to Curves when it hurts and getting back on track eating wise.. It so very hard and you are doing it...YOU GO GIRL... That inspires me to just "DO IT" as you say.. As I said before I will try my best to get here everyday..Its important for me to do that... Summer have fun at that party. I miss having my ex inlaws pool to swim in. I would be in it with my Angelbaby every day in the summer. I hope that you have such a fun time and party hardy! Wow look how far this year has taken you and that dear man of yours? I remember how sad you were last summer missing the pool time and the visiting. Jason is still gone and has been since Monday. I think it was Monday?:shrug: He hasn't decided if he is coming home this week or not. He went to check out a hunting ground with a friend. He was going to do yard work for a lady Sunday and then just start his week on Monday even though it is a Holiday and the kids will be in school Wednesday. I hate him being gone this long. Grrrrrrrrr. OK Saturday is the start of our Churchs missions week. It is a "concert" Well to me it is the same people singing with the missions added in. Sunday starts the offficial missions week. My problem is Monday the revival starts at 7 and will go till 9 or so. My kids are starting school that week. Megan will have to be up at 6:30 being as she catches the but at 7:15. I can not do that to her. So once again i will be the bad person not being there. I don't think they understand how hard it would be on Megan and me. Robert also will be getting up at the same time or maybe at 7 he catches bus at 8:10. My kids during school are in bed by 8. So now I get to feel guilty for not being there for revival. We also have WINGS once a month. If Jason is gone Sunday I can't go. There is no way that I can bring Megan and Robert. Our one lady my former friend is the WINGS President. "Bonnie" for some reason every time she has Devotions I end up feling depressed. It is the same thing with her husbands preaching. I totally tune him out and will write notes, balance check book anything. Bonnie told me before when i tried to tell her I was hurt that she never had time for me at al, that I had pulled away from Church and was not going as faithfully as before. So i took it if i am not there all the time she sees me as a bad Christian. Her and her hubby have already said that *we are not to be friends with non Christians* Sorry but I don't agree with that at all. I also don't belive that is a very *Christian* attitude. I have been hating going to Church and I used to love it. I guess I am sick of the pot calling the kettle black. I live in a small town where gossip is the favorite thing going.:lol:I have heard some horrible stuff about some members of the Church in their past. Yet I still love them all and defend them. OK I am rambling I just needed to vent sorry.

:lol: Rosey I am so lame I didn't think it got to be that warm there! We had I think 4 or 5 days that broke the 100s. a bunch of days in the 90s, most in the 80s.
Oh thank God the kids go back to school on Wednesday. I have never been this easily irritated and sick of them. I will hate having to get up at 6:30 to get Megan ready but I can take naps each day after my walk if I want to! I sitll do nt shee why she is being picked up at 7:15 if her school does not start until 7:45. Her bus ride is like 10 minutes. I gues they will have to entertain her and not me!!!

Its late and I am so sorry that I havent been in here sooner.
We had company most of the holiday weekend.. It was fun..
The weather wasnt that great..but the rain held-off untill this evening and then it wasnt that much..so....all in all....the weekend was real nice..
We are suppose to have rain sometime this week from the hurricane..
Those poor people in Fla have been through so very much..
Its such ashame to see all the devastaion they have been through..
I hope its out of here before Friday.. We are leaving for MB then..and I dont want to drive the major highways in a bad rain..
I am sure some of you are getting geared-up for school starting back up.
I went to the store tonight and there were so many people shopping for school supplies and things to make lunches....it was really busy..
Well another pool seasons had come to an end and I will miss it.. :(
I had fun this year and have had so much to be thankful for..
I am happy that my hubby is alright and things are great...
That is a true blessing. :)

I was really good food wise..There were alot ot fattening snacks and I didnt eat them.. I brought my own.. Veggie tray....etc..
The food was good.. Steaks and chicken on the grill and baked pots and salad. Lots of desserts and ice cream... It was really nice..

We both are doing great and are very blessed and thankful to the Good Lord above that things worked out so well and we are fine. Yes.... you are so right about how things are so different from last year. Time really flies..
I am looking forward to leaving for the beach Friday...I took hubby last year and he felt so bad..He was determined to go and when i got him there is didnt feel good ans was so tired..we really didnt do anything...
This year is his year... He is so excited about going and us doing the things we could not do last year.. While I am gone to MB I will miss you and everyone in here..but I will happy to be HOME... Thats what I call MB..I love it there and I cant wait for the day to move there.....When I get there I dont want to leave..It sounds like you could use a vacation yourself... I really admire you taking a stand on being a true christian.. I found out that the missions week starts at 6 and not 7. So that is better for the most part. It is still hard on Megan taking her out each night and getting home late. Robert will be home at 3:45 Megan around 3. I would have to feed them dinner, get homework done, etc... I was called and asked if I could do nuresry one night. I agreed to Thursday night. I hope to be able to make it to Wednesday service as well. If Jason was home it would be easier but he isn't. There is also no seperate service for the kids so it will not be relaxing or enjoyable for me with Robert and his mouth and attitude. Megan will have to go upstairs to the nursery. Oh Summer I love to discuss religious beliefs. I would love to study the different religions and their beliefs etc. Right now I am addicted to the show Amish in the City. The Amish religion is just so fasinating to me. The Amish kids cuss and drink and the girls became hoochie mamas when they changed from Amish clothing to city clothing. One of the Amish boys was talking about Amish bars. I guess I am lost as to why Amish forbid somethings and yet have alcohol?

Hi there things are going fine for me today. The kids go back to school tomorrow! I called my Aunt Shelley and she asked if I was having my "surprise" 40th Birthday still.:lol: OK so I am planning my own 40th party.I want a party and that is all there is to it.
Bad news now.... I really am worried about Dana. I tried to call her today and the number has been changed. She has not posted on the other page that we post on either. Hello Everyone...Its been a busy day for me... I did errands and laundry...
I got some new luggage from Target and now I have to take it back.. The smell of what-ever they treat the luggage with is awful and to over-powerning and I was afraid it will make our clothes smell like that.. So its back to the store tomorrow...Oh well...I will make do with our old ones..This was such a great buy..a 5 piece luggage set. The kind with wheels and ajustable handels..all of that for 40 dollars..maybe now I see why it was on sale..When I got it to the car..the smell was so awfull...I thought well its new and it will go away shortly.. It gave me a headache...so tomorrow back it goes... I will look to see if somewhere else has that kind of luggage on sale..
I have more things to finish tomorrow and I can hardly wait to leave for MB...I am keeping an eye on that other storm brewing out in the ocean..
I pray it goes away..No one needs anymore divistation and destruction...

The only reason I said I dont like to discuss religion is because alot of people get offended about things and I am not saying you do Sweetie. I mean in general so I dont ever want to offend anyone..Some people think thier religion is the only one and so forth.. I believe that if person believes in God and tries to treat others right..that the Good Lord knows that...Thats all that matters...I have seen a few programs about the Amish.. but not the one you mentioned.. I had to laugh about the hoochie Mamas :lol:
I went to Redding, Pa once on a bus trip with other friends to the factory outlet stores there and the Amish people lived there in that town.. They were nice people and were very hard working.. I noticed that they had no modern things in thier homes.. No electric no phone cars etc..They loved the simple life...They all dressed alike and so forth..
As I remember I think that thier religion says they must live that way...but I am not sure about that. I didnt know that they let the kids drink?? I thought they really didnt do anything like that...not that drinking is bad..unless it rules someones life and they are addicted to it..or something like that...Then its bad...or kids drinking.. thats not good either...
I have been told that in some religions they do not believe in drinking at all or wearing make-up or cutting a womans hair and so on.. I dont know if all these things are true..but if a person wants to believe in them..and it makes them happy to do so..then thats alright with me.... I try not to judge someones religious beliefs..If they are happy... I am happy... I thought the Amish people were very kind.. I had a very nice time there...I watched them drive the horse drawn buggys..and I ate in one of thier restuarants..
I guess in todays world that the Amish kids have a hard time with all that..
I can understand...and like Rosey said about the program she watched maybe its to show them the diffference..and let them decide what they want. Anyway..I had a nice time there.. One day I hope to go back...

Hi everyone. I forwarded the e mail I got from Dana. She is having a heck of a time. If you didn't get the e mail then let me know and I will send it to you. She is basically suffering from Hurricain Francis, is being diagnosed with possible thyroid problems and diabetes. She is also working on a new birth control pill.
I am on my 3rd bottle of water today. I had Garden Burger foods for breakfast and lunch. I also just had a Special K blueberry bar for a snack. I weighed in today at a whopping 243.:nono: I refuse to see that number again. I am cleaning out my freezer of all the frozen diet foods I have.:lol:OK I am to lazy to make me food and the kids a different food!
Summer have a fantastic time if we dont hear from you sooner!

Hey everyone i am here :lol: finally..i applogize as i was busy this am.. had to get the dh ready again for the cabin and then rushed off to curves..but im here now.. thanks daphnee for letting us know about dana..she has her hands full right now..anyways now we know ..so you like frozen diet meals too :lol: i use them alot when im here alone..summer i know you are leaving tomorrow and i hope you and your dh have the best time and good weather..enjoy the sunrises and sunsets for me too..stay safe.. how long are you going to be gone??kris thanks for popping in and letting us know you are still with us..hope the busy-ness in your life slows down..mr ken..has fall arrived in your neck of the woods..are you still going to ww??dana.. you poor thing.. am so sorry that you got flooded..hope the dr diagnoses you right.. as you know with your son diabetes is an awful thing to have..(((((((hugs)))))) for you and hope things calm down and get back to normal..well i got weighed and measured at curves today..i hadnt had that happen since before vacation..i gained 3 #s.. since then but have lost 9 1/2 inches so thats a good thing..i knew i had gained as i didnt follow any diet for awhile and just started being careful again last monday..so i must have gained more than that even :?: but im working hard to get back on track.. ive been researching and found that i must be a carb sensitive person.. so am trying to restrict carbs to between 30-60 gr aday..also coffee and caffeine drinks make you produce more insulin and causes spikes in sugar levels..and i love my coffee :?: so will switch to decaf..so all these little hints should get me going in the direction i want to go..have agreat day everyone ((((((hugs)))))) rosey:wave:
