Flyby...I'll write later today but for now it's CRAZY at work - we have a schmoozing open house (uh, I mean "networking") tonight and I'm in a tidying frenzy.
Love you all and glad to be back,

I really need to get to the market and stock up on fresh fruit and veg. Oh, and the garden has started to produce some things: yellow squash, zucchini, and brocolli!
I have tomotoes in, which are flowering, and peppers...and that's all folks!
s of the realm!
And, Man! Just look at your sig! You've done amazingly! I'm in awe, truly.
Punkin O' Friday -- Happy day! I had to laugh at your description of how you dress for the weather. Sounds so much like me! I was always one of those kids that was going without hat, jacket, etc. Still am. However, I sometimes get cold and DH just rolls his eyes.

Punkin o' Friday)
Our company open-house was last night - lots of salmon and white wine and small talk, and then I stayed until the caterers were done cleaning up. I feel cheated, somehow. I think if I have to feel this sh*tty I should have done something fun to deserve it, like staying up and tying one on. The good thing about the open house (besides meeting this wonderful 77-year-old lady who bungee-jumped 300 feet on her 65th birthday) is that my co-workers are really great once they've had a beer or two, so the company was good.
Good for you, my dear. Your earrings sound great - I love silver so much; I have trouble making myself wear gold ever. I love amber, too. I'll check out that link this weekend, honey. I am a real SF/Fantasy fan, I think. Well, I don't do the comics and stuff, and I've stopped reading the gagillion Star Wars/Star Trek novels, but...I still lovedlovedloved "The Chronicles of Riddick" - what could be better than a melodramatic Sci-Fi with the gorgeous Vin Diesel? *sigh* Darling, I haven't had the courage to get on a scale in quite a while. Who knows if I lost anything. Maybe I should get mono. OK, just kidding. Not funny.

Poor thing. Hope she survives.
I hope you stay cool and comfortable this summer, poor thing. The humidity used to just kill me when I used to live back East.
Lucky me! You know, I heard from that lady at the party (I'm not implying that you're anywhere near her age, by the way) that bungee jumping isn't hard at all on your joints. Gonna give it a try?
Aaah, you've probably already done it...

... not sure about that ... here's the story of my day yesterday:

s who are still on the straight and narrow). With the Summer season officially arriving, perhaps it's time for a convening of the Royal Court for an official pronouncement of rededication to our Majestic Goals of Health, Happiness and Harvesting the rewards of steadfastness. I'm sure the loyal Towel Boys could manage to have the castle in readiness in record time.
