Okay, since Memorial Day is the end of this challenge, and by coincidence it's my birthday, I will make a goal of losing 5 lbs. by then. I would love to get back down to 130 as a birthday present!

Shelley: You go girl!!! It will be a wonderful birthday treat to yourself to lose those 5lbs and I have no doubt that you can and WILL do it!!!
My goal will be to lose 6 lbs. That is only 1 lb a week so it is definately doable!!! Hoping for more, but counting on 6!!! Lets go!!! I will be back later to post my meals |
Monday
Breakfast-Coffee-2 Lunch-Celery, Carrots, Banana-2 Dinner-2 chicken legs w/o skin, 2 sm. corn on cob, broccoli, salad with ff dressing, ff cheese-12 Snacks-popsicles,fudgsicles,ff cool whip-7 Total for day=23 |
I took a yogurt to work to eat around 10:00 but someone had brought lemon bars to work and I couldn't resist. So...
1 1/2 lemon bars - 250 cal lean cusine lunch - 200 cal white chocolate peanut butter cup - I should never go to Walmart's after work while hungry - 230 cal pasta,chicken, broccoli, carrot meal - 310 cal handful of popcorn - 50 cal popcicle - 60 cal Total 1100 calories I didn't make the best choices, but I did keep it under 1200 calories |
Carol-Is all that matters is you didn't pig out! You stopped with just 1 piece of chocolate! I'm proud of you!! I'll post my menu tonight. I've been OP for 1 day!!!

Had my parents over for my dad's birthday tonight. Did good but went over a couple of points:

I don't even want to talk about it... Did good for breakfast, bad and lunch and it got worse for supper!! :devil:

Carol-Did you get through the day OP? Remember even small steps help! You can do it. Just take it one meal at a time!

I have been so bad about not posting my menus this week. But good news is....I have stayed within my WW points this week!! :cp:
Hopefully I'll be better and start posting them again next week. Ya'll are doing good!! Keep up the great job!! :) |

For all of you WW...I made this pie last night and it's sooo good!!! And EASY!!! I'm not really sure how many WW points but it couldn't be much. 1 small box SF jello (I used Strawberry Banana) Disolve in 1/4 C. boiling Water Add: 2 regular size Dannon yogart (I used Strawberry)...Mix well & add 1 small tub of Lite or FF coolwhip Pour into Fat Reduced Graham Cracker Pie Crust and Ref. until chilled and set. Yummy!!!!! :hun: |
Sherry-My mom makes that recipe all the time. It's also delish with lime jello.

Hey that recipe sounds great Sherry. I will have to try it. You two are doing great staying OP. I am starting again. I think I used up all my willpower last year and now I can't find it again!!!
I will come back tonight and let you know how I did. BTW I posted on the exercise site, but lost it. That happened to me last night too so Shelley you aren't the only one having problems with this site. Have a great OP day!!! |

I found this and thought it might be helpful.
Portion Sizes: Three ounces of meat is the size of a deck of cards. Three ounces of grilled fish is the size of your checkbook. One ounce of cheese is the size of four dice. One teaspoon of peanut butter equals the tip of your thumb. A cup of fruit is the size of a baseball. A medium apple or orange is the size of a tennis ball. A medium potato is the size of a computer mouse. An average bagel is the size of a hockey puck. To make sure you don't overeat, start with one serving at meals, eat slowly, and go back for seconds only if you are still hungry. Remember, it takes about 20 minutes for your stomach to signal your brain that it's full. |
