Hey everyone! I'm so proud of all of us for starting April the way we have!!! I've been thinking about going to the local college and buying a "semester pass" to their exercise facilities just so I can use the POOL!! Sherry, you're making me want to even more!
Anyway, here's what I've walked so far this month: April 1: 3 miles April 2: 2.5 miles April 3: --- :( April 4: 3 miles April 5: 3 miles Cheryl 11.5/48.5 :) |
Sherry and Debbie are you prunes yet? Working out in the water is fun. I always tell Larry it is our date to dance together. We have great dance music.
Debbie working out in the water is better for my back than the gym. I can only swim, walk and do aquafit. Oh yes and bike for 10 minutes at a time. 12/47 |

Hey everyone! Thanks for the encouragement--it really helps! Last night I walked 4.5 miles, then did a "light" ab workout. I felt so good, I think I actually got a "runner's high" while I was walking--I felt like I could go on forever!

Sherry and Debbie-Have I told you 2 how proud I am of keeping up with your exercise programs? You're both doing fantastic. Dee-I hope your walking is helping your back. I'm not running today. We are off Friday and Monday, so I'll put some mileage on Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon. |
My back has been really sore the last few days I just can't do much.

Shelley--hope you enjoy your long week-end! Sounds like you could wear out a pair of shoes! Dee--I hate that your back is hurting you. I sure hope you get some relief soon. Be careful when you do exercise not to hurt yourself. Sherry--I'm still jealous of you and your water aerobics. Hope you keep enjoying it. You know, things look bigger underwater....... :lol: I walked 3 miles last night and did a class called Bodypump (light weight-lifting, squats, lunges, pushups, etc.). Cheryl 19/41 |

Cheryl you are doing really great. The miles you are doing per day is high. Did you use to exercise before you started posting here? Cheeers to you. Sherry I can't help but laugh as I think about you doing aqua fit. I say I wold have been really embarrassed if I was you and I would be but that doesn't make sense for me does it? I am the one that can sunbath topless without a problem! Weird! |
Dee--I go through spurts where I walk religiously, then just quit--cold turky. I joined a gym last month, to help fight the homesickness I've been feeling since starting my new job. I love the gym, and paying $45/month goes a long way toward encouraging me to go every day. The treadmill is my friend--a true "no excuse" walk.

I've been walking and walking and walking, but I've lost no pounds yet.....My trainer (I got 4 free sessions when I joined the gym) is going to take my measurements again on Monday to see if I've lost any inches. I have to tell ya, if there's no progress there I'm gonna be REEEEAAAAALLLLLYYYYY disappointed! Cheryl April 8: 5 miles :) 24/36 |
