I agree about the MBFOF, first they were upset, but money changes things quickly. I do have to say that Randi handled it all better then I probably would of when Steve first started to fess up. At that time, she didn't realize he was an actor and didn't seem to be upset with him for blowing things.

And Sherry, I still love my new school! :D I am taking the test to be certified as a library/media specialist next Saturday because I'd like to take over the school library at my school (and most of the teachers would like me to, as well, because our current librarian hasn't done the greatest job this year.)

Today has been just wonderful. I spend the day with my daughter, we went out to lunch and did other girl stuff. Tonight everyone was here, I just sat back {with a glass of wine} and let everyone else take care of dinner. I got lots of nice gifts, only one shocker though. My son in law brought me flowers, I almost fell out...LOL. Guess you never get too old to be shocked!!

Sherry....Looking forward to this weekend and celebrating my birthday all over again...LOL. My favorites won on AI too. Do you have you fingers :crossed: crossed for tonight?? Could be our last chance this winter!!

Gayle- I was also rooting for Amy and Latoya. I think Latoya has a great voice. And I thought it was strange how Randi's families attitudes changed so fast. First her dad said it was not about the money and then he was smiling and all is OK. Guess $500,000 would change my mind too.

Jenelle- Good luck on the test. What is it with librarians? The one at our school is not very helpful either and like Sherry said about hers i don't think she like kids or most adults either.

I had an eye dr appt yesterday. YUCK!! It had been too long since I checked in. I have known I have cataracts in both eyes since I was about 20. He said I was probably born with them. I never have had vision problems until lately. I have to get glasses and he said i would probably have to have my cataracts removed in my mid 30's. I am already 32 so I guess I need to start preparing myself. I spent the day yesterday finding things to sell on Ebay. I'm saving my Paypal money to buy my glasses. I figure they will probably cost around $300. Does that sound right?

Tina that sucks about having to have surgery and get glasses. I think that the price of glasses depends on the strenght of your perscription and of course what type of frames you want. My kids both wear glasses and they are between $300 to $500 each. Both of there lenses are thinned so they won't be too heavy. It costs more for that but if they didn't get it done they would be to heavy and they would look like coke bottle lenses.

Sherry how can you not drink coffee??? It is my favorite beverage besides water and beer....lol That is the only things I drink besides tea. But I would share any drink with you as long as I could meet you.

Tina-PM me your ebay ID so I can see if you have any goodies that I might want to spend my Paypal money on! I'm looking for a treadmill and am always checking out the handbags. You can probably go to Walmart and get a pair of glasses for around $200.00. I think mine were even less than that.

Jennelle-One of my best friends is the Media Specialist at the school where I work. She is wonderful. She does FAME projects, facilitates the Odyssey of the Mind program, does the Sunshine State readers and Rex club. She is one of the few Media Specialists in our District that doesn't just check out books and do classes. Good luck on your exam. I'm sure you would make a wonderful Media Specialist also.

Shelley - THAT'S the kind of librarian I aspire to be! I'm hoping to start a tournament Scrabble team and a National Spelling Bee study club, plus get celebrity guest readers every month and have fun book activities on a regular basis. The whole idea is to get kids to learn to love books as much as I did when I was a kid.

Tina - I don't think I've ever paid more than $100 for a pair of glasses. I agree with Shelley - Wal-Mart usually has attractive frames at reasonable prices.

Tina, if you can find a doctor to write out your prescripion, then yes, Walmart is the way to go! Going to my old doc, I use to pay $300.00 or so. My last set of glasses from walmart was under $100.00. Of course, my exam was $80.00. Do you have vision on your insurance?

Dee, the weather is gorgeous here for this time of the year! Yep, coffee is my second favorite drink, first is diet soda. Wine and beer fit in there too!

Sherry, so you've never drank even a sip of coffee? How about Wayne? Steve and I go through a pot every morning. Sometimes over the weekend, we drink two pots in the morning.

Well, I had my oldest student today! 82 years old! She really did well, other then I need to schedule another 30 minutes on to allow getting her up the walkway, steps etc. Her daughter is taking the class also.

Gayle I think that I will come over for the weekend and we will drink 3 pots of coffee with Steve. The only thing is I find most american coffee is weak. I like strong dark roast. Well if the coffee isn't good enough we could always drink beer.....oh yeah that is right your beer is weak too. Well I will bring the beer.....sorry Vicki we aren't going to behave.....if we did I would be afraid we wouldn't have a good weekend and you wouldn't like that would you?

You all have convinced me! Wal Mart is cheaper on everything else so why not glasses too. I am there a lot so it will be convenient. I am calling my dr to get my prescription.

I don't drink coffee either. I have tried it smells great. I even have a coffee pot. Maybe I just don't know how to make it taste good. I have tried some of the flavored coffees that are good.
