  • Hello again!
Ginny would that be 8:30-9:00 central tomorrow morning? I can be there! And your lunch sounds just fine, lol. Enjoy!
Geri, I am so happy that you are happy about TOM, lol. I'm like that with my pms, I know that as soon as I start then I feel better. And about those celebs showing off their boobs... well I am with you there. If I was 18 and childless again I could get by with revealing clothes and such, but even then I was very modest and now after 3 kids I will never show anything to anyone (well except DH of course) It's funny how when I was young I hated my body and now I look back and think, HEY! I was HOT! LOL If I had that body back I would run naked through walmart and enjoy it! lol.
Candy, I love black eye peas. I've never had them with cabbage though. But I love cabbage too so I'm sure it's good. Did you get alot done with your helper yesterday?
Well getting out of the house for a couple of hours felt great. I think the kids needed it too because they were great at the store. So tonight I'm making morningstar farms burgers and french fries! I also bought a bag of morningstar farms crumbles to use in place of ground beef in spaghetti tomorrow night. I'll have to find out how that changes the point value though. But so far I really love thier products.
Well I need to get off of here. TTYL!
  • Spryng, LOL !!!NAKED THROUGH WAL*MART HUH ? I won't be showing any boobs off now that I am a mom unless it's cleavage.. that I can't help since I am just "blessed" that way but some of these dresses are over the top and don't need to be... Even some of these women that have children still wear their chest popping out.

You can dress nice and with class without your chest out. Catherine Zeta Jones does it and she looks nice. And she has 2 little ones.

Glad to hear your store trip went well. I have had the MorningStar sausage before and it's pretty good. I forgot about it though. Guess I will get some this week and make something with it.

I have to come chat with you all sometime..

    Check you all later.
  • Missy, you are too funny. I love celebrity gossip, and all that. My husband will be watching tv with me, and I will spew off some fact that I learned on E! He just gives me weird stare. Try not to fall off of your tread mill tonight. The previews for tonights Idol look really good in a bad way.
Andrea, I can't belive I was actually right about the killer. It is Marlena, or at least her evil twin. Can't wait to see how that all plays out.
Well, to those of you who were in the chat room, it was fun talking to all of you. I check in there at odd times of the day to see if any one is in there.
    Have a good evening all.
  • Ricci, I am stunned! When today's episode started I was watching Marlena and thought she was acting funny. I'm just still in shock! She has always been the "good one" out of the bunch. I curious to see how this one plays out too. Good for you picking the serial killer!!!!

I want to post more, but am way to tired. I need to go fix supper. With TOM coming and DH gone, I wiped out!! I'll check back in this evening when the kids are in bed!TTYL!!
  • Hey there!!! Hope everyone is having a good evening. Missy, hope you are alive and well after watching Idol!!! I didn't catch any of it. We watched King of the Jungle on Animal Planet. Kids love that channel. It was pretty entertaining. I did my gazelle for a bit while watching so I got a little excercise in. That in addition to the grocery shopping and putting away has done me in to today.

Geri, glad TOM has come. As miserable as he makes us, he is a welcome sight in most cases!!! And I completely understand what you are saying about the kiddos. Mine are 4 and 2 (almost 5 and 3) now and it is much easier than when they were younger. They have gotten to a point where they can play a little on their own w/o me and it is nice. You will get there. Probably another year or so.

Ginny and Spryng, I will try to come chat tomorrow morn if I remember. I'm fixin' to turn in now so I can get up early to work.

I got my W-2 and I averaged 33 hours a week! Amazing. I don't know how because it seemed I was always struggling just to make my 32 hours. I can sure think of 100 million things I'd rather do with those 33 hours!!! If I would quit spending money, maybe I could quit working. Internet shopping is going to be the death of me.

So, how was everyone's dinner? We had salad with romaine and baby greens, carrots, black olives, avocado and alalfa sprouts and pizza bread (a nice thick bread with cheese, no sauce) which I found in the freezer section of Walmart today and spinach and cheese stuffed mushrooms, a recipe I found in my dehydrator book though I didn't use rehydrated spinach, I used frozen. It was all really good. I am really excited about trying out new recipes. So far, so good.

Well, I'm off to bed. Hope everyone had a great evening. TTYL!
  • I hope all of you are enjoying your evening!

I cooked the chicken fried rice tonight and loved it!! My neighbors came over and helped me eat it! Alex really liked it too. Andrew is a bit more picky and I had some hot dogs in the freezer, I don't hardly ever fix those for the kids b/c of the nitrates, and that's what he had for supper.
My friend called me from Fayeteville and wants to come spend the night the 2nd wk of Feb. She has 2 kids but will only be bringing 1. I'm sooo excited!! I haven't seen her in a while and we used to visit every other month.
So, what did everyone else have for supper? Candy, your supper sounded good! Sometimes a good salad really hits the spot for me. BTY, I remember hearing you say something about looking for homeschooling material. I don't know what religon you are, but the ABEKA program is really great! It is a christian based cirr. It is very colorful and they really learn a lot. You may already be familiar with them or not interested, but I thought I would throw that ya anyway. That is what I used for Andrew for kind. I was VERY pleased.

Spryng, let me know how the morning star beef stuff turns out. I almost bought it the other day. I hear ya with the before children body. I was 120 before kids and wouldn't wear a bikini cause I thought my stomach was too fat!!!! Isn't that crazy! If I ever get into the 120's again, I will think I am soooo hot!!

Missy, I def. agree with you on Catherine Zeta Jones. She is one classy lady. She dresses like a lady. I have a lot of respect for her in that department.

Lori, hope you are doing well. My cousin and his family lived in Germany for about 3 yrs. He just came home last July. It was so good to see them. My prayers are with you. I know it can't be easy.

Geri, I hope you are feeling better. I have a love hate relationship with TOM! Right now I wish he would hurry up and come. I will have to say, the scale has been good to me. I usually gain 2-3 lbs. before and I weighed this morning and it is still 159.5. But then I wonder, is it going to come? I may have made a boo boo this month if you know what I mean!

Ginny, I need you to pass some of the lavender my way! I need some kind of destresser after the day I had with my kids!!

Ricci, I'm still in shock about Marlena!

Well, I'd better get off and go to bed! TTYL!
  • Good evening ladies!!

I was going to start a new thread, but then I would never have remembered what anyone said.

Candy, another year or so OK I can handle that!! Glad you're enjoying your new way of eating. Are you feeling any better because of it?

Andrea and Ricci, for a second there I thought maybe it was Lexi!! The white coat threw me since Marlena hardly ever is seen in a lab coat. I still think it's Marlena's evil twin sister since her face looked just a little fresher. Didn't her actual twin just have a face lift? I thought someone posted that a while back. We'll have to wait and see.

Spryng, since you watch GH .... so how is it that Rick Lansing could kidnap Carly and plan to steal her unborn child and now become the DA (or whatever it is he is)???????????? Only on a soap!!

Now it appears all I do all day is watch soaps ... only now and then. You know you can skip a few years and catch up in a week .

Missy, LOVE you celeb gossip opinions. How can you hear your TV over the treadmill? Is mine just loud??? I can't hear it at all unless it's really blasting.

Ricci, my Dh can't belive I pay any attention to that stuff either. He can't stand it.

Ginny, hope you don't have to shovel too much!! It is good for AP though!!

Did I miss anyone?? Hope not. When Dh came home from work I told him about TOM by preceding it with "don't make any of your MAN comments that will just P*** me off ..." so of course he did. Men! I told him I have no control over my emotions during PMS and that I was sorry if I hurt his feelings (but wanted to add "so toughen up already" ). BTW, Will was 200% more well behaved without MILs dog in the house.

Well, I missed Idol tonight. Went grocery shopping instead and damn is it cold outside!! Wind chills below zero tonight ... possible to -25. Keep warm out there!! I must stop eating this week. I'm afraid to step on the scale. I've been very, very bad.

Sorry I missed the chat. Laid down with Will while Tony took his cat nap hoping we'd all sleep. Tony was the only one who got his 30 minutes in. Will wouldn't let me sleep. I don't know if I'll make it in the morning, but I'll try. That's usually when I get some cleaning/laundry done and the house sure needs it, or when Tony's ready for his cereal and fruit breakfast meal.

Gotta go! Have a great night.
  • Andrea, we posted at the same time.....I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and TOM!!!! Hope your day with the kids goes better tomorrow.
  • Good morning!
Going to start a new thread.....see you there!
