  • Carol wecome to the 140's club! You are doing fantastic!

Debbie your hot too, four pounds, unbelieveable! You must be inspired!

Sherry try to shift things around a bit. Change your food choices even if it is the same points or walk a few extra miles.

Gayle you can do it again. I know that I bounce up and down on the scale all year. I may not be a skinny mini but I know I am fit.

Yesterday I went for my heavenly massage. My masseuse gives me a new lesson on health everytime I am there. Yesterday was on proper footwear for walking and we talked about crystals for you health. She was the one that got me going on the exersise ball. Have any of you tried that before? It really helps with the strngthening of the muscles in the back.

Last evening as the sun was heading towards the horizon, and the orange and yellow autumn leaves cascaded down all around me, I peddled my tour bike on the black pavement, along side the Red River. I felt a frigid chill run up my spine as my fingers turn numb with every frosty breath I expended. Is this insanity or what? All in the name for fitness. Is it any wonder why Larry calls me the Exercise Princess? Hmmm, a Princess, feels more like slaving!
  • Sherry and Debbie I am still having a problem sometimes sending you mail. Everyone else gets it. I may send some stuff from my other addie to you girls.
  • Sherry-I agree with Gayle. You body needs to adjust. We can't lose every week.

Dee-I wish we had a little bit cooler weather. A cold front came through the other day. The high was 83!!
  • Mornin'

I've got a few minutes before I leave for work and thought I would post & say hi.

Guess what??? My NEW size 14 pants are already too big!!! They are really loose! I'm so happy!!! I thought I would be happy to just stay in a size 14 but who knows...I may shoot for a size 11/12!!

    Dee,
Your massage sounds heavenly!!! Maybe one day I'll treat myself to one. I don't know why Debbie & I can't get our mail from you??!! Please keep trying!

    Shelley,
I wished it was 83 here again!!! The nights are low 40's and the days are upper 60's. CHILLY!!!

    Gayle,
Are you & Allison all well?

Has anyone heard from DONI???? We need her back!!

Gotta get to work.....Have a great OP day!
  • Sherry your temps are close to ours. We are a little cooler though. Last night it got down to 24. Which is unusually low. It has been really cool lately. I just hope that it gets back to normal like they say it is going to. Shelley I would trades homes with you any day so I can warm up.

Hope you all have a great day. I am heading out for my walk.
  • Carol, I apologize!!!! I didn't see your last weigh-in! You are doing SUPER, DUPER FABULOUS!!!

Sher: you skinny thang you!!! I bet for your height, you are looking like one hot mamma!!!! Has Wayne noticed how much weight you've lost?

I am here, but lurking over the past few days. We have several things going on...Allison still fighting her allergies, one of my Hospice clients passing away etc.

In fact, last night I went to a board meeting of a club I'm a member of and a two year director. Steve and I both ended up resigning as of the end of November. It's sad when you join a club for a good cause, to help other people out and it gets to the point that your just fed up with everything! Things are going on within the club that we do not want to be associated with. We left it as saying it was personal and we would prefer if they respected that and did not as questions. so, needless to say, we pissed some of them off and I'm sure they are all gossiping today!!!

Also, I have a chance to do a two day local craft show the end of November. Which means if I decide to do it, I will be painting my butt off over the next month! money is snug, I'm not sure if I want to spend the registration fee, plus the cost of materials. Then I have a huge fear I will not sell anything!!! What do you guys think? Are craft shows doing as well as they use to in your area? I will mainly be painting on glassware and wooden items, do you think the stuff will sell? Am I good enough?

Sorry to write a novel, but just needed to get it all out. I hope everyone is doing ok today! Oh ya, by the way, I am not staying on plan! I can not seem to get back into the groove! Send some good thoughts this way!
  • OMG and I don't mean it in a good way. Dez is at home sick today. Her teacher that she tutors students for, phone this morning to see what lesson Dez had planned for her student. Well what a surprise I got....no I will say SHOCK! Oh boy, I went to let her know that the teacher was on the line, as she reached up for the phone her blanket slipped off. HER NIPPLE IS PIERCED!!! ARRGG what do I do with that child? I didn't say anything yet because her teacher was on the phone. She has no clue that I know. I am not going to deal with this by myself. Do you remember the trouble we had when she turned 17 and wanted the industrial earing? That is the bar that goes through two holes in the top of the ear. She has already promised me before that no more piercings. She has 5 other holes and 4 of them are stretched large. Like two are the size a pencil can go through. The other two are a little smaller and one normal and then the bar. Any advise as to what we should do? I can't believe that she went and did this! No I can but she had promised and I told her no more til she is 18. HELP!!!
  • Dee-Sorry, I have no advice. I don't know that there is anything that you can do.

Gayle-I say go for it!! I personally think you would do great if you did some footstools and stuff like that.

Carol-You are getting so skinny!!! Congrats on your wonderful loss!!

Sherry-You are really going to need a teeny weeny bikini when summer comes!

Yesterday the other girl in the office was out sick, so it was quite the day!! I'm glad it is over with, now on to today!!
  • Good Mornin'

    Gayle,
The craft shows here are ALWAYS busy!! They are a big hit here. I think you are awesome! I truly believe that you are good enough to put your items in a craft show to sell. I think you'll make good money!!! Remember, what doesn't sell can be put away for the next show. I'd say...GO FOR IT!!!

    Dee,
I was going to post last night but I was so tired.I have really thought about Dez. First of all, Who was the person who pierced her nibble? She's STILL a minor!! I look at it this way...If these piercings will keep her off booze & drugs, then what can you say or do? I know it's a faze she's going through and in a year or two..I promise you, they will be gone! Her friends probably have just as many. As a Parent, No...I don't approve, same as you..But hopefully soon, she'll wake up and realize that she can't go through life the way she's heading now. She's got to WAKE-UP! Duhhhh...There's so much more she could be doing with her life right now!!! Hopefully one day she'll be crying on your shoulders asking for forgiveness for all she's put you through. Did you tell your hubby? Good luck and let me know if you told Dez that you know about it.

    Gotta get ready for work....

Have a great OP day Floozie's!!
  • okay...girls...took your advice and paid the registration fee for the craft show this morning. No sooner had the mail went, I received a phone call... remember the 3 day painting certification in Oklahoma City I was signed up for in April???? They had a cancelation for the original class I wanted....so now, I am going in 11 days!!!! So, basically, I have NO money saved for this, I had hoped to have the 6 months to plan and save. It will actually work out better though, because Steve needed to be in Kansas City that same week for work. So, this morning has been a whirl-wind of making contacts, motel reservations, paying balances etc. I haven't told my daycare parents yet!!! I will tonight. Now I need to come up with money for class, inventory for craft show, two birthdays, Christmas (YIKES) Just wanted to let you know what was happening in my life. I'm broke, getting broker, but planning on having fun (Hopefully!!)!!!
  • Gayle good luck with your painting adventure. No use waiting til you have money because the time just never comes.

Sherry I think that I need to give you the big speech again. Slow down and do something for Sherry. You sound exhausted all the time, if you aren't careful you are going to get sick.

Shelley was today better at the office. Is the other girl back?

Debbie how is the new grandbaby?

We decide not to talk to Dez last night. We had scholarship issues that we needed to go over. If we brought that issue up she would have shut down. We will probably talk to her next week about it. I know that it isn't going to go away. We decided that if she is ready to take on the adult desisions then she can take on the rest too. She will need to pay for her dentist, glasses, perscriptions, etc. We have a plan so she will just have to pay the remainder. This kid just has to much money if she can waste it on foolish things like that and all the other things that she wastes her money on.

We will be going to the lake this weekend for the last time this year. It is suppose to be warm but of course not swimming weather. Maybe just some frolicing on the beach at night. Wink; Wink!!!
  • Good luck with Dez, Dee. Is she a senior this year? Apparently she wants to go on to further her education. What area would she like to get into?

Hmmmm...seems like our thread is very slow as of late....what happened to everyone? I'm as guilty as anyone for checking in and if no new postings, I don't post myself....if we want to continue keeping this group alive, we need to post. Even if your not staying on plan, we want to hear from you.

I am SOOOOOOOO nervous about the class!!! On a good note, I can hardly eat because my stomach is so queasy! I really wanted the 6 months to practice, but yet I couldn't hardly pass up this opportunity.
  • Gayle, you are right. Sorry for not posting. This has been a horrible week. I don't feel like getting into it right now, but I have been consoling myself with donuts which just makes me feel worse. When I feel like I can talk about things without having a nervous breakdown, I'll explain everything.
  • Ramona, I'm so sorry this week isn't going well for you...I had a feeling...please remember that we are all here for each other and PLEASE remember that I will be thinking of you today and sending a special prayer your way hoping that life gets easier for you. I know it's not real, but here's the best I can do right now...

    {{{HUGS}}}
  • Ramona I too am sending {{{HUGS}}} your way. This too shall pass. It is just hard getting through it. We are here for you.

Gayle you are a great artist. You will do fine. I know that you are going to have so much fun. Dez is in Grade 12. Believe it or not she wants to become a plastic surgeon. Or in the least a specialist doctor. She has 11 years of university. She is smart enough to do it. I know that it will be very stressful.

Hope that you all have a great weekend. I will post on monday. Off to the lake I go, hi ho, hi ho, it is off to the lake I go!
