I'm a poet! You may not agree.
The light bulb in my lamp burned out. Whatever will I do? It must be someone else's fault. I think I'm going to sue. |
Verse 2: My kitchen is very messy There are dishes in the sink Somebody should make me clean up Before it starts to sTink. |

Arrrrrrrrr!

Must be, Peachy. I'll try again later.

Arrrr! ye scurvy mates! Me timbers are shiverin' here today - it's cold!
Kiwi & Cowper, you are soooo poetic. Just lovely. There was just a big screeeech and kabooom out in front of our shop - it's our accident of the week. Doesn't look like anyone's hurt too bad, just their cars. And aren't you happy you know? I'm entertaining my 6 yr old nephew tonight - his mom and dad are going to their 20th class reunion. They're such babies. |

Blimey.
We're all off today due to Isabel(which we didn't really get...just winds and rain). We lost one major tree that took a lot of little trees with it. Otherwise, no damage. The boys are watching Monty Python, DD is out and DH if fixing FIL's upstairs ceiling which collapsed as a late thank-you for what last winter's snow did to old houses. I have a list to execute. I'm exhausted. All our cancellation phone calls for today came at 1/2 hour intervals between 11:00PM and 1:00AM. I went back to sleep after the first few, but after that I was up all night. I have said again and again that I am quite capable of listening to the radio in the AM and do not need three middle-of-the-night phone calls since all three kids go to the same school, but they persist. My WW is going pretty well. I did eat chinese food, but not excessively. I have not exercised today, four points is plenty of motivation to move my sad carcass. bye |
Avast ye! What fer ye got so cold in der summer? Sumtin is amiss in the northern trade winds.

Blimey, that's an impressive bunch of phone calls. Shiver me timbers, you'd think they could manage to eliminate duplicate phone numbers on their list. I could do that with a couple of bleedin' keystrokes. Personally, I would love it if they would call us about cancellations. However, here, they don't decide until the last minute in the morning, and you have to listen to the horrible local (country) radio station at just the right time (which is either before I get up or after it's too late because the bus is due), or you just don't find out. They have it on a TV station, but we don't get that either because we live out in the puckabrush. Arrr, Peaches, go edit your poem. "sTink". It's a fabulous verse, I love it. Who else wants t' have a go? My darling d brought home a couple of friends to work on their Biology project, which appears to consist of finding living things and bringing them into the house. So far I have seen a snake and a butterfly and moth (all in jars, thank you). This is apparently what happens when girls make friends with boys (one of the friends is a boy). I made cookies. Aren't you impressed as he**? Kiwi |
