Linda yeah 20 post and 20 days to the time that you joined :) Linda when we post on the thread it shows the last time something was posted so it would clue them in that the thread is still active. Don't worry :) I've had a busy couple of days but I always read :)
Carri, I haven't had that happen in a long while. But I do remember still feeling full from the evening before. Hope you have some relief now  It could very well be the sugar. It does other bad things to the body so the aches and pains could be from it. Sodium is my issue also along with the carbs of course. I only notice it in my hands though with my rings. My co-worker is supposed to read over the Attack Phase of the book this weekend. I gave her my number so when she is ready she can let me know :). I'm also doing a most weight loss in October with a 3FCer. I spent all of August and September trying to get where she is now and now we are gonna see who can keep it going this month. Should be fun, hoping I do well :crossed: But you're right nothing like having someone near you doing the same thing on this journey :) LOL Carri, re: Olive Garden breadsticks. I do that with the salad mainly. They bread starts to make me feel guilty right away after one. But did you know their house dressing is like 250-300 calories? I read that somewhere, but I feel like it's still veggies so whatever :D Yes tasty and free. :) Hope you enjoyed your Mexican lunch without worry :crossed: I'm up .9 since 9/30. Not bad but I wanted to stay in the 160's awhile longer ... but nope I went off course. Today I'm gonna try to make it a smoothie day and see how I fair :crossed: Have a great day Ladies, ttyl :) |
Good morning all!!! It is a rainy, nasty day here in East Tennessee, but I don't care because it is FRIDAY!!!!! Happy, happy, happy!!!
Yesterday was a so-so OP day for me. I tracked faithfully and got over 10,000 steps, so that was good! I went over just a bit on calories due to some snacking at bedtime. And I totally blew the sodium thing out of the water.. (I finished up the offending tuna salad from earlier in the week, then just had to have extra sauce on my stir fry....) Thanks to the sodium I was horribly thirsty last evening, so I drank a lot. And because I drank a lot, I was up and down to the bathroom all night. A vicious cycle.. But that stir fry sure was tasty... Olive Garden... Yum... I crave spaghetti sometimes, and when I do break down and make it I try to use ground turkey and lots of veggies in it. The pasta calories kill be tho. Love that stuff!! Have a great day!!!!!! Linda |
Linda, LOL I have that issue at night. up down up down :) what was in the tuna that made it offending? :) have you tried the shirataki noodles? I may have asked you that already sorry if I did. It's raining here too and quite chilly compared to what it's been :)

Morning Ladies …
I did REALLY bad at the Mexican belated bday lunch with the girls yesterday, I totally went off plan , which isn’t good considering I just went back on plan after three days off…oh well today is another day, and I had fun. :ink::ink::T Rennie – up 0.9 isn’t bad, I’d be so afraid to jump on my scale right now …I’m sure I’m up 2-3, so I’ll stay off of it again this weekend. And yes I love Olive Garden’s salad too …I had so much of it and the breadsticks before my food came, that was my issue …but I do just love that salad dressing …I buy it at the store sometimes and make the salad at home, that way I can measure the 2T of dressing…I don’t think it tastes as good as when you have it there but it’s still good. Linda – I agree, TGIF !!! :cb::cp: I get off at noon today because I have a hair appt …nothing big , just putting some highlights back in and a trim …I may be an oddball but I actually hate getting my hair done, takes like two hours of just sitting there and I find that so annoying, just want to get up and out of there, haha …Yes, I love spaghetti ( any pasta really ), and I crave it sometimes, just a big ol plate with some meat sauce and garlic bread. :hun: I get up a lot to go at night too …I’m just sort of used to it now …I tend to drink a lot of water right before bed…guess I should cut myself off at 8:00 like I do the dog, haha  Like I said above, I won’t weigh myself this Saturday, been too bad this week and don’t want to see …but I have hopes for next Saturday, lol … You all have a great weekend, I’ll try to check back in but I might get too busy …we’re buying paint for the outside of the house and may be doing some of that if the weather will cooperate …it’s a beautiful Fall sunny day here, nice and cool …but really windy which kind of stinks. Hi Kate, Terra, and Decapulet – come back and talk with us :gossip: See ya !! |
OMGoodness, Carri, they sell Olive Garden salad dressing? Which store? Are you talking about the Greek dressings? I love the one by Kraft, yum. LOL on cutting yourself off at 8pm :) Enjoy the sun it's been raining here forever it seems :)
|
Yes, they do ...crazy huh ? It's awesome to use at home ...I buy it at Kroger, but they also have at Sams Club and Marsh I think.
Then you can just put all of the things they do into the salad mix and then you're good to go |
Oh my goodness, didn't know, but now I do :D thank you  You have made my day. Now to figure out which one here carries it. I'm seeing it here at Walmart :). I'll have to check the next time I'm near a Kroger and I'll have my son check Sam's Club. Thanks again :) Checked on Sam's website they do have it. So I'll have to get some. thanks again :)

Good Morning Everybody!
This week has been busy at work, between month end and harvest in full swing the day just flies by! Finallly caught up and all salesmen and managers are at a meeting his morning, so I get a little quiet time! The birthday party, family and friends staying over and lunch out at the bridal expo took a little toll on my weight loss. But I got rid of the increase and am startng to lose again. This week has been harder for me to stay OP. I haven't cheated. I haven't really had cravings, just kind of in a food slump. I get home from work, change clothes, go for my walk then it's like I don't want to think about making lunch and supper. I would love to just make a pb&j and call it a night. Or popcorn and wine. That is my favorite supper. BUT I haven't....just wanted to. I think because this has been a slow week weight loss wise for me. I also recognised I was mentally struggling so I tried to mix things up a little bit. Used some different spices in my food. I made Kale chips for the first time Sunday night and then for a second time last night. Sunday night I was on the phone with my daughter while cooking. To be completely honest I wasn't sure I was going to like kale chips. In fact I was pretty sure I wouldn't. So my thought was try to season the bejeezes out of them. As I said I was talking on the phone....well when they were done and I ate themI think I must have seasoned them 3 or 4 times. WAY too much salt. I ate them anyway. Which is probably some of the reason for my slowed weight loss. Last night's batch was much better. Wednesday I broke down and bought one new pair of jeans. Everything I have is too big or too small. I have lots of shorts and capris that fir right now but it's October and the past couple mornings have been in the upper 30's or low 40's. NOT capri and sandal weather! Once I get another 10-12 pounds off I should have plenty of jeans! I went through my closet last night and pulled out everything that is too big. Well most everything. I kept some of the sweatshirts. What is it about oversized sweatshirts that is just so....wonderful!! I got a little panicky last night. I packed six of those cardboard grocery totes with clothes. Then I shoved them in the extra bedroom. Should I take them to Goodwill?? Should I hang on to them, "Just in case"? I feel like keeping them will make it to easy to let myself regain. I have lost weight before...and I have regained weight before. I have donated my clothes and had to rebuy larger sizes. I am kind of torn over what to do. I am also realizing that for the rest of my life if I want to maintain a weight, I am going to have to mindful of what I eat every single day. I sure hope I can do that. Carri I ready your comment about sugar and white carbs and feeling achey. My plan says those foods increase inflamation. So it makes total sense that you are feeling achey after eating sugar and white carbs. |
Kate glad to see you back :)

Morning Ladies !!! I hope you all had a great weekend ...I did have a good one, although not 100% on plan, so that was a fail ...seems like since my bday I have one good day, one bad, one good day, one bad ...so really not losing, but not gaining horribly ...would like to ease my way into totally being back on track by end of this week.
Kate - yes, I definitely think that the sugar and carbs have caused me great inflammation ...feel so much better when not eating it ...like a whole new person. Sounds like you got a lot going on around you ...sometimes that's a good thing, especially when it's with family and you are making memories...I always think I'm gonna try and make kale chips and then I chicken out ...so besides them being too salty do you think you would like them normally ? Kate and Rennie - I'm always scared to throw out the bigger clothes since eventually around the holidays I need them again ...that's so bad, haha Hi Linda and everyone else ...have a great day. |
Carri, I am with you on easing myself back in ... but I need to do it like TOMORROW. I have been totally off track the last two days,
|
Hi love2b150 - nice to see you again.
So glad I found you guys again! Eggs and toast for breakfast, sushi for lunch. Run tonight and strength tomorrow. Really focused on consistency now. |
Morning Ladies …will this birthday stuff ever end ? So my birthday was on the 29th of Sept as you know, however dh’s parents want to take me out tonight for it …so we are …hey, I’m not gonna turn down a free meal and not having to cook haha …hoping not to eat too much… :hun:
Rennie – yeah I’ve been off for several days now, off and on …bad pattern to be in …here’s hoping both you and I can get back on track and stay there for a while. Dcap – nice to see you again ! Glad you found us. Mmmmm sushi, I love it …have it a lot …love something so fresh …nice job on the exercise …that’s the part I’m not good at haha Hi Linda and Kate. :sunny: I’m sure it’s gonna be another boring long day at work …I need to win the lottery :D Have a great day all !!! |
What ?????????? nobody else came on here after I did yesterday morning ? Where are you ladies ?? Linda ??? Suppose you're all just busy ...
I know even though a few of us are struggling to stay on plan right now that we can overcome this and make a push to stay OP during this upcoming holiday season and lose this weight !! Everyone have a great day, hop back in here  |
Decapulet, I think I have found a walking partner. I'm just waiting for her to contact me. You know that's my thing and if I can just get back to it I'll be real good :) I need to focus on consistency :)
I'm here Carri, :) I had one good day yesterday. Hoping to do the same today. :crossed: Enjoy dinner and I'm with you ... I don't turn down free meals or the joy of not cleaning the kitchen :) Linda, where are you Lady? Kate  |
Morning Ladies ...Linda, where you been hon ? I hope we haven't lost our fearless leader, lol ...jump back in !! I haven't been OP as of late but I'm still coming around for some encouragement ...nice to know we all fall of the wagon weekly, hahahaha
Rennie - it helps so much to have a walking partner, usually dh and I walk together in the evening, if he isn't going then I'm not, so I need that partner to push me into it ...yes never turn down a free meal, lol Tonight my parents are coming over to hang and eat ...I gotta rush home right after work to finish picking up some things around the house, maybe run the vaccuum real quick ...I want the illusion of clean not perfectly clean, lol Well you all have a good day ...hope to see you all on here today posting |
Carri, my husband use to walk with me then he started to lose too much weight. He's already tall and thin (with his Pepsi gut) but that's the only thing he needs to lose so new partner for walking it is. It is good to know we all fall down every now and then. I think mine is more one or two days on then one or two or more days off, smh. :D. Ha when my Mom comes I do the same thing ;)
|
Hey ladies!
It is fall, so The Harvest Moster is in full swing for me. Work is busy. Days are shorter and weather is stil nice so I spend as much time outdoors as I can. I am sticking to my plan and am down 6 pounds since the first of the month!! Carri- I was afraid I wouldn't like kale chips to start out with so I thought if I seasoned them enoughI would like them. I have made them 3 times since that first overly salty batch and I do like them. I have found over the years that MOST veggies that I thought I didn't like cooked, I actually really enjoy if I roast them with a little olive oil, garlic and salt. Rennie~ I find walking parters to be both a blessing and a curse. If you can find one that pushes you it is great. I have had ones that if they aren't in the mood to walk they try to talk me out of walking. I also know when I walk with my girls it seems like once one of us is wearing out or something starts to ache a little we all start complaining and it makes the walk worse. I usually put my MP3 player on shuffle and head on down the road. One of our dogs has started going with, but I cannot put him on a leash. Normally he is a huge baby, as soon as you put him on a leash, he turns into Cujo. He merrily runs on ahead. IF there is a car coming I call him back and he will heel...just until the car passes then he runs ahead to lead the way. Yesterday I was glad I hadn't gotten rid of all my too big clothes yet. Our dog got sprayed by a skunk. He is an outside dog, but still had to give him a bath. I dug through the totes of clothes and found some that were not as good and wore them. After I was done I just threw them away. I have been doing really well this week! Glad my food fantasies from last week have gone away! |
Morning Ladies :)
Had a good evening last night with my parents ...enjoyed dinner and then they gave me a gift card to Ulta for my birthday last month...Ulta is my favorite store on Earth, so I was happy, I'll be getting some more makeup this weekend, haha. Rennie - I feel like I can get back on it full time in the next few days...I've just needed a break from it all ... Do you guys ever watch My Big Fat Fabulous Life on TLC ? Well this week in one of her episodes she has a meltdown and is found in her car eating on a big tub of ice cream ...she was crying and she said off camera "In that moment, I just wanted to be a normal person who got to choose what she wanted to eat..." That really resonated with me because I always think that...like I just want to CHOOSE what I want to eat and what sounds good, not something I have to make myself eat because it's healthy ...don't know, I guess I need to get out of that frame of mind because it hasn't done me any good Hi Kate - I am gonna try the kale chips ...and I agree with you, there are veggies I wouldn't have ever touched when I was younger that taste good to me now, I think it's in the way they are made ...before I would NEVER eat green beans ...but then one day dh sauteed them in a skillet , just cooking till still crisp and I actually liked them ...same with asparagus...weird how things change. CONGRATS on your weight loss for this month ...hope some of that rubs off on me ..,.haha ...you are doing a great job !!! :carrot: have a great day ladies ...if I don't hop back in here this weekend, have a great weekend, and don't worry, I'll be back on Monday. See ya |
 Satine! I'm not great at the exercise thing either.
Love2b - exercise partners, always an interesting dilemma to me. I used to go with my now ex-husband, but he was very passive-competitive (if that makes any sense). I've since stayed away from it, but things are not great in general - AHHHH! but maybe what i need is a partner. Here's my situation: I moved to a new city in late May to take a new job. My husband of 10 years told me he wanted a divorce out of the blue in July. He moved out in September. My kids are up and down about it. I've just being diagnosed with a long-standing illness and put on medication that can cause weight gain. I've been lazy, sad, confused, angry, happy and everything in between. I need to get my life back. |
Satine- I have googled a few different Kale chip recipes. One suggested that you cook them at a lower heat for longer and leave them on the pan for 3 or 4 minutes after you take them out of the oven. That really did make them crisper. Another hint was to "massage" the olive oil onto the kale. I just put 1/2 table spoon of oil in a bowl with the kale and stir. Then I toss it around with my hands and rub all the leaves so they have a very thin even coat of olive oil.
dcapulet Hugs! You are going through so much all at once! Just take things one step at a time! Have a great weekend eveybody! |
Thanks everyone for the welcome
|
Morning everyone, hope you all had a good weekend ...mine was pretty good, but too short as usual ...don't know how much longer I can do this working thing, lol
Dcap - I'm sorry, sounds like you have had it pretty rough, with all that stress it would be really hard to focus on losing weight ...hugs to you. I've been on the phone most of the morning getting the run around from St V Breast Center ...I had a mammo done this Summer and OF COURSE they wanted further tests done, but somehow no one can tell me what these tests will cost me, every time I get someone on the phone they tell me to call somewhere else ...frankly I'm quite over it ...and those freakin tests are so expensive and I have horrible insurance ...with a huge deductible ....so either way I'm screweddddddd ...okay enough whining I guess ...I'm just more paranoid about it because one of my friends just got diagnosed at 42 with breast cancer ... Have a good day ladies |
Kate you are so right about the walking partners. I had two really good walking partners once. We walked faithfully. Missing them. If I were still in Virginia would know where to go, but I haven't taken the time to really learn about NC yet and the area that we're in, there are too many loose dogs, dogs that jump their fences, so I won't walk around here. I look having my music when I walk but I'm a chatter box so I prefer to have someone to talk to :) I'm gonna have to remember to place my Kale in a bowl to coat with the olive oil, thanks.
Carri, my daughter loves Ulta and Sephora. I don't know anything about make up. Each time I have wanted to look pretty my daughter or my cousin have applied the make up :) Ha I hope I can get back on the wagon in a few days if not tomorrow :D I went to Virginia this weekend and ate a ton of treats that I hadn't had since December so I now need to detox :) Carri, praying you get some real answers soon regarding the cost of the additional test. Did they at least tell you what they think they may have seen? dcapulet, I'm sorry to hear of all that you have going on. I pray that things get better. Prayerfully the meds won't have that effect on you  Linda, where are you? Well I ate everything under the sun this weekend and I enjoyed it all. Had a blast with my youngest daughter and some great friends. I wouldn't trade it for the world. weight 175.1 |

Rennie – I absolutely LOVE Ulta and Sephora …I spend way too much $$ at Ulta, it’s like my second home…I’m all about my make up and nail polish …I have so much nail polish ( over 100 bottles ) that I had to buy this shelving unit for my bathroom …dh bought for me actually , he was sick of seeing it all around …see if I can add a pic of it at the bottom of this post. It’s pretty cool.
Yeah, I’m right there with ya not doing well, needing to detox as well … Yes, I have a lump that I’ve had for several years that they just keep an eye on in the left one, and it’s time to get another ultra sound of it …and they said they saw some calcifications in the right one ( whatever that means ) that needs another mammo …I just had a friend who was diagnosed with brst cancer and she is my same age…so it has scared me into getting the additional tests just to be safe…and yes I did finally get someone to help me with the price..she said approx 800-850 for both tests …not cheap, but what are ya gonna do I guess…better safe than sorry. Getting two fillings done this afternoon so I know I won’t feel like eating much unless its soft. Dh said he would make me some instant potatoes, hahahahaha. Later ladies !! |
Carri, I have a few bottles of nail polish only because what ever color I get on my nails I will purchase for my feet. I have my pet egg and my shea butter to do my feet so I don't wanna pay for a pedicure but I don't know how to apply the gel to my nails and file them smooth so I do treat myself to that. I like your wall unit. It's nicer than the ones at the nail spas :) Glad you got some help with the pricing, I hope you can get some assistance with the cost. I don't know if there is such a thing but one can hope  ... gotta take care of you. Two fillings and potatoes ... ah maybe use today to help detox and drink some broth ... just a thought (but who am I) I need to be doing the same thing. Though I've already ate the kitchen ;) ttyl
|
Rennie - it is a good idea, but I doubt it happens, lol !!!! I need to get my butt in gear though !!! :)
|
Carri, me too. A post-er on another thread just posted her menu for her fasting/low calorie days ...
B- 1 egg (70cal) 2 slices of bacon (90 cal) L- EAS Advantedge Shake (110 cal) D- Laura Lean Beef Burger (160 cal), slice American cheese (60 cal) and a touch of mustard. ... may add a cup of steamed broccoli if really hungry. ... plenty of water, don't eat anything after 5pm. She plans on doing this the rest of the month. She said it is to shake up the metabolism a bit. I may try this for a day. Would you want to try this together? |
Good Morning everyone!
Had a great weekend. Friday night was dinner out with my mother. Then we went to a paint n sip fund raiser for my grandson's preschool. Saturday was visiting with my cousin, then helped mom with a few things and I bartended that night. Sunday hubby let me sleep in. Then I went for a 3.5 mile walk, it was 88 degrees and sunny. I was exhausted when I got home. We then sighted in my new deer rifle. I am already for my first time deer hunting, just over a month away. After that I spent a couple hours cleaning and rearranging my art/craft room. Then we move most everything out of the living room. We will be paintng the ceiling and walls along with getting new carpet! FINALLY!! In 2005 we got carpet, we picked some cheaer stuff because we had a new puppy. Hubby promised we would have new carpet for our son's graduation. He graduated in 2008...We are FINALLY getting new carpet. Yesterday it was too cold and windy (40 mph with gusts to 60 mph) to walk so I went to the gym. I did 60 minutes on the elliptical, I was exhausted but glad I made the whole 60 minutes! I plan on going again tonight. |
Kate YAY on the new carpet :) and great job on the elliptical. :high:
Carri, how's your mouth feel? What did you eat for dinner? I am doing the fast/low cal day (well the day isn't over so I am attempting to do it). I had an egg pattie, 3 pieces of bacon with 1 slice of American cheese, and then I mixed one scoop of Slim Fast powder in 8 ozs of water and poured it into my coffee. That was lunch. I missed breakfast, so I guess that was brunch :) |
Evening ladies …ughhhhh my mouth is still so sore…I had 4 shots and then two hours of them having my mouth propped open to work on the two fillings…my mouth has just had it, I’m having trouble opening it a lot ( which my husband says is a great side effect, haha, hates to hear me gab I guess ) …I’m still on soft foods for a day or two more I guess …ouch ouch ouch
Rennie – I do that anyway, well part of it…I normally don’t eat after 6:00 and it has helped a lot , I also don’t have any carbs after about 3 or 4 …and that has made a huge difference, so no carbs at dinner. I don’t think I could just eat that kind of stuff all day but I can see where it would do the trick …I drink nothing but water so I’m good on that. Let me know if you try it and what you think. Hi Kate – great job on the exercise …it’s almost getting too chilly around here to walk, and I hate that because I love walking outside, never get the same experience of the outdoors on a treadmill lol Can’t wait to leave work in a few mins, go home and put jammies on and just veg …I had it with this work day !!! Have a great night ladies !!! |
Morning Ladies …still struggling here …at least I’m getting some exercise in that will offset my food troubles lately. I hate that when it starts to get cooler and days shorter that I want warm comfort food.
I didn’t have a good night last night ( beyond the food thing ) …I didn’t get much sleep because dh was out late and so today I’m Ms. Grump at work, and then come right into something stupid here of course …see ? grumpy lol Linda – well now you just have me worried because it’s been so long …at least message one of us or stop in and say “hi” so we know everything is okay with you and the family. I always get so worried when someone just drops off suddenly, especially the thread owner. Hope all is okay. I’ll check back with you guys later …have a good morning. |
Hello everyone!
Yesterday the weather was better so I was able to get out for a walk. My dog always comes with and runs up ahead a bit. I love watching him chase rabbits, birds and even bugs. It makes the walk go faster. I was about 100 yards from my turn around point yesterday and rolled my ankle and fell. Nothing serious, just some scrapes, but of course it happened when I was furthest away from home. I brushed off the dirt and "walked it off". Just made me realize why I bring my cell phone with, if I would have needed help I could have called hubby or mom. This morning one of our customer sent warm fresh cinnamon rolls from a local coffe shop/bakery. A woman brough two huges boxes each with a dozen cinnamon rolls, butter and extra cups of icing. She dropped them in my office when I was at the bank. My office smelled so sinfully good! But I set them in the break room and didn't have any! It took a lot of willpower, but I am glad I didn't eat any! Carri- hope the mouth gets feeling better. I HATE having dental work done! Better get back to work! Have a great day everyone! |
LOL Carri, I'm sure that is the reward for my husband when I have dental work also :) I hate the way they keep your mouth stretched for so long. That's truly uncomfortable. Hope your mouth feels better soon  Carri I did do it yesterday and it paid off with a 2.2lb water weight drop. I did a bit of snacking also and it still paid off. The snacking was a trade out (not intentional, just happened) in place of dinner. I need to try the no carbs after 4, thanks for that tip. You are so right with the not getting the experience of the outdoors on a treadmill. :) Well here's a  hours later to help with the grumpiness  Hope your mood is better now :) Carri, I've disappeared so many times, so prayerfully she's just taking a break and all is well. :crossed:
Kate, is your ankle ok. I've done that twice and had hairline fractures each time. Be careful Lady  ... cinnamon rolls  Someone put a bunch of carby snacks in our break room today. I didn't touch them. YAY us Kate :cheer: I had a nice water drop of 2.2lbs. Eating properly always works for me the first day. Let's see if I can string another one along :crossed: I made my first baked sweet potato (baked for 8 minutes in the microwave). I added a little margarine, nutmeg and cinnamon, pretty good :) |
Morning ladies ...
Kate - cinnamon rolls are a BIG weakness for me so I would have probably given in, great job that you didn't...I know how hard that is. Hope your ankle is okay, I hate when I do things like that ...cause the older you get the more those things start to happen, haha The mouth is not feeling any better, I've been taking a lot of ibuprofen which I hate, but feel like I need to to get thru this first week of soreness ...still eating soft foods only. Rennie - congrats on the loss ...glad to hear that way of eating worked for you...yes, I highly recommend the no carbs after 4 thing ...it also really helps with belly bloat ...I get a lot of that from carbs. Your sweet potato sounds good. TGIF :carrot::carrot: So glad it is Friday ...hope you guys have a great weekend !!! Talk to you Monday. |
Good Morning and HAppy Friday. I have a short day today!! Well...a short work day today. I have to go to my son's and watch the grandkids this weekend. I am going to leave early so I can get a walk in. It will probably only be 2 miles, but that is better than nothing. I weighed and packed all my food for the weekend so I am not leaving my meals up to chance. Bethany, my daughter in law, will be working 7 pm to 7 am. My son is helping a farmer with harvest so it's hard to say when he will be hone. I think both of them are hoping I will cook while I am up there. And I probably will...I just won't eat it!
Thank you, my ankle is fine. Knee is a little skinned and sore. I have petallar tracking issues with that knee and the tumble didn't help that. If it isn't better by Monday I will go see my chiropractor and have her yank on it. Scale continues to move in the downward direction a little everyday! It's grill day Friday at work again. But they are grilling ham steaks today...I don't feel like I am missing anything, I don't dislike ham, but definately not my favorite. Not sure what was brought to go along with them. I made Chicken stir fry with cauliflower rice. So I am looking forward to my lunch! Rennie- YAY! on the loss. Good job avoiding the carby break room treats. Our company buys and stocks the cupboard in the break room with cookies and Little Debbie treats. So that temptation is always there for me. But in all honesty Little Debbie treats aren't my favorite, so it isn't that hard to not eat them. Carri- I hope the mouth starts feeling better so you can enjoy the weekend. Have a great weekend everyone!! |
Hi Ladies ...no such luck on the mouth, still bad, I'm still just eating soft foods...had a good weekend, besides the jaw pain, was taking advil and some musc relaxers to help it ...hopefully this week it gets a lot better.
Trying to make my grocery list for a few days, hard to pick out all soft foods and not be high carb and over calorie ...but I'm working on it. Hope you all have a great Monday ( if there is such a thing lol ) |
Thanks ladies - your good thoughts are appreciated. Sending them right back to you all!
It was a rough weekend- but it's over and now I'm thinking about moving forward :) how's everyone else out there? |
Had a great weekend! I babysat for grandbabies and cooked for son and his family. I was able to resist all my cooking too!! I even made dessert on both Saturday and Sunday night.
As of today I down a total of 70 pounds. My mini goal was to be at 250 by our wedding anniversary. I was 249.8 this morning, our anniversary is this Wednesday. I made it!! Next mini goal to be below 200 by January 1, 2016. Hope everyone has a great week!! |
Carri, sorry your mouth is still bothering you  hey the sweet potato is a carb but a healthier one, right ?!?! :)
Kate, hope you don't have to go the the doctor :crossed: I'm sure your son and DIL are looking forward to you cooking. We love when my Mom comes to town and decides to cook :) I like the sound of grill day. I miss being able to go on my deck and grill when I want. Where we live now we have to pull the grill out, wait for it to cool then out it up, big sigh :) I've always wanted to try the cauliflower rice but have never taken the time to grate it. Goodness I would be in trouble if we had Little Debbie snacks available that I didn't have to pay for. I love your ability to just walk away, GO YOU :high: Kate :woohoo: on the 70lbs GONE :carrot: dcapulet, sorry about your weekend, hope you have a better week  Had a good weekend lots of not so good eating but a good weekend nonetheless :) Hubby and oldest son had a birthdays :) |
