Hi all. You all seem to be doing very well with your eating plans. Congratulations to everyone who lost this week!!!

It's just 12 days until my parents' party and there is still sooooooo much to do. The flowers and cakes are going to be just beautiful. I will make sure I post pictures of them. My SIL is going to use her digital camera to make pictures throughout the event.
My class reunion is the 26th of September. There is still a great deal of work to do on it as well. My co-chairman is taking care of the mailing and I'm contacting everyone via e-mail(classmates.com). I got 2 really disturbing e-mails over the weekend from a man who feels he has been slighted by our class over the years. I tried to explain to him that we sent everything to the address provided, but he just went into a tirade. I think there are some deeper problems going on here besides a missed reunion. Scarrrrrrry!

And now, these words of wisdom:
May your new pools always be filled will sparkling water and good friends;
May your chickens never "fly the coop"(especially an air conditioned one!);

Gayle great cleanning tips. Thanks for the birthday ideas. I think that I will get the golf magazine and I asked Larry about a special club. He would like a wood 3 or 5 iron like our neighbor. I am not sure what else I will get him. I asked Larry if he wanted a big party and he said no we just couldn't top the tropical party we had. He said that he would rather have a quiet dinner and go to San Diago in the fall. So if i disappear for a few days that is where I will be.

Debbie we have an above ground pool with a deep end dished out. It is just over 5 feet deep. I can't touch bottom. I am a short little ****. We have an upper deck and a lower one. We use the upper deck the most.

Sherry what day is it that you said you would take to rest? I will keep on you girl. Even Debbie said that you sounded tired. I thought about getting Larry a gold chain but he has such a hairy chest that we don't think that it would be good. Probably get tangled up in his hair.....lol

Cheryl glad your back and that you had a good time. Yes adults can get pretty childish when we drink.

Ramona that is such a cute poem. Don't be shy to ask for help with your parents party and the reunion. You aren't super women, even though I think that you are great.

Any other birthday ideas girls??? Can you come up with something that would be good for traveling?

been super busy here.
doing the homeschool thing.
man the summer is going buy to fast.
lots of stuff happing here,
the floor in my front room is falling thru and the landlords gonna fix it so i have to move all the furniture out so they can lift the carpet.ack!

was so down and depressed bout my weight and constant preds to keep me from pain i just gave up!
but i found a way to climb back on the wagon.
i joined LAweightloss and lost 6 pounds the 1st week on preds:o
im so excited!!!!so i started back with the excercise,
trying to get the waters in is the hardest.
i feel like im eating so much food and im losing so im happy bout that.
gotta journal.
lots of things i must get into the habit of doing.
ive decided the best gift for myself when i lose my 10% weight is to quit smoking.
thats been my excuse dont wanna gain any more.
at least then if i gain it wont be detrimental to me.
so thats my first goal!

The newest thing that happened at school is that the principal found out that I was taking to Patty to school when I do my bank rounds (her school is 5 minutes from mine.) Needless to say, she told me that I couldn't that. I told her that I promised Patty that she wouldn't have to ride the bus. Her answer was let's see what happens (she found out because I was gone Monday for 1/2 hour to take her to school and go to the bank, and the phones were ringing off the hook, so the other lady in the office complained about her being the only one to answer the phones.) I told Patty she would have to ride the bus to school. Well, the bus didn't pick her up this morning and she had to stay home from school. Our school bus system stinks! Even though I work for the school and deal with the buses day in and day out, they told me the only thing I can do is call the bus depot at 6:30 tomorrow morning to get the dispatcher to remind the bus driver to stop at that particular bus stop. I am so frustrated over this whole thing. Tomorrow if she doesn't get picked up, I am going to come home and take her to school. Then I will have 1 hour away from the school and there will be more complaints. Of course, it doesn't seem to matter that I am there at the crack of dawn and leave at 4:00! I give up!! I just can't win!!
