Hello there,
I have decided to join the human race again... I am still having some pain, but nothing like I was.. and I am beginning to do more things again. IT's still a drag and an annoyance to have this pain all the time, but it is tolerable and I guess like most things we adapt and get used to it. Anyway I am back. It is so hot around here, in the high 80's every day, and very humid..we had a lot of lightening and thunder around 3-4 this morning, but only a drop of mist came out of it so the humidity is still very high. Not that I am complaining, after all it is summer. Last night dh and I actually sat out on the deck on our glider for a short span. It was still 80 degrees at 9:30 last night, but we had a beautiful breeze...it was really nice, till the mosquitos came out, but I had sat long enough anyway... but at least we got a few minutes of time together. Hey, I'll take anything these days... needless to say our lovelife has been non-existent lately.
I've tried to keep up on the posts, I noticed there haven't been to many.. everyone must be enjoying their summers. I do have something to be happy about, besides the improvement of my health and that is that I sold a house. The one I was born in. I listed it on a thursday and it sold the following wednesday, and I got the asking price. I was surprised and very happy. I went to the closing yesterday,, boy they get a lot out of you to sell a house. Of course the government will get even more...so its just not fair.. anyway, we are going to do a few things around my home this fall. I am looking forward to that.
Grandma G. sorry to hear you got the worm.. I don't have to worry about that, I am still using windows 98... but I can imagine the chaos it has caused you. Computers are nice but a big pain when they don't work right. I just bought my youngest, who turned 21 last week, a new Dell for college. I ordered it on line on a monday, and it was here on wednesday, talk about fast service.
Meg I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to get that job. And glad your wrist is better to.
Cathy, I know you are having a great time in England with that granddaughter. You won't want to leave, I'm sure.
Hello to everyone else.. hope to read your posts soon.

Hope he loves it and you find that routine

I've been researching the procedures, and don't really want to have the surgery,, but unfortunately I think I need it... will see what the doc says. The condition is called radiculopathy, even sounds icky
We are thrilled. They already have a girl just turned 3 in July, and their little guy is 19 months. They will have their hands full. Good thing we live near by.
