Lindy--I have a question for you about the nutribullet and the smoothies you were (are) making: what was the overall effect on your energy levels and sleep and that sort of thing? I am considering buying one as I KNOW it would help me up the veg servings and I like the idea of whole and raw and max nutrition.

Wow.... Everybody is back and i disappeared! Lol

Well i trained 4 days this week and.was soooo super sore! Lol but this weekend i have done so bad!!! I went shopping.with my mother in law and got new makeup and bought size 28 (10 in normal sizes so im told) and they r super cute. But we grilled.with the inlaws and i has raw cookie dough. And now fixing to eat fried fish. OMG!!! What has happened to me???? I hope 1 weekend cant undo months of hard work!!! We.shall see

Lindy- yes i am getting it on my foot- my right foot.im pretty sure. Im glad to hear that yours wasnt bad!!!! I have already contemplated.....either shots or im taking a hydro before i go in!!!! I know thats awful..... But hey if it gets me through it! Lol i can't wait for the 28th to get here!

Well heres to next week shipping my butt back in shape on eating!!!! Talk to yall soon!

Hey girls!

I had a pretty calm weekend and just enjoyed doing nothing.

Dance - congrats on another pound down. I cannot remember ever being in the 150's. I mean, I never cared about my weight before my daughter so I was obviously there but ...ok, Im babbling, lol. Anyway, sorry to hear about you and the ex. Hopefully brighter horizons are meant for you in the NEAR future. I believe you cannot get over a person until another one is in their place. It distracts the mind and makes you realize what you shouldnt be missing. :-)

Nessa - ok details...how much damage did you do with the inlaws? lol My DBF dad just left and we are already eating healthier. I miss him dearly but not the way we were eating while he was here, haha.

BobbieAnne - the nutribullet is AMAZING. You can put in whole veggies and it purees it in a smooth drink. My energy levels have not changed at all even with a smoothie every morning, nor have I lost weight but they keep me full enough until lunch. Let me know if you buy one. It is totally worth the investment, they make great pina coladas too, lol.

Hey ladies, still at ticker but that's OK. It will come off. My fridge is loaded with veggies, I even bought celery and I hate celery.

Dance-the scale loves you. Yay for the 150s. Let us know how your date goes. Time to move on from the ex(for now, like you said) Mr right is out there waiting for you;)

Nessa-how did your weigh in go? One. Weekend won't undo all the hard work you have put in, just don't get back into bad habits. I've changed my eating these last 2 weeks and feel so much better.

I've been walking almost everyday(when its not too cold) It was 32 today so I went 2 miles, got 4 miles in on Saturday. Some days I add in wii fit or EA sports on wii. I'm still volunteering and love it. It ends in April though so I need to find something to do after that. Maybe I'll volunteer at the food bank or a hospital.

Burgundy- thay is so awesome about your volunteering!!! I.wisb i had time to do it!!

Lindy- well i dont think i did too much damage. But man did it kick my booty at.the gym....and my trainer is really hard core this week....cause everyone cheated so.i think.i may die this week! Lol but the scales o.ly read like .6 higher........vut i have a sneaky suspicion that the scales will creep up for the next week or 2. But i didnt.do too bad. Friday i had some cookie dough raw with.the little.sis. Saturday all i had was a.grilled.chicken salad. But sunday i had cookie dough and a bbq sandwich and fried.fish and.fries!!!!!! So sunday was badddddd!!!!!!

But i did really good today and im back on track. So im going to jusf keep my head high and mark it as a loss and move on!

And 150's!!!!!! Man i cant wait until i hit the 150s.......man that is amazing!!!! Keep up the good work!

Burgundy - it sounds like you are dedicated and focused. I think it is time for you and I to catch up to Nessa and Dance. :-) p.s. I love how you volunteer so much.

Nessa - that is not bad at all! In fact, that less than one pound increase is likely from the grease of the fried fish. I think it is so funny how things change once we establish good eating habits. When I lost that 50 pounds, I was so strict with my eating. If I ate a piece of fruit with whip cream, I considered myself cheating, lol. Now Im like....hey, at least I ate fruit, haha. Hopefully I get to where you are soon enough.

I am trying to limit my carb intake and did pretty good yesterday until 7 pm at night. I was craving something sweet and was trying to stay away from cookies and instead replaced it with a big bowl of cheerios. I think I was better off with the cookies, lol. I did eat very healthy the rest of the day so I am pretty happy that was my only slip up. I also got in 40 minutes at the gym so I feel good about that. I plan on doing it again today. I've been drinking my shakes on a regular basis every morning and have added an egg. I feel the egg keeps my hunger at bay much better than just the smoothie. For lunch I packed a salad and a can of sardines. I was in a rush, lol. I also packed a can of tomato soup for my before gym workout. I need something light in me otherwise I suck.

Ok, I will catch up later chickadees. I am really pleased with how Im doing. I feel like I have finally found the "drive" I have been wanting for several months and am super excited about it.

Lindy - great to hear you've found your dieting mojo! I know what you're like when you're focused - you are going to be scooting down that ticker in no time ;)

Burgundy - I'm a huge celery fan - with ranch or with peanut butter or with egg salad. I just like the crunch, I think. How will you eat yours?

Nessa - what's your food plan today?

Nessa-great job getting right back on track.

Lindy-Im ready to catch up to them. Gonna start adding more exercise and keep up with my clean eating.

Dance-ugh, celery. I wish I was a fan but im not. I bought some Walden Farms peanut butter today. All their products are 0 calories. I have tried their alfredo sauce and it is disgusting. Im hoping for better results with the peanut butter. We'll see.

Im taking a rest day from a workout and gonna go hard at it tomorrow. I had some pain all around my midsection tonight. Not sure what it was but it only lasted like 10 minutes. At first I thought it was another kidney stone but it wasnt that intense. Im hoping it doesnt come back. Gonna drink some water and just relax tonight.

Dance - what is new with you these days? How are the dates coming along?

I am really happy. I have made it to the gym 3 days this week and I feel awesome. My question for the group is...how long and how often do you work out each day? I can only get in 30 minutes 4 days a week and I am hoping for an hr on Saturday's (not guaranteed with our schedules but I'm willing to try.) I also have been pretty good with eating healthy. I am staying away from junk food and am eating a shake for breakfast, a fruit mid morning, a salad with a protein for lunch, nuts mid afternoon and then protein and veggie for dinner. Sometimes in the evenings I will have something sweet (bowl of cheerios, or yesterday I had 1 mini muffin) but really my eating is much better than it has been. I will be doing a 10 day cleanse starting Monday. It is not a fasting cleanse, just a clean eating, no processed food cleanse, so hopefully that will kick-start the rest of my healthy eating habits and cravings. It helps that I am doing this during lent because not being able to have candy or soda because of RELIGIOUS reasons, definately keeps me accountable. Last night at the ballfield I wanted a soda SO bad but because I have it up, I couldnt. Instead, I had a water. Pretty awesome.

lindy - things are so crazy at work that I've dropped my running a ton temporarily but when life is normal I do a 35min run 4x/wk roughly. Usually a few one hour walks somewhere during the week as well. Your cleanse sounds like a great idea. Nice going on the water choice!!

I went on a date with a nice and entertaining guy last night. Not tall enough for my usual tastes (basically my height in flats - bummer) but I'm going to try going out with him again and see if I get used to it. Need to spend some time online later this week to drum up some more options. May go on another first date on Sunday - can't decide if the guy could be a fit. *sigh* such a pain, this stuff. Wish I could find it more fun somehow...

Hey everybody! I got busy and didnt check in yesterday! I wish i could do celery....but i just cant stand the texture! Lol

Lindy- i work out with my trainer (and now i have a partner too) on monday. Tuesday and thursday. It is a hard cor 1 hour workout everytime. I try to go the other 2 days and do cardio. He wants hard core cardio but wothout him there pushing me ..... I dont work as hard...but atill pretty hard. And i was surprised i didnt gain more. But my cravings are back for sweets.and bad food andbi stay hungry all the time. Its.a constant battle isnt it? Lol

Dancer- well my food stays pretty much the same. I dont venture too far from what i know! Lol hut for breakfast i either have protein shake with ice and 1/2 cup skim milk or a protein pack in yogurt. Then a salad for lunch and lits of veggies. Or.meat and cheese. Then supper is lean white meat and veggies. And maybe a salad. The trainer doeant like me to have alot of dairy.and he wants me to do protein shakes at night instead of food......but well the hubby throws a fit that i have to eat food. So i doubt that will ever work. Gotta lovevhow you have to balance everything! Lol

Well.i managed to getva 1 mile run on the treadmill and a 2.35 mile 30-30 bike ride in today and tomorrowbis leg day i think..... Fun fun! Lol i need.to get more motivated!!!! But i think my worst part is eating good!!!

Lindy-I was reading another thread here somewhere yesterday(can't find it today) and it said 1200 calories a day and 2-3 hours of exercise to lose 3 lbs a week. So I gave it try today. I stuck around 1200 calories, walked for an hour and did an hour of zumba. We'll see how this goes.

Dance-if you hit it off with this new guy, I'm sure you can get used to his height. My husband is 6' and I'm 5'3 so I got lucky there. Maybe you will find the right guy and that will make dating fun.

Nessa-I'm jealous of your trainer:D, I need someone to push me harder. I'm gonna try to keep up with the 2 hours of exercise. I'm gonna need you girls for motivation.
