  • Lindy - too funny - what did you picture him looking like? The photo shoot thing was totally cheesy but fun. We had a good time but are definitely not back together or anything. It was a good reality check for me - I'd forgotten how bad he is at time management (like showing up for things he has agreed to do on time). Gotta get back on match.com soon - will keep you guys posted...

  • Hey everybody!! Ive been mia havent i? Lol i made a trip down to the farm this weekend....first time since the funeral. Good visit with the fam tho. And i found my papos bullets and im going to have some jewelry made from it for everybody (well as long as it isnt too expensive) lol!! I havent gottwn my tat yet.....i think im worried about the pain!!!! Lol im such a chicken but im getting it at some point soon!!

    Burgundy- i hope they are not too addicative......i only wanted 1 but i fear ill be hooked after my 1st! Lol but im a whimp so due to the pain...it prob will be my first and last! Lol

    lindy- congrats on the planet fitness!!!!! U will love it! Even tho my trainer kicks my butt everytime.....i love it!!!! Also could you tale an insulated lunch box with one of those blue ice things to keep it cold and have a salad or anything that is edible cold?

    Dancer- glad ur back and had fun! Dont worry about ur few extra pds.......you will have them off in no time!!! I have no idea whh the trainer hates yogurt so much. I think he has accepted how hard headed i am and just deals with the yogurt! Lol i do have fruit and have added thag and ice etc....its all too "liquidy" for lack of a better term! Lol im so odd.... Well at least i have found the dannon light and fit so its better than a full fat yogurt! Lol

  • Lindy-bummer on less money but it is extra income and that's always good. Live bands are always a plus too. I don't think I've lost anything yet, haven't gotten on a the scale but a couple of times in the last few weeks. I'm eating right but not exercising everyday. Gotta add that in. I'm so ready for it to be nice out so I can walk and run. There's so much ice right now its hard to walk to the car. I wish there was a planet fitness around here. I hate living in such a small town.

    Nessa-good idea to make jewelry out of the bullets. Tattoos are so addictive, I thought I would just get one too. 5 now and ready for more. Tattoos are painful but its a very forgettable pain.
  • Well....... I have put a deposit down on my tat!!!! So there ls no backing out now.....March 28th is the date! I even asked them when i called if they used numbing cream......they laughed and said no......so if i can handle 5 kidney stones in 1 month. I can handle an hour of tattooing for my grandpa!!!! Agh.im such a whimp tho!!!!! Lol

    well now to weight.loss...... Believe it or not the scale is actually starting to move down....this morning i was 177.6. So maybe i have built my muscle and now im just burning the fat off! Lol

  • Nessa-my hubby has an appointment for a new tattoo on Wednesday. I want another one bad. Not sure what I want but I want something under my right ankle. Kidney stones are horrible so I know you can take it. Congrats on the scale.

    Where is everyone????

    Well here it is. I did end up on the scale and was 195. After clean eating since last Monday, I'm down to 193, I'm really hoping to see 192 tomorrow and be back at ticker. I signed up for walk with Walgreens so now I need to log some walks. Gonna hit the community center and walk the inside track instead of slipping all over the icy roads.
  • Burgundy i was wondering if they changed threads and didnt tell me! Lol good idea on the inside track!!! My trainer is still hard core and i still have to text him my meals every night but im getting better at it and for the last 2 weeks the scales have dropped over 2 pds!!!!! I was down to 175 at one point last week but im back up to 176.2. Im hoping water weight!

  • Hey girls! I've been totally MIA but I am back now!! I've been afraid of getting on the scale after a weeks' vacation and then a week of laziness getting over a stomach bug. And then this week, I just picked up a new department of 7 people so life is crazy and I'm not doing a good job with workouts. Somehow I'm 2 lbs down from before my trip - I don't understand it at all as I totally have taken a partial break from my plan (some corn tortillas and potatoes which I normally avoid) - I feel crazy lucky!

    Things with my ex go from weird to weirder - I'll come back and write more later and fill you in.

    I've missed you guys - will come back and read up on what I've missed....
  • Nessa - sounds like you are doing great with your trainer and kicking butt on the scale - nice going!

    Burgundy - you'll be at ticker again in no time! Are you logging all your walking miles? That sounds cool.

    Lindy - is the second job still going?

    Neesy - interesting posts on fb lately - is everything okay? Are you just going through a reflective period? *hugs* if it's a tough time.

    So, on the ex front we go from spending tons of time together to him thinking we should spend some time apart to me thinking we should spend some time apart to ending up on the phone for hours. It's pretty messed up. But on the positive front, there's a guy I've been writing on Match that I'm planning to meet next week or maybe even this weekend who sounds super fun and less moody than my ex. I really hope we click. I could use some stability after this roller coaster ride.

    Sorry I checked out for a little bit there. I really fell off the wagon and as a result, weighed in at 192 today. That is ridiculous. I am so busy right now with two jobs, ft school and kids that I rarely have time to myself. That being said. I will continue to check into the board when I can. It may be daily, it may be every few days but you girls are awesome and I dont want to lose track.

    What is everyones goals these days? I am setting, yet another goal, 185 by the end of March. I am not going for anything extreme, just trying to slowly change my eating habits and incorporate 30 minutes of fitness a week....to start.

    Dance - Im glad something good came of the trip. We sometimes forget why our exs became our exs. I often think of my ex husband but then he shows me how flippin' lazy he was and Im like, oh yea, thats why I left your arse, lol.

    Burgundy - good job on clean eating. How long is this going to go on for?

    Nessa - arent you getting your tattoo on your foot? I have one on mine and it did not hurt much. I have another on my shoulder at that was killer, so dont worry about it too much. And to be honest. They tell you not to because you bleed more but maybe you can do a shot (of alcohol) or two before you go in. It eases the nerves. ;-)

    Ok, Ill catch up when I can. I am actually going to take summer off so I can catch up around the house and take a vaca. Then back to my schedule in February.

    Dance-glad your feeling better. You body probably needed the change for a bit and I'm sure you didn't go over your calorie range so do grants on the 2 lbs. Good luck with the guy from match. Let us know how it goes. I log my walks on the walk with Walgreens website. You enter your steps and earn rewards. I haven't walked enough yet, gotta get to stepping.

    Lindy-do you mean the clean eating or my yoyoing? Sounds like your plate is extremely full.

    I went for a mile walk in the snow/rain. Luckily it wasn't icy but it was pretty cold. I'll do a YouTube workout or something on the wii to go along with it.

    Lindy - great idea on the short term goal - I'm going to create one too. You have so very much going on right now - just take good care of yourself so that you don't get too worn out. Weight loss will come when it comes. You are what matters.

    Burgundy - nice job on walking in bad weather!

    Down to 160 today!! Can't wait to hit the 150s... I'm wearing size 8 dress pants today and am pretty psyched about it

    Just set up a date last night with a cute Spanish guy for next Tuesday. Still hung up on my ex as you can imagine but am trying to branch out again.

  • Just barely in the 150s - haven't been there since maybe 1999.

    On the ex front, we are definitively over, at least for the foreseeable future. Onwards and upwards, right? It was a tough night for sleeping but I almost feel a sense of relief - he's making such bad decisions right now that I feel like he's not the guy I thought I knew so there's no one to miss if that makes sense.

    TGIF - can't wait for some downtime this weekend - planning on lots of running and hanging out with friends... What does everyone else have planned?
