  • Howdy Ya'll

I know I'll get a lot of fussing from my friends here....... it's a wonder that big mouth Debbie didn't already tell ya'll....( ) But I didn't go to the Dr yesterday! I was so busy at work with all the sick kids I'm sending home....it was just too wild to leave! But guess what? I AM feeling a little better today so I may just give it another week and see.

Well no School again today!! What's so funny is.....THERE'S NO SNOW!!!! The weather station was calling for some...but it missed us!! They called the Schools off too early! TOO FUNNY! But hey...I have enjoyed a paid day off!!

    Debbie,
Where's the snow???? LOL!! Oh I know, Ramona has it all!!! I hope your back is feeling better and you've been resting. You're gonna have to tell James to quit being so rough with you!! LMAO!!

    Vicki,
Your post sounded like the old Vicki!! You sounded so good and happy! Wow...what a busy, busy girl!! I'm so proud of you for starting your own business.Don't get too busy for us though!!

    Donna,

Did you want a "Coconut Bra" to wear to Jury Duty??!! ROFLMAO!! You are so funny!! Hey...Don't let that pond stop you from coming here!!!! I'll be in Kansas in a heart beat after you!!

    Dee,
You & Larry are so cute together! What a nice couple! Thanks so much for the pictures! Larry is so romantic! You are lucky! If I turned off the lights and lite candles for Wayne....he would asked if I paid the light bill!!! No romantic bones in that Man!!! But I love him so I guess I'll keep him!

    Ramona,
Your move idea wasn't meant to be so please don't get yourself down about it.I think one of my problems is the worry of bills,Chris in college, etc. So just be in dept like everyone else is.Sad huh? I worry about EVERYTHING and after awhile it takes it toll on me.Wayne has no worries whats so ever.He is the type that NOTHING bothers him.Just always so happy-go-lucky. Make me sick!

    Jeanne,

  • Lisa, that is such great news about your mom. Gayle is right, it is so nice to hear good news with all the bad around us everyday.

Sherry, sherry, sherry....It's a good thing we have all this snow or I would be headed to Tennessee to personally take you to the Dr. I thought I was bad about going.....ok, you can have ONE MORE WEEK and then you better be your old self or we'll all come and drag you to your appointment!!!! LOL

"Talk" to you all later.....better get back to work.
    Ramona
  • Lisa I am so happy to hear the good news about your mom. My mom has been battling with breast cancer since last spring. She had a lumpectomy and some of her nodes removed. She is in the middle of her chemo treatments right now and the she will need radiation.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Jackie pulled through her brain surgery. She is fine right now but we don't have any more results.

Sherry I am with Ramona, we will give you one more week to get better. You know that depression just doesn't go away. It is a chemical imbalance.

Debbie isn't it nice to get an extra day off with pay? No snow yet?

Ramona it is hard for me to get excited about snow fall but I am sure that it must look pretty up in the mountains.

Shelley it was probably good for you to have it out with your MIL. Now it is off your chest. Sounds like you have been doing better with your tummy problems this week.

Well I got to go. Hello to everyone else I didn't get to post to. Oh yeah did you want me to ship you the coconuts Gayle?

    DEe

    DEE
  • Dee,
I'm so happy that Jackie came through surgery fine. Prayers Do get answered!

EVERYONE: Like I said, I am feeling better today.I have never been depressed this long before and have NEVER been told that I have depression.I really don't think I need medication.I'm NOT depressed ALL the time.Just when I worry about money,Chris in college needing help, wheather or not Wayne will get the better paying job, etc. I know others get depressed too over money or other things. Thanks so much for caring about me....

    Love Ya'll.........
  • HELLO GIRLS!!!!!!!

Vickster: Nice to hear from you!!!! Thought you might of ran off again with the ol' MIL!!!!!!

Sher: I can make an appointment with my doctor here if you would like???? Please go if you are not feeling better in a week. I can understand the down feeling, it seems like everyone spends money right and left as we count every penney! The pond that I am working on is a 6 year project in the making....maybe I should call it the "frugal mud puddle" hahaha Funny one about Wayne & the electricity!!! Glad to see the old sher!!!

Donna: I read your bio and your life sounds so fun! I'm stuck out here in Kansas and it can get rather boring. Thank you for the pond info, I'm heading that way after I post. Have you seen the candy bar wrappers that you can personalize for business and special occasions? I goof around doing a bit of it from time to time, using the mini bar to the full size bar, I call it "It's a wrap!!" BTW: Your animals sound adorable!!!!!

Dee: So you really want to know why I want a coconut bra?????? I will check out a few of my catalogs and probably run into one. You better keep yours for your next bash! Thanks for the offer! Glad to hear that Jackie is doing fine!

Ramona: You are a woman of many talents!!! I never realized you were so close to your medical assistant hours. Don't you also have a teaching degree?

Dee #2: I'm being nosey here....the time that you were here, did you have a long distance relationship going on???? My memory is slipping, but it seems like I remember this?

Well, guess I better go!!! I have a ton of errands to run tomorrow plus I am working on trying to get donations for a booth that our civic organization will be having mid March.

To all of the other Floozies: Have a great day, stay OP and please, please check in!!!!
  • Hey Donna, I tried clicking on the link, but I could never pull up anything. Is there something else I need to do??
  • Gayle....You always make me laugh...You know how I love the dear old girl.....

Nice to see some new people joining and hope to meet you all soon...I am usually here but of late have been distracted from my friends here. But I am baccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkk
  • Gayle, I don't have a teaching degree. I was a substitute teacher back in the 80's when you only had to have two years of college. I taught English and Science in the Middle School. Subs are required to have a degree now. I don't see that happening for me. I don't have the patience for the "little darlings" anymore! LOL
I would very much like to finish my MA degree. One of these days........maybe.

    Ramona
  • First of all, dentist report. I'm definitely in the market for a different one again. Either that or they give the dentist I asked for originally. I'm suppose to go back in 2 weeks for a filling, but have pretty much decided that ain't happening. I need to get hold of the insurance and see if there are any more in this area that are on the plan. I've also thought of going drastic and contacting the dentist in Metropolis. He would be the closest one to Nashville in this plan.

Retirement -- I finally figured out why the large descrepancy that I found on some papers. After being away for 6 weeks, I'd forgotten that you have to read between the lines to figure out what the government is doing.

Gayle: yes your memory is correct. I was very much involved in a long distance relationship. I still hear from him occasionally, but!
Now I've made contact with another former classmate. It's too early to see how they will go. He's currently in the Nashville area which is where I was hoping to move all along so who knows.

Sherry & Debbie: Hope you enjoyed your day off. I couldn't believe they would close school, because they thought it might snow. Did you get any at all? I guess I will bring my snow blower when I move.

Gotta run. I have a lunch date today. It's burger buddie day at the grandkids' school, and grandma gets the honors -- of course I have to buy!! Ha. The Sonic just reopened a couple of days ago (had been closed for 'forgetting' to pay their state taxes) so I have orders to bring that! It's fun though I get totally amazed how different the schools are today.
  • Debbie I can't believe that schools would shut down because it might snow. That sounds so funny. Gee if we had that happen we wouldn't have school from november to end of march or april. I guess we just get use to driving in it.

Sherry your to funny about not paying your power bill. We even had romantic dinner with the kids since they have been tiny. We have them at least once a week but each one is special. Now about you not going to the doctor, if you feel depressed or sad for more than a week you should go to the doc. It is common to feel sad once in awhile but not for longer than a week.

Titin Dee I am not fond of dentists either. I am alergic to the anastetic. So I have to do it cold turkey. How is your work coping with everything now?

Ramona I was just thinking about your boys and wondering how they are doing? With the pending war I know that this has to be hard on you.

Donna thanks for the compliment on my writing. I am not a writer, I just have a lot of time on my hands....lol

Gayle you sure are a busy women. What is this about wrappers of bars? Never heard of that here. How's the wine going.......going down really good? Do you have another kit started?

Just wanted to let you know that yesterday when Dez came home from school she had bad news. One of her fellow friends and students killed himself the night before. He was only 16. His twin brother came home and found him hanging. How very sad. The school is very shock up.

Well got to go make dinner. Hope everyone has a really good weekend.

    DEE
  • Dee, thanks for asking about my sons. As of right now, they are still in the states. Ben is pretty safe with the Secret Service duty, but Dan could be called any day. We just take it one day at a time. Please tell Dez how sorry I am about her friend. How sad for his brother to find him that way......sad, sad.
  • Ramona,
Thank you for answering about your Son Dan. I had asked you about him in my last post but guess you didn't see it. I was worried about him.Like you said, take one day at a time and pray!I'll also keep him & all of our hero's in my prayers.

    Dee,
Please give Dez an extra hug tonight.I'm so sorry to hear about her dear friend.I hope that she'll be ok. I'll say an extra prayer for his family & friends tonight.God Bless them all.

To all the other floozies.....I'll post more later tonight.I've got to start dinner now.Say a prayer for our country and our fellow brave men & woman that are fighting hard for us all.

    Love & Hugs....
