Good evening ladies. A cold day at 47 degrees.

I'm having a cup of tea having just gotten in from work.

Maggie, there is usually only 1-1/4 - 1-1/2 ounces of meat in a frozen entree. It is weighed, not counted by the piece. I'm with Faye, rarely more than 3 unless they are very small. Do you have a secret for freezing cheese without changing the texture?

Jean, hang in there - spring is coming! The calculator has always been more accurate then the paper slider. I use mine several times a day and take it to the grocery store so I know the points before I buy. I've had the battery problem with other electronics and never replace a battery before I take it out and put it back unless I know it is very old. I've not had any problems with either of my calculators. I wish you had a picture to pose of Ian in his doggie costume. I'll bet he is cute. I have a DQ right here in the neighborhood - well 1/2 a mile away. I speed up when I pass it! Once in a while I enjoy a small vanilla cone.

Faye, I hope those orth docs can get Jack fixed up and pain free pronto. I have laundry to do, too. Because of my asthma, I have to wash all the bedding down to the mattress every week. It's a pain.

SUSAN I only freeze hard cheese. I have 3 kinds of parmesan and cut it in sizes that fit into my cheese grater. I then wrap each tightly in plastic wrap then in foil placing all the pieces in a plastic bag marked with what kind it is. I have never had any go bad that way nor lose its flavor. The lady I talked to on the phone at Heinz said there should be as many pieces of meat in the frozen entrees to match what is in the picture on the box. That is why I called to ask if it was to match the picture. She was very happy I called.:p She also said they shouldn't put more veggies in it just make it weigh what the box claims. She also asked me to call back if there were any other discrepiances I noticed with the products. We had quite a nice chat in fact.
