Yesterday was a much better day. I ate on plan and got in a good workout. I finished the day at 1700 calories. Today I'm ready to get it done again. I have already finished my 64 ounces of water for the morning. I think I only had about 80 ounces all day yesterday. Hoping the day goes smoothly because I didn't get any sleep last night because my daughter was awake and having a rough night. Usually when that happens I get snacky but I had a good filling breakfast at 200 calories. I will have to keep myself very busy today so I stay awake and stay away from unplanned snacking.

Hi Ladies,
I had an MD appointment today and the nurse said, "You've lost quite a bit of weight what's you secret?" I laughed it off becasue I was really unsure of how to respond. I love when people notice my weightloss but at the same time it puts me at a loss for words. I was 199.4 last time I was at the MD's office and today I was 155.8. What a difference 43.6lbs makes!

so far i've been on plan with everything since the month begin..i even still had cookies and stayed in my 1200-1400 cal range...im slowly learning how to eat what i want but not HOW MUCH i want ..before i pick of an excessive amount of food..i actually stop and THINK first..am i really hungry? why not just have 2 cookies instead of 6 and still be within calorie range? do i really wanna mess this day up? etc..its actually been helping alot..also chomping on a bag of baby carrots stops me from mindless bad eating..i need to start keeping them around alot more

Another great day under my belt. I got my control back and it feels good. One of the wonderful things about this journey is learning your own self. Not what's working for everyone but what works for YOU. I will be looking forward to getting through the rest of the holiday season on task.

I've finished my workout for the day and will be mindful of my eating.

Brit - I think it's great you have been doing thoughtful eating and snacking. That's what I had to do with the almonds and chocolate chips. They aren't bad because I can eat enough to satisfy a craving but not overdoing it because I like it.
Sal - That is so wonderful. I like going to the dr if only to see the progress I'm making and to see their response. When you have success in what is difficult for some and seemingly impossible for others and they see someone else doing they ask hoping you may be doing something they can do. So tell them because there's nothing like a testimony of doing what others are wishing they could do. You may even say something to them and they will find that they have been missing one thing that will get them where they want to go. IMHO!!

A girl at work told me I was getting skinny and asked what I was doing and I told her I count calories and workout. She said you stopped eating didn't you? I said no I eat what I want I just don't eat til I'm about to pop. She said OH. Nothing magical.

feeling good feeling great! so far ive worked out everyday and been under 1400 cal in december.i jumped on the scale this morning cuz curiosity took over me and to my surprise, it said 152-153 and thats even with my heavy sweatpants and shirt i had on. that motivated me to stay on plan as long as i can, all day,everyday..so if i work hard enough for the next 3.5 weeks, making my initial goal of 145lbs on new years is VERY practical.

hey ladies, glad to hear u guys in here are holding it down. i had a NSV and was able to squeeze into some size 10 express jeans. then i saw a girl with some 4's and was like damn ok still a ways to go, but way better than 16, 14 or 12!

i got so hungry tonight..after dinner i ended the day at 1200 calories but after the temptations and unplanned night snacking..it came out to be around 1600 ish calories..thats not bad considering that my other days has been low..

Good Morning Ladies,
I was in my calorie range and got a good workout in yesterday. Tom is in town AGAIN and brought Choas with it. It's extremely heavy and without that I'm borderline anemic so with it being very heavy I'm tired, weak and very very cold even under a down comforter. So today will be a light day all the way around. Never been through this before and need a recoup day. It caught me off guard because it wasn't "due" until next week. Well such is life.

Good morning ladies.
I'm feeling a little better but not 100%. I didnt' workout yesterday because I was too sick. I will be hitting it today though. I feel like I'm falling behind. I've lost about 2 inches total since then and I think all progress is good progress I'm just wanting more of it.
Brit - Not to worry you will be better today.
Matilda - Progress is good any way it comes.

Hi Ladies,

Official WW weigh-in was yesteday and I was at 154.6 which is frighteningly close to my ULTIMATE goal of 147.5 (which is smack in the middle of healthy BMI). These days I am focusing on staying on plan and incresing muscle tone. This weekend I bought new pants (8R at Express!) and I am pleased to think that I may be maintaining at a sz6 which used to seem oh so tiny.

I hope you all are doing well!
