FRANCIE...glad you were finally able to go to sleep. Hubby keeps me up nights with his snoring...I can totally see myself snapping, lol. I just loaned son#1 my Bones books...haven't had a chance to read them yet and he saw them. He's a big fan of the show. I've seen a few episodes, not a big fan but I do like it. Seems like something else is on when it is on so I never see it except in reruns. So I never saw a picture of your new purse, was it a coach one?

I have been so lazy but I did get in a walk at the mall Tues, Wed & Thurs so I guess that is better than nothing. Was just trying to catch up on sleep this morning or I would have gone. I'm telling you, that trip to Lawrence was a killer and I am too old for it. Actually, it wasn't so bad. I was really agitated because we (me & daughter) left at 2:32 and it was a 2 1/2 hour drive supposedly so we figured we would have time to mess around once we got there. Took us 3 hours down, and 3 hours back. Plus, the doors opened at 7 p.m. we didin't think we would have time to eat before so we found a spot to park and walked 1/2 mile at least...we sat down at 7:30 something. Okay, they said the concert starts at 8. Do you think it did? NOOOOOOO didn't start until after 9. My whole thing was I was worried about the 3 hour drive home at that hour, worried I wouldn't be able to stay awake. Once they (Citizen Cope) came out all the agitation flew out the window...the guys voice is awesome, or so I think and he's cute too! Anyway...it was a GREAT concert! And the drive home wasn't so bad. Got home at 2:30 something, almost 3. Went to bed a little after but couldn't go to sleep until almost 4:30 so Tuesday was a heck of a day. I was just glad that Lily for some reason was tired too and I napped when she did. Anyway...

So I watched her Tues-Thurs. Josh still wasn't working but I have missed watching her and he was out looking for a job...plus she needed to get on a routine again. Good news though...Thursday he had an interview and got the job! Don't really have to watch Lily because his hours are 6:30 pm-2:30 am (he started that night) but I will watch her 3-4 days a week anyway.

Son #1 had dinner tonight and that's where I was this evening. We've been going there on Friday for the last 3 or 4 weeks, maybe 5. Him and his friends (there's 5 of them) have been having themed dinners for a while and me and daughter started going since the hubby was working. Tonight it was Chinese and they are pretty good cooks, it was good.

Tomorrow headed out to one of the kids games at 8, then a tour of old homes downtown and then another game at 3 then home to rest, clean some, play catchup with the laundry and reading...getting behind on the reading again.

Sorry for the novel...going to check in daily to stay focused and keep up with everyone.

Oops! P.S. Weight wise...don't know how but I am at 191. Had kind of given up on it and weighed and noticed I was down a pound, woohoo! I will definitely take that pound!

yay, 159.6 this morning. I haven't eaten late night snacks for the last 4 days. Feel so much better.
working today. Police stopped Gaby and I last night close to home. Light out in back, gave me a warning. Gaby was right though it was almost the same spot I got a seatbelt ticket a few months ago.

Stayed up too late once again. Still managed to get up and out before the game. Thought it was at 8 but was 8:30 so...a little chilly. Game started early so ended early and came home for a hour before heading out again. Have to go find this place to buy tickets for the tour...hoping it's not the same houses. We'll see...

SUSAN...glad you just got a warning, and I knew Gaby was a smart one! YAY to 159.6! And thank you! I don't think I am a good grandma at all...as a matter of fact I am the worst! seriously. I am trying though so thank you! How was your visit with the girls? Try not to work too hard this weekend...get some rest!

P.S. I know I am probably setting myself up to fail but I am making a Christmas Goal/end of December for myself...10 pounds to be exact. Went to change the ticker last night, or rather, early this morning and there are no Christmas tickers, boohoo, lol. Hoping this is the motivation I need, that I am tired of the belly! Also...a 220 mile walking goal...has to get me on track right? I also made sure I was subscribed to this thread and a WATP thread to receive emails daily. Getting those I think will be a big help in making me come here. I will change my ticker on WI Monday to reflect the 10 pound goal. Good day

Work. WI was 158.8, heehaw. I get tomorrow off, thank goodness. I didn't have enough money to get my contacts this payday but I do have the 375 in my Hawaii savings. Hope the prices hold til January.

SUSAN...yay to 158.8! I found a Christmas ticker on ticker factory but it messed up and I didn't feel like going back, lol...so lazy! Maybe later this evening. You are getting closer to you Hawaii trip!

I am being semi-lazy today with the family dinner and decided on getting pizza, wings and breadstix...that will make everyone happy. Sit around eating pizza, watching football and baby, lol. Just going to go make a couple of desserts and call it good. I am definitely NOT going to pig out. Tomorrow is WI and I don't want a horrible one! And tomorrow I get back on track with everything...no more farting around!

Home Tour yesterday was sort of a bust. They had 5 homes on tour and we were disappointed. The first one was okay, second one was a little better except for the one girl...she really needed to learn her volunteer job. She said something was paneling and looked at the wall and said "Is this paneling? I don't know, do you know what paneling is?" LMAO...it was a pink wall...the paneling was in the bathroom! One house wasn't victorian but it was really nice, craftsman style...think that was it. One was a work in progress and will be nice in about 5 years...lot of work to be done. Anyway, it was something to do. They have some REALLY nice old homes downtown, wish they could have found some nice, finished ones. But again, it was something to do.

Okay, better go get something done, still have to jump in the shower too!

Hi to everyone else..hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. I had the best afternoon. Just sitting out in the yard at my daughter's house. She was baby-sitting Mason, so I got my baby fix. Dang that boy is a sweetie. Then my step granddaughter was there with her 4 month old baby girl who is so adorable and smiley. Granddaughter and her BF were there briefly and grandson even stopped by. So I got my "fix" of all things "grand." Plus a nice visit with DD and hubby. AND got to see both granddaughter's BF'S. The weather was so perfect for just relaxing...something daughter and her hubby do not do often. So nice to catch them sitting still.

Gotta go fix dinner....

Wow...the stir fry was actually very good and good for us.

I hate to WI tomorrow though...I missed some exercising. Gotta get more serious.

Okay, back again...was coming back to say HI and make a ticker and then remembered can't do it until I WI tomorrow, duh!

SUE...glad you had a nice Sunday! And got your 'grand' fix! Stir fry sounds yummy! Wish we were having your weather. We started with a light rain and then went to heavy with a little thunder and a lot of lightening.

Family dinner was nice...bought 4 pizza's, 3 orders of breadsticks and 2 orders of wings. When it was all said and done there was 3 breadsticks left, 4 slices of pizza and zero wings-worked out perfect! I never know how hungry anyone is gonna be. I think I did okay...only had one slice but 3 or 4 breadsticks...my downfall and 4 wings. But the cookies got me, had too many of them. Made a cake also and I am glad that I didn't like it...too sweet or something. We'll see when WI comes tomorrow.

This has been one emotional day from ****!!! I just saw a friend's entire life go up in flames. I feel so terrible for her. I dunno what else to say. I guess I just needed to get that out..

Well, I got my walk in at the mall, 50 minutes. Going to do a 30 or 40 minute dvd later...when Lily naps most likely, or after she goes home. I swear my body feels worse after. Aren't we supposed to feel better? Anyway, it's done.

Sue - Yes, all the policemen are after me. Gaby was cute she mumbles under her breath as he walks up to the car "you're buckled" trying to reassure me or something. I finally learned that lesson. lol Nice to hear you had some good family time. Becky and I had the best visit at the laundromat when I was in town.

Cristina- Pizza is evil. I love it. Had the neighbor bring up carrot cake from a birthday party, nibbled some and threw the rest away. I went to Costco and stopped at every sample table......lol You are my hero if you can have pizza and cheesebread in your house.....I would be having the shakes like a drug addict with the excitement of indulging my little lard a$$ self.... lol anyway,sounds like you are doing good. My day off....and it is pretty decent out. Weekend at work was fast, nice to get some extra money. Hope I can swing some contacts this Friday when I get my child support. No school on Thursday/Friday. Ugh.

Quickie...doing laundry and changing beds..Monday chores.

WI was down 1/2 pound. Whew! I thought I would be up thanks to the birthday fare. I woke up rather sore from exercising and weights..don't know why all the sudden I am sore, but oh, well.

SUSAN...Gaby is funny, and cute! I really am not a big fan of pizza for some reason...I like it once in a while and the most 2 slices. It's the freaking breadsticks that get me. SUE...WTG on the 1/2 pound! Getting ready to start a load of laundry myself here in a few minutes. I don't even try to do much of anything when Lily is here. May be different if the laundry room wasn't in the basement.
