Maggie -- Congrats on losing 2#s!
There are a few things I don't put in the dishwasher. For whatever reason the silverware knives always have streaks/spots on them. I don't think the holder is as big as on my other dw, so there is more crammed into a smaller space plus it's on the door which I don't especially like.
It's another "open window" day here!Susan -- We had a tragic drowing in our lake yesterday.
They are dredging the lake and there are floating pipes w/ warning buoys that boats are supposed to stay away from. If they are pumping the pipes go under the water and you can't see them; if they aren't pumping the pipes float on top of the water. Anyhow, the boat hit the pipe or the buoy, not sure which, and it flipped the motor into the boat on top of a 10 year old boy. I'm guessing the propeller hit him; he died here in our hospital. There was another child in the boat that was hurt but not seriously. I'm not sure where/who named Kolby's baseball team, but you'd think they could come up with something more appropriate for little boys.
"Gma" -- Good luck with your new program!
It's so funny to listen to the grandkids on our answering machine. It's Bob's voice and they think he has answered so start talking. When he doesn't talk back they yell "nobody's there!" to their parents. Ian used to call and make baby sounds before he could talk. I tried to save it but somehow it got erased. Your soup recipe sounds good,
but I've never heard of textured vegetable protein. Do you get that at the grocery store or health food store? I have a pile of magazines to load in the car and drop off at the hospital on my way coming or going, then I'm on my way. Have a nice day!
