Mom and I are meeting DD for lunch then going to the grocery store. That is our exciting day.

Suze- Sure hope you are over the sickies. No fun at all. And we do worry about you. I want you to be well and enjoy your vacation!!!
Sassy- *fingers crossed* for you for the job.....still.
Jules- Hope this storm has "petered" out by the time it gets to you. We had the cold weather...now the wet. I am wishing for just some MILD. I personally love around 70-75 degrees and sunny.
Cristina- I see your scales are going down....great! You do so good on the exercise. Makes me feel like a slug.
Hi to ya'll else. Hope you are having a Happy Hump Day.
Once again I am re-thinking our day to day menus and activities. I have had acid reflux and heartburn for years. Nexium helped and I did not have it for the longest time. Dr. took me off that and I have to get over the counter meds for heartburn...none of which are as effective. I have been suffering a lot lately..and it is maddening. So..I am trying to re-group and go the way my son has gone. He cured himself of heartburn by eating well. He has not had pains since he started his new WOL in Feb. He has lost around 20 pounds and is feeling better than he has in a long time.
My problem is cooking for others...so I am going to have to get them on board. I am also going to start having our "big" meal mid-day...since we are all here there is no reason not to. And I am sure we will feel better. Our "big" meal is going to consist of lighter fare too.
Wish me luck when I run my new ideas past DH....lol.
Next to conquer the exercise demon!

Now starting on my Fertility Dr's book. (he co-wrote a book)
They were yucky, I ate them, but boy oh boy were they crappy. They were the Morning Star brand. Any of you have any suggestions for Veggie or Turkey Burgers? We've been trying every brand under the sun for Turkey Sausage, so far, no luck. Well we did like one that was Honeysuckle, but DH accidentally got the Italian Sausage, which we both liked a lot, but not for breakfast. lol. I plan on using that to make some meatballs when I make spaghetti.

Dunno if I can do it EVERYDAY, YET, but I aim to try for twice a week to start out!!! But man if I can walk 2 miles a day at least 5 days a week (once I get built up too it) that would be 12 miles a week with walking 1 mile each on the other 2 days.

But with his tooth and all he hasn't been eating that much. BUT DAMN! I know men lose weight faster than women but WOW!!!! I just feel like a snail.
I know that is part of my PCOS and plus being a diabetic, thats a double whammy. But I dunno I just thought it would come off faster....
Oh well a loss is a loss and I shouldn't complain.
