Hi All.
Jules -- I felt like crapola today. :barf: I feel a little better now, but not 100%. Hope you feel better! Big  |
the kiddos for the day! he has to work tomorrow, but it is okay.....the money will be nice. but he in deed has Wednesday off of work.
we went to a neighbors house for a party, and I had gotten the kids plates together and brought them down for them. I then went back up to get mine and Tommy's plates and when I came down, I opened the door and all I remember is opening the door and then ending up on the ground. I got a nice scraped knee and a nice bruise that goes around the lower part of my knee and a lump of some sort in the bruise. |
hi everyone. Hope everyone enjoys their day. Jules hope that you feel better. Ok I must run and get ready for work. |
Good Morning -
I actually am going to go back to bed. I took Gaby to school and work the swing shift later on. G and I went shopping Saturday, haircut for her and picked up the house. Added a day to my work schedule because a co worker's spouse passed away last Thursday night, so worked Sunday for her and doing her shift til (hopefully) she comes back. And I added another day today because someone was getting married, so my next day off is Wednesday.....*wah. Sassy - I don't know where Momo comes from, my nephew named him, I guess that was the only thing he could say...... being 1 years old. lol .......Momo went from my SIL to my mom to me, I have had hime about 3 years now, he is orange and white, 14 pounds and a sweetie. Hope you are feeling better! Jules -Hope you are feeling better too! Mindee- Ouch, hope you are ok! Sue- did you find anything good at the garage sales? Cristina, Kathy, Francie and Katy  |
I really should be doing some things off my to do list, but I am sitting on the computer chatting with my sister and checking my email......I will get to it though! I know for sure that I want to clean off the medicine shelf and top shelf in the linen closet.....but that will probably be it!

Patrick Swayze Died |
just thought that I would stop in for a quick second.....I got both sets of parents taken care of for Christmas.....now we just need to buy two 16x20 frames for their presents and we will be good to go! I also just ordered us a photo book with some pictures from places and things we done this summer!
|
Busy day here. I took mom for a hair-do then got a call for "emergency" baby-sitting. LOL. DD had a flat tire and couldn't get home to watch Mason. So...I got him for an extra 2 hours. Have him tomorrow for a couple hours too, but that was planned. :)
Nothing much happening otherwise. Used the new washer/dryer and really like them. Today was my Monday of doing laundry...so I got that all caught up. Food = bad Exercise = worse. Gotta get my head back in the game. Have a Happy Hump Day tomorrow! |
the kids are all in bed, and Tommy is sleeping on the floor! I am starting to get tired myself and it is only 9:30! so, I am sure that it will be an early night for me....I got every thing together that I need for my first appointment, and I have all of my questions and such together for my second appointment!
we are also getting our new carpet done tomorrow after we get home.....so that should be fun! my MIL is going to put the boys on the bus for us in case we are not here in time. (which reminds me, I forgot to tell the bus driver when she picked them up today that she might be putting them on the bus....I hope there are no problems!) |
ugh - kids are driving me nuts! Weight the same...running going pretty good. I feel pretty ready for Race for the Cure on Sunday. I am still taking donations on my Facebook profile, if anyone is interested. $$ goes toward funding mammograms for the uninsured and underinsured.
The school year is in full swing around here. Soccer has started, and I am busy ferrying the kids around to various things. My classes don't start until October 1st, so I can get everyone else settled before I get real busy. I need to go have some tea before the Big Brother finale...hope all is well with everyone Katy |
Mindee- Sorry..I forget what questions and for what appointment..Losing it here. Anyway, hope it went the way you wanted it to. :)
Katy- You don't have much time until you start classes...did you get a new notebook and pencils? Haha...the best part about a new school year. :) Glad you feel ready to run...I admire that. Susan- Hope you don't "burn out" from working the extra shifts. You still need time to relax. Actually, I did find a coupdl nice things at the garage sales. DH was looking for tools and found nothing. I wasn't looking, but found an exersaucer and a stroller for Mason. The saucer is just exactlly what I was headed to Target that afternoon to buy and I saved about $35.00. The stroller is one of those little ones that folds up like an umbrella...just to have on hand here in case he comes and needs a walk. They usually bring his big stroller and it is a pain for just a quick stroll. Got it for $2.00. Hope the rest of you gals are feeling better... I watched Mason yesterday and today..he was so cute and cuddly. Dr. tomorrow for the dreaded yearly and yes...paps..ugh. Then to make an appt. for the yearly and dreaded mammo. Hate both, but I will do it. Just need new scripts for my medicines and I will be good for another year. No problems to spout off about this year. *knock wood* Going to ride the bike later as it is really cooler out there. I have to quit thinking of excuses to NOT exercise. |
Well, today has been a busy day to say the least! (okay, so it is now yesterday but it is all good!)
I went in for my first appointment with the sliding fee lady, and got approved for that! So, I can now go to the doctors now, when needed, and only pay a $10 co-pay. So, that is reassuring to me! I had to go back up to the window before I got called back in to talk to that lady because the receptionist didn't realize that I had put two times down for the appointment time.....so I had to go back up there and explain every thing and while I was in the process of filling out the paperwork, I got called in for my appointment with the sliding fee lady. I then went back in for my actual appointment, and was talking with the nurse. They had me do a pregnancy test there in the office, and it came back negative. So, then the residcent came in and we were talking and I explained every thing to her. She then asked me if I would like to get a beta done to get a definite answer, and I said "yes please." Then she asked me if I had/have any other symptoms besides the different period and the nasuea. I said that I had a list of the symptoms and she asked if she could see it....so I showed it to her. She left the room to talk to the midwife. She came back into the room and said that Joanne (the midwife) recommends an ultrasound instead of a beta and if I had any problems with getting an ultrasound done instead. They left the room and then came back about 5 minutes or so later. They got the show on the road and were trying to see what they could see, but since my bladder wasn't that full they really couldn't see much. BUT she did tell me that the lining of my uterus is really thick. (and I am guessing that it shouldn't be since I had the bleeding from September 6th through the 9th) They were looking around and the resident had made a comment about looking to see if they could see what they had used for my tubal. Joanne said that if they used clamps we would be able to see them since they show up on the ultrasound. We looked around, and Joanne said that it looked like she could see one, but again wasn't 100% sure because my bladder wasn't full enough. She then told me that there is a failure rate with a tubal and it is usually the 5 to 7 year mark. And then she asked me how long after I had Marissa had I had the tubal done.....I told her it was a couple hours later and she then said that that makes the failure rate go up higher. then she told me that she wanted to see me back in a week for a recheck and we will go from there. she told me that it didn't look like I was 8 or 9 weeks pregnant, but more like 4 weeks or so. She gave me a specimen cup to collect my first morning pee in and to bring it to the clinic with me for my appointment. She then told me that if I am indeed not pregnant then she will give me a prescription for provera to get the linig to shed and then it should hopefully bring AF back to normal. we came home, Tommy got the house moved around while I got the boys on the bus. I came in and put Marissa down for a nap, and then we ended up taking a nap for about 20 minutes or so waiting for the carpet guy to show up.....it took 5 hours but it is all done now and it looks great! all in all, i feel a little less confused as to what is going on.....but I am comforted knowing that I am in good hands with Joanne. And if I am indeed pregnant, then I would love to continue on with her as a patient of hers. don't get me wrong, I love doctors, but for some reason I feel like I was meant to be a patient of hers for some reson. Sue~ You are not losing it, apparently I am because I had thought that I had mentioned it in here! Katy~ That sounds like me....with the kids driving me crazy! Good luck with your run this coming Sunday! |
Good Morning!
Mindee- You might be pregnant? Did I miss a post? I hope you find out for sure soon, I think that is kind of exciting. I really would love to have another baby, but I am getting too old now. Did you get the carpet laid down?? I love the smell new carpet. Katy - Yay, I didn't know you were running in the Race for the Cure, good for you. How many classes will you be taking? We'll probably never hear from you til Winter break....lol I am excited for you , sounds like a lot of fun stuff going on in your life :) Sue - I SURVIVED swing shift! I need to get a t-shirt and put that on it. haha I hated it, seemed ok the first night but by the third it sucked big time. I didn't even sleep during the day yesterday (my day off), just forced myself to stay up and get back on track. Took Gabster to bed early and slept all night. I loved the umbrella strollers when I was still using them , very easy to throw in the back of the car and just go. When I took Gab to Hawaii I picked up a used one to push Gab around in. Hope the medical appt goes well! :) Francie - HUGS to you! Sassy & Jules - you gals feeling better? Cristina - where are you??? miss you here. I made Gaby mashed potatoes and a cheese hamburger last night for dinner.I had chicken and veggies. Afterward she read and I watched CNN. She was so cute.....she said "you can watch tv and I am going to read in my head so I won't bother you" and she pointed to her head when she said it,,,,lmbo.....so, I said fine and a split second later she turns the first page and says "I like to read fast"......haha. After another few pages she sounds annoyed and says "where's the pictures?!?!" I told her not all books have pictures. Which btw I am reading "The woman next door." I better get ready for work. Yikes, time zooms! |
