Okay..so I know I'm gonna sound crazy. But since I'm going to the Twilight convention in Aug. I'm gonna try to lose some weight before then. So I can get a smaller size dress for the vampire ball. And so maybe I can look a little good when I meet Jackson, LOL!!! Just dont tell my hubby I said that, LOL. I wanna look good for him too. Hehe. I'm just not sure what my goal should be. Any advice??

yeah looks cool. doesn't sound crazy, its good to have a goal to reach towards. Mine is pregnancy. :preg: I would just start moving, add extra steps as you can, cut down on portions, that is what I have been doing. I walk every night at work on my lunch, even if I don't want too. Even if its a small walk, its better than none. ;) Find a picture of a dress you like, print it out, put it on the fridge for inspiration or put one up of Jackson......;)

I know..I've been wanting to go roller skating lately, but the hubby comes home so tired he just wants to lay down. So he wont come out with me. And I dont wanna be outside alone. I should put up a pic for motivation. The dress I want is from Torrid though...lol. Maybe I'll aim for a size 2, instead of the size 3 I normally wear.

Ooh hey girls! I so want in on this thread. I'm a Twilight freak. And I'm on my way to dazzling :) Had a killer workout with my trainer today and am hoping to reach 182 or below tomorrow morning!

That's great you are a Navy wife! I am slowly learning patience and slowly accepting the fact that he and I both answer to the Army first. It's not a bad thing, but different. I can't wait until he's out of Basic and I get to see him within his first few weeks of his schooling for his job! I'll probably see him around July 15th or so. I have lots of working out to do before then and really want a size 8 dress. We'll see if that's feasible ;-)

So like, I've been re-reading New Moon this whole first month DBF has been gone, and it's been an IMMENSE comfort, as cheesy as that sounds. Reading about Bella going through the loss of contact and trying to make it on her own has really really been comforting. I think without being able to fixate on that book I would have been a wreck in the beginning. OH! So excited about the New Moon poster!! It's great :) Although I'm worried about Jacob not being as tall as he should in the movie. But I guess the way they perceive him will make him seem powerful.

Michelle~Being a military gf or wife is a different experience. Yes, the military will always come first, and thats hard to accept sometimes. My dh is on shore duty and working at the Naval Academy..and the midshipmen were graduating this week (today actually)..and it was just really hard for the both of us. We got used to him being home..and forgot what it was like to be on a crazy working schedule, lol. But, my dh is getting out of the Navy next year!!! So after 7 long years, we'll finally be able to be together without the Navy getting in the way of anything, lol. Of course, if he goes into the Coast Guard, then we'll have that there..LOL!!

I read New Moon when dh was on his 2nd deployment in 2007..and I just totally connected with Bella during her lonliness. It hurts when they leave. It like never ever fails to feel that lonliness, lol. Of course, I didnt get all crazy and start hearing my dh's voice in my head whenever I did anything, LOL!! I'm soooooooooooo excited for that movie to come out. I kinda dont like the fact that Jacob has short hair in the poster. I mean ya..he cut his hair..but that wasnt until later on. He still had long hair. I wonder how they'll make him look taller, lol. Which team are you??

I love Twilight, I have read all the books so many times and the movie - love it. I follow Robert and Kristen on Twitter and they have some awesome pics on there. Great way to lose myself for awhile. I really love those books and I couldn't have imagined a better Bella and Edward. I don't like the new poster yet - it looks way too photoshoped -
PS - I saw 'Edward' here in Vancouver and yum yum yum!

Shari~That sucks that the steam room is co-ed. Gross!!! The one at my gym is same sex. Thank God..but there always naked old ladies in there!! LoL!!! Thats funny about your computer..lol!!! And the OPSEC is a military thing. Just rules for us to know. Like, dont give away missions, dates, etc.

I am rereading New Moon too....can't wait for the movie. My favorite book is Breaking Dawn and they signed on for that movie too. They (Kristen and Rob) are just kids and look at the fame...I feel sorry for them. They both do so well in the movie and have wonderful chemistry - great characters to bring the book to life. It's my escape from reality (even though I get teased endlessly about it at work).

Hey my BF is going to be an operating room specialist after his Basic Training and he'll be doing his 19-week AIT at Fort Sam Houston- are you near there? I can't wait to visit him! Although I'm freaking out because we are hearing conflicting reports about how much freedom he'll have there. Some people are telling him he'll only be on lockdown for the first week, then he'll be allowed off-base on weekends, but I'm reading from people that they have no privledges for the first MONTH. I just want to see him so badly. If I have to wait until August or September to visit him I'm going to be so upset!!

Michelle~Wow..that really sucks. You know know anything until he gets there and tells you himself though. I know when my hubby got to A school after boot camp..he wasnt allowed to leave the base during the week or something. And like he only got liberty on the weekends. I couldn't go see him though. It was too expensive. But I hope you get to see your bf!!!!!

I'm hoping he gets liberty on the weekends! He's going to try to have me come down once a month at least. But if he has no liberty on weekends, then I can't see him. I just have to wait and see what happens. Apparently he's at the most "fun" Base in the country, and they are supposedly only required to show up for morning PT. If they miss classes during the day then they can just fail out, just like college. I hope all of that is true, because he's older (28) and responsible, been there done the college thing, and all he wants the freedom for is to pick me up from the airport, take me places, and stay with me in my hotel. I think there are a lot of rules for the young 18-year olds who arrive and totally want to go nuts.

I do agree that the New Moon poster looks kind of Photoshopped, but I'm sure it'll look better once officially out. I really hope Midnight Sun is finished soon! The manuscript on her site is amazing!!

The New Moon poster that is out, is the offical one. Someone already spotted it at a movie theatre!! (I found this out from one of the websites I go to, lol. They had a pic of it and everything, lol)


Not all guys go totally wild. I'm sure the ones with gfs and wives are pretty calm. Although, it is nice to be out of boot camp, so they probably wanna relax a little bit. My hubby was so happy just to be able to call me again, he spent half the time on the phone with me, lol. Then he got a 2 week leave before reporting to the ship. Man...I cant believe all that was like almost 6 years ago!!! Time has flown by fast!!! LoL!!

How are all your Twilighters doing? Are you dazzling today? lol. I am. Or I feel like I am. lol. I dunno what it is, if its because I switched to taking my meds in the morning vs. at night before work or if its due to the fact that my house is almost all unpacked FINALLY and we can FINALLY plan a cook out to invite all of our friends over or if its cuz I have been walking every night on my lunch at work...........or maybe all the above? :shrug: I can just feel the positive energy that I "radiate" and it honestly does "Attract" people to me, so I feel more social. :blah:

I dont feel very dazzling today. I feel frumpy, lol. I need a shower..and I wanna go outside and get some fresh air. But its all ugly outside. Ugh.

Wow, so did you not see your hubby for 5 months?? I know my BF won't go nuts, but I'm afraid he'll have to stick to the overly protective rules. I'm hoping his rank gets him more freedoms, though.

I do not feel dazzling today all because of 2 cups of Blueberry Cobbler coffee. For some reason it totally messed with my blood sugar levels and I was so dizzy during my workout that my trainer was concerned and didn't push me too much. I've never felt that way from coffee before. I'm eating my lunch slowly and recovering from the insuling crash (I think that's what it was).

When my hubby was in boot camp..I didnt see him for..hmm..I gotta think back now, lol. OH, okay, I didnt see him for 3 1/2 months. But we have gone through a 7 month deployment before. That one was the worst!!!

Thats crazy that the coffee did that to you. Maybe it had too much sugar in it or something. Be careful next time!!! Do you pay for your trainer??

I was afraid of the present TOM left, lol. Until you said 1 pound. That sucks though. But its just one.

Tomorrow is payday for us too!! We're hitting the beach (if the weather is nice)
