Wow school starts early for you guys!! For whatever reason I thought it was the same there as here in Canada - anyways here the kids start after Labour Day. You guys have a labour day, don't you?? (or should i say labor day)

Carri - 2 weeks! Not long! Definitely take your bathing suit and wear it with pride, girlie!! I always say I'll never see these people again anyways, even when I go swimming locally, lol.

As for me, just hanging out today, we're going to take the kids to the zoo tomorrow (I'm going with my sister and her daughter). This morning's weigh in was good, I broke into the 2-0's - just barely at 209.8! Hope everybody has a great day today!

Morning ...had to get up early this morning and go and get my annual blood work done for diabetes, didnt sleep well last night due to a fight with my brother that lasted for hours so I am exhausted today and ready to get back in bed. :D

Mel - glad to hear the school day went well ...I would hate to have to get up at 6am every morning ...I dont get up until 7 everyday and even then I hate it, I am a sleep in kind of gal, haha

Liz - Now dont you go getting under 200 while I am on vacation. :nono: We are supposed to do this together, haha ....just kidding, you are doing a great job ...cant wait to get back from vacation and start in my 2nd part of the weight loss

Another thing that bothered me last night is my dog ( westie, terrier ) killed a rabbit in the back yard...and I could hear it squealing as he was doing it, kept hearing it all night in my head...bothered me ...we have an over abundance of them around us and the neighbors hate them, they eat all our flowers so I dont bother planting anymore, so I dont mind them being killed just not like that ...

Sorry you didnt get any sleep last night Carri. We have a few bunnies here but my big problem is a mole has decided to destroy my back yard! :nono:

I have stalled at 215.4 but I'm still down 1.7 within the last 9 days so I guess I should just chill out lol I may go back to once or twice a week weighing instead of every morning bc its driving me insane haha
We went to Logan's open house last night for preschool and he has the same teacher as last year. I saw one of the teacher aids from last year and she said "You look great",I'm assuming she meant the weight loss so that made me feel good! :D And I am kinda getting used to this 6am stuff. :yawn::coffee:

Ewww....early mornings....they have been my reality for the past long while it seems but I miss sleeping in so much!!

Carri - Oh, that would really bother me too if my dog did that. Obviously that's in a westie's nature, but still, poor bunny! Our dog died of cancer a year ago this month, we're still so sad. We're planning on getting another dog in a year or two....so when the kids are a bit older. I am having a hard time being without a dog, but I know it's best for now. LOL about me going under 200 while you're on vacation - we'll see girlie! ;)

Speaking of going under 200, I am getting closer! I lost 4 lbs this week, so down to 208.6! My scale has been kind of wonky so I'm hoping this is accurate, I got this weight 5 times in a row though so I'm taking it. Yesterday was a major workout session with the kids at the zoo, maybe that helped a bit too!

Liz - Yeah we are both so attached to our dog that I dont know what would happen if something happened to him ...we have had him since he was 8 weeks old and he is now 9 ...so we have started worrying now more about it...dh has talked about getting another one just to start training and have when something does happen, but I dont think we need to be in too big of a hurry as our vet said they normally live to around 15 years, knock on wood.

:carrot: on the compliments...I had a friend here at work today tell me my butt looked small in the jeans I have on ...I was super excited...I didnt care that she was checking out my butt just that she said it was smaller :lol:

Yes, I did get alot better sleep last night, but still feel like I need more, gonna be a late night for me tonight since we are going out ...and gonna be a hot one but I will get through ...Hope you guys have a great weekend !!!

Carri - That's nice about your butt comment! haha Actually I had the same thing yesterday, I was changing Jacob and Jamie came up behind me and was like "wow, your butt is looking good!! You're looking bootylicious"...lol :)

Hope everybody has a great weekend, yes it will be very hot here too....hopefully I'll get out with the kids soon so we can hide from the sun in the afternoon, just waiting for Katie to wake up and we can get going. Later today we have my niece's party, so here's my vow: no cupcakes or cake for me!

Well Logan had his first day back to preschool and I teared up after putting him on the bus. The house is so quiet and feels weird with everyone gone...Guess its time to clean and do laundry! After a bad day yesterday and TOM coming soon I don't even want to think about getting on a scale :(

Carri - LOL. I once lost a lot of weight years ago in high school. One day my friend, at the top of her lungs in the cafeteria, goes "OMG WHERE'S YOUR BUTT?" A bunch of people turned around to look at us. I was mortified. LOL. Congrats, though... ;)

Liz - Sorry about your dog, that's so sad! We lost our dog to epilepsy back in June... had to put him down because he had a seizure that didn't stop. Hasn't gotten any easier. I feel ya... :(

Hmm how about me? Well, I'm going to weigh myself a little later today. Ideally, I'd like to be 199 since my mini-goal is onederland, but realistically I'd at least like to see 202 or 3. I was 204 on Friday. *crosses fingers*
