i dunno about the 100 cal..i wonder if some of them arent higher in fat content than others? I also know I cant eat them in moderation so I try hard NOT to have them...just bring those bryers double churned ice cream 100 cal treats in the house and I am done for! hahha

welcome Nicole!

Meme, I have seen purify bit havent really ever looked at it..are you stuck girlie?

MicheleR 05-11-2009 09:03 PM

Lady: I know what you mean about those Breyers cups... love the chocolate fudge brownie. I'm good at not overindulging on them so having them in the house doesn't bother me... That said, if not worried about a mess I would probably lick out the cup!

What does everyone else normally eat for their FE?

Baking some chicken for supper to go with my sweet potatoes.. yummy. Had to have some peanut butter to tide me over since the nap was a little longer than expected... oops :)

Then I think I might have my regular fruit smoothie... or possibly live on the edge and try the mango thats been hanging out in my fridge. Oh, decisions! Then making egg salad for wraps for lunch tomorrow... don't know why I don't make it more often, really love it!

Sorry for babbling, thanks for listening!

Hi again ladies! Thanks for the warm welcome. Happy Belated Mother's day to all you mommies! I have to tell you about the GOOD choice I made this weekend...it was so hard, but I am so proud I didn't cave.......My husband, step daugther and my son wanted to watch a movie on Saturday. So for a snack, they bought a Caramilk frozen cake from the store! ARGH! So....I had a diet root beer with a Smooth Caramel snackers choice bar (so not the same as the cake......but I pretended!!):dizzy: Anyway, it paid off! I weighed in today I am was down 1 and 3/4 pound for a total of 22lbs. Only 8 to go for my goal weight (read my last post - apparently math is not my strong point!). Anyhow...wanted to tell someone, and I know you guys understand about make those tough choices!! Well done on all the other weight losses for everyone, and for those who didnt lose this week........keep the faith....a gain or plateau makes for an even more exciting loss the next time! Yay us!!

Welcome to the other newbies like me!

hello everyone! i dont even remember when the last time i posted on here was, my life has just been a complete disaster latley. about 3 weeks ago my dad got diagnosed with cancer and we have been dealing with that, it has been incredable hard, and i am an emotional eater (dairy queen heals my soul i swear) anyways iv had good days and bad days, but over the past 3 weeks i havent lost a pound wich is discouraging, but its soo hard to focus on this wen live is throwing massive punches at you, and if that wasnt bad enough my dog of the past 16 years died this morning...blahhhh when it rains it pours, anyways im trying, im taking it one day at a time and will get thru it, but i thought it send you guys an update on why iv been MIA...thanks dogs for checkin up on me a few posts back, its nice to know we are looking out for one another, hope everyone else is having a better month than me!! xx

by the way - lee2lee - way to go on the will power....you had way more temptations than I was whining about, and I personally think you made great choices. I would hope your centre recognizes that even if you might go up...you changed your behaviour and made better choices. That is what the girls at my centre say: `Just make good choices, even if you find yourself in a situation where you go over`.....that is something we will all have to do even after we hit goal, so if it is ingrained in you this early, lee2lee, good for you!!

Bride,
I understand some of what you are going through....My uncle is going through chemo now..he lives in ontario and we are pretty close...
the positive thing though, is everyday there are more and more breakthroughs for treatment..and positive thoughts also make a big difference. I will keep you and your family in my prayers and thoughts..

Now, find your seat on the wagon and get back there girl! Because that will help you look better and feel better mentally!! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!

Trabay excellent losses!!!!! You made some good decisions!

This morning i am on vacation ( work tomorrow then off till Tuesday..I love vacation!) I started it off with taking the dogs for a short walk (arthritis hurts a long walk for them) my vitamins including shark for my arthritis *ugh) and a tall glass of cold water! later I will have my peanut butter bar (yes ladies i still love those! hahah) anf head over to my new centre for a weigh in. I really like this new centre! Been there once so far, even though it isnt in the city, a neighboring town, as soon as you enter it you can 'feel" the excitement, the friendliness and the respect! and my new-old counsellor from the other centre went there, so i can still have some familairity! Anyways, I ammoving towards earning another magnet deal thing...and their hours are sooo much better than what the other owner did at the mall location! these guys are open till 7pm monday to friday and on saturday some other hours too! man it is a world of difference!!

I'm sorry if that's they I came accross... I'm kind of hurt by what you said...for someone who's been always chearing everyone and who's lost a lot of weight on this program... I mean... :(

I'm just sad when I see people writing about their frustrations with their centers...about how they push things and stuff... that's what I was mostly talking about. I know the program works cause I'm on it too.

Anyhow, sorry if I made you uncomfortable with my comments.

Chantal0123 05-12-2009 08:17 AM

To everyone

My apologies if I offended any of you with my frustration.

As I've said, I was only SAD to see how some of you were frustrated with your centers...In my personal opinion, it ain't right. FORTUNATELY, I haven't had to deal with this at all...at my center.

Anyhow, I thought that most of you would see this as a way of caring but I guess not since no one but Lady has commented on my posts.

I hope that you will see what I was trying to say here... I'm on the program myself and I like it. But I wouldn't be able to deal with the pushing...

We are going through such emotional stuff (for most of us)...this is a radical change...and we need ALL the support we can get. And I believe that the solution is not always found in a pill... that's my own belief.

So please forgive me if I offended any of you... I feel bad at this time cause I was simply feeling for your frustrations...and I didn't feel it was right.

Being an emotional eater myself, I understand... I've read many books on this subject. May I suggest to you Geneen Roth? She wrote many many books...have them all... It might help you??

Take one day at a time... TRY to recognize your triggers.
One thing that helped me was - I would get to the fridge and stop and say "AM i HUNGRY or Am I trying to fill a void?"...with time, you'll clearly see the difference. Then, it's your choice to move forward or to do something to make you feel good...take a bubble bath, listen to music, dance, read a book, go outside...

Just tryin' to share my own tips!! Take care
We're always here for you!
