I seriously need to get on board with planning. I keep telling myself it's too hard right now, what with the move and all, but really that's not a viable excuse! I have to eat regardless, might as well make good choices!

Sorry I haven't been around 3FC, I'm finding it hard to get back into the support group mentality at the moment. I'll get over it once life settles down again.

I need to get completely back in the groove as well, I feel like I've been coasting and I don't like it.

I got Mindless Eating from the library today. Hubby is reading it now. I'll read it once I finish the other books I am currently reading.

Did you manage to turn it around?

Jaime, do what you got to do. We understand. Can you make some food in bulk? You can freeze the extra. Or get some lean cuisine stuff or similar?

Jo, love the new profile picture :) . Hope you find your mojo soon.

Tomorrow's plan:
Exercise: Run/walk

Food:
oatmeal, apple, coffee with stevia
Faux hot dogs on Ezekiel bread, baked beans
Vegtable Pad Thai

kittycat40 01-29-2009 08:37 PM

hey Jo I was getting ready to ask what you were pointing to and you cropped :)

GirlyGirlSebas 01-29-2009 09:40 PM

Jo - Love the new pic!
Jaime - let us support you this time. We don't expect constant cheer and optimism around here. We're snarky, remember? ;)

Paul ordered a camera for me and.....ta da!..a Body Bugg for himself! :carrot:
I hope this really helps him to stay on-track. He loves gadgets and, honestly, he considers dieting = starving. He doesn't eat enough and can't understand why his weight loss stops. Maybe the numbers will convince him where I have failed.

I measured myself last night. I have the exact same measurements as I had a year ago. This time next year, I will be smaller!

kittycat40 01-29-2009 09:52 PM

Jaimie, part of the support here is give and also get!! I've been thinking about you since your recent post. While I think bad choices and whatnot are acceptable and "self forgivable" right now... Think about how much better and so dagum proud of yourself you will be if you continue to take great care of yourself right now!!!

Vent b**tch moan groan

Do it loud and often

Anjuli, great name, and I did have a pretty dagum OP day!

Mood, improved but my attitude could use some more work..;)

Hopefulpinkangel 01-30-2009 08:10 AM

Jaime-We are here for you good or bad, happy or sad, so if you want to be grumpy be grumpy. Now is the time you need support the most, so we are going to shove that support at you not matter what! ;)

Jo-I love the new pic too!

Well today is the day I give my 2 weeks. The meeting went well last night and even though I have a lot to learn at the new job, I know I can do it. My WW weigh-in is today also so I'm hoping for a loss and no crying this time. LOL

Mrs Snark 01-30-2009 08:38 AM

Bah, it is has been pouring rain here since 5 am, no run this morning, probably delay til tomorrow. We have a cold front coming through, so at least the weather will be cold tomorrow morning.

kittycat40 01-31-2009 06:45 PM

Jo, did you get your run in? My mother is in Miami Beach and said it is cool but lovely.

children playing a board game downstairs. One yelled at another saying "BE A GOOD LOSER!" huh.

zinkemomx2 02-01-2009 08:07 AM

I know I haven't been posting much. I am here and pretty much on plan though. My weight is creeping down. The food has been pretty good. I need to work on my water again. Drink up everyone!

It was nice and cool here, though windy. I got the 11 miles in and actually didn't have to walk very much as I thought I would (I'm babying a knee injury). About every 3 miles I walked for about 2 minutes and that was it. I did have to keep my pace much slower than usual though, but that's ok, I didn't mind.

All systems are go for the half marathon next Sunday, though I'll just be out there to finish versus going for any particular time. I don't want to screw the knee up any more than I have to. After that, I'll be happy to drop the high mileage runs. I don't know about you, but I don't really enjoy the runs over 10 miles very much. After 10 miles it stops being fun for me and just becomes work. Maybe as time goes by that distance will creep up, but for now, I'm happy to keep 10 as an occasional long run and do most runs around 5-8 miles.

You're currently training for a half or a full aren't you?

Fat Chick B Gone 02-01-2009 01:09 PM

Girls, I've sucked *** the past week. If I'm not back by Tuesday please come physically drag me out of my 'oh life is so stressful so I can eat whatever I want and not exercise slump'. Last exam tomorrow (hopefully!).

I am doing a half in May. My original plan was for a full but I have since learned of sooo many injuries d/t overtraining. I'd like to be able to run until forever, so I don't want to jeapardize my bod. Maybe next year maybe not. Repeat half marathoning seems pretty darn good to me ;)

You Go Girl :)
