MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

Mel- your plans for the day sounds devine!! Stollen indeed. mmmmmmmmmmm
Carla- nice to hear from you too. HUGS!!!
Miss Ruthie- you know I am with you in spirit.....and will be into the spirits around 1pm. I will toast you, my dear.

I received several bottles of wine as gifts form clients. Hubby and I had quite the time choosing a bottle for supper last night. Funny. We could have sampled them all, I suppose.
Such a nice morning here so far. Both kids were up in the night and finally both slept with us. It was ...um...cozy. Santa was very clever and my kids were thrilled and gracious. Hubby loved his new red toaster from the kids. He has used it already. It is digital. Very high tech for my stuck in the 70's guy.I have used my new little 4 cup red coffee maker. Just right for me in the mornings. The kids were so excited to give us gifts.

Off to make pancakes!!

Love you Chicks!!!

Isn't it great when you get what you really want.

I already had

Leslie Sansone ( 1995 ) Miracle Mile Walk 1 Mile
Leslie Sansone ( 1998 ) Walk Off Weight 4 Mile
Leslie Sansone (2001) Walk Away The Pounds...
( 1 Mile ) Get Up And Get Started
( 2 Mile ) High Calorie Burn
( 3 Mile ) Super Fat Burning
( 4 Mile ) ( 2003 ) Express
Leslie Sansone ( 2007 ) Advanced Walk 5 Mile

I now have to add to my collection, because of my wonderful hubby

Leslie Sansone ( 2001 ) Walk Away The Pounds For The Abs 3 Mile
Leslie Sansone ( 2001 ) Walk Away The Pounds Heart Healthy Walking 2 Mile
Leslie Sansone ( 2007 ) Walk Away Your Waistline 3 Mile With Waist Belt
Leslie Sansone ( 2007 ) Getting Fit With Faith 2 Mile

I have more than enough to do a different 1 or 2 mile walk everyday.

A couple of them he bought new, some used at the video store. Not all of them came with equipment so he also got me, a set of 1.5 lb hand weights with straps, a set of 2 lb hand weights and some stretchy things. I said, " Do you know what I want for Valentines day?" He started to laugh and said what. I said I want her exercise ball video and an exercise ball. He just smiled and said no problem.

Talk about supportive.

I haven't missed it yet so I have managed to make it here to wish all the chicks a Merry Christmas. It has been a couple of busy days running around with friends and family. We have one more party to go to tomorrow and THEN the relaxing can begin. It has been nice that the DH and I have actually had the chance to hang out together for a period of time in daylight and everything.

Lovely to see everyone checking in. Mel ~ You are too funny! Your plans for the day sound great. Carla~ Hope Motel No Tell is a nice refuge after a day of family drama. Yeah, I was relieved there was no flash freeze either, but we did get caught in this eerie fog that made driving, ahem, interesting. You’re there. That by definition makes you a good relative. Yes, we are going to do an Ontario ChickCon for sure. Holly~ Great that you are having a fun Christmas. Ruth~ Enjoy your family time. Meadow~ Lovely card! Love and best wishes to Ceejay and Nae and Rennie and Patti and Shad who is reclining under a beach umbrella with her offspring and any one else I missed.

My kids and my nephew. The annual "kids" pic. It is the first nice one in years. It was easier when they were babies.LOL!

Me and our very own Queen Mum. My Grandma.

She looked and felt very well yesterday. She turns 98 next month.

The whole motley crew.

Very happy it is a holiday again. Yippee!! Had a big, long sleep. Enjoying a cup of java from my shiny new red coffee maker. Yesterday was very nice. My Grandma was in reasonably good health and spirits. It was fab. My 2 kids and nephew had a great time. Dinner was a lovely prime rib with taters, carrots, brocolli. I made a pumpkin dessert and baked goods. It was all festive and happy. I did up a roast turkey dinner here for us Christmas Eve. Got home around 9pm. Kids played a game for a while then we all went to bed.
I have changed out of my flannel nightie into flannel pants and a tshirt.
Dishes are started. I need to run the DW, do laundry, put away laundry, toss packaging from stuff. Santa brought me new knives ( from Avon no less) that can be sharpened. My wedding gift ones with a serrated edge are terrible. So, I will sort and toss knives too.
Hubby is putting batteries in stuff. World Junior Hockey is on today.

Santa brought the kids the original Operation Game. They have never see it before. We got the batteries into it and Marty and the kids are playing. Flash back 35 years , when I was a kid, I dreamed of having this cool game that had sound effects and a light.........

I am working the next 3 days. DS has a hockey tournament tomorrow and the kids are sleeping over at my folks with my sis and nephew.I will go Friday after work for dinner and a hot tub.
Off Sunday, working New Years Eve, and then going to friends in the village for a party New Years Eve. Pretty much the same gang that was here on Dec 15th. Then I have to work a 1/2 day on the 2nd and then off til the 8th. Yippee!!!

It's all good!

Hope your Christmas was relaxing and joyful!!!!

Looks like you had a wonderful time. How pretty you are, what a great smile you have. Yes, got my kids that game a few years ago. lol a little light bulb. We love playing it. This year was mouse trap. Oh my gosh you should have seen them and the hubby in there fighting over who was going to be which mouse lol. I loved the sounds of the laugher and the yelling. I thought when my sons girlfriend came over the gave would stop. NO she joined right in and beat them all lol.

I get laughed at, this is because I am the ONLY adult in the family. Hubby is as bad as the kids. " Put those darn taz slipper away we are having company, put some darn grown up slippers on. " There he comes down stairs with the company in the living room wearing THOSE DARN TAZ SLIPPERS

Morning all, and yes it is still morning, just.
I've come into work because the DS1 and partner wanted to hit the Sales in the stores and I can't think of a more boring place to be. If I never see another shop it may well be too soon.
We are all rubbing along quite well together. I've had a couple of minutes where I had to bite the tongue but it's been pretty okay. I think my eldest is growing away from the family and I guess it has to be expected. DS2 and I are still close.
Christmas Day we ate and slept mostly. It was the second hottest Christmas day on record for Perth. 42.5 degrees C (108 more or less) and then yesterday was even hotter at 44.2 degress C (110 more or less). Today promises to be cold. It will only reach 33C and we will all be reaching for the winter stuff by Friday when we won't even reach 30C. Think I will organise that white Christmas for next year!!!!
The DS2 has gone to see friends an hour down the road and we will pick him up tonight - or at least I will - the others weren't impressed with the drive down there yesterday in the heat. I can put him on a train and pick him up at the station if I want to, but it will be nice to have him to myself for a while. My accident prone son has done it again. I'm not paying for any more holidays for him - he always hurts himself just before he goes on a plane. This time a work related accident where he damaged a finger with a sledgehammer. Nearly took the top right off and broke the top bone in 3 places. On antibiotics and pain killers, can't drink either but it's not stopping him from doing much.

It's great to hear from so many people at Christmas. Glad to hear that you are all having such a good time. Well maybe except for Carla who is with the delightful stepmama. You better make sure she has a great time when you organise the Ontario chapter of the wordly chicks. I left a message on the machine Carla. You'll no doubt get it when you get home. One of these days, we will actually connect!!! We'll be so excited we won't know what to say! Sheez.

Okay, with that I had better get on with some work. I'll be back as able. I was going to log in on the DS1's partners machine but decided against it when she ensured I wasn't downloading porn! What is it about us that makes people think we are pornographic?

Isn't it amazing how they can hurt them selfs and not make much of it lol. Sure hope he gets well and doesn't have much problems with it. Hubby was getting a shower and I thought I was going to die when I saw this hideous burn on his arm. I was going on and on about it and he said, well darn he had forgotten all about it. Must have done it at work. If I had burnt myself like that I would have been in the hospital wanting around the clock care lol.
