Oh, I don't know. I think it was because I got PMS and stopped walking. Next week I'm going to use my treadmill so I the cold in the morning can't be an excuse for me. I haven't been drinking all my water either.

chin up. you had a great idea by starting this thread. let's put forth some extra effort to stick with our goals.

With the tropical depression (or sub tropical depression? whatever it is now) it looks like I'll have rain until Saturday. (well, according to weather.com anyway). No swimming then....but I need to get some shopping done, so that can count towards my 30 min of walking.

Hi Girls,

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days ... I didn't get any email notifications that you had posted, so there was nothing to prompt me! I've not done too well this week ... it was my birthday and I confess to overinduldging somewhat! Back on track now though and hoping for a good week. Hubby is now back from the UK so I'll be cooking healthier meals ... with both him and my son not being here, there's seemed little point in going to the trouble of cooking decent meals just for me and my daughter ... she usually doesn't want to eat what I cook for myself so I end up doing different things ... very annoying! Now with hubby back I've got someone else to cook for so it makes it more worthwhile And my daughter will just have to eat it or go hungry!

My pool is cold now.

Not sure if the weather will warm it up, but for now I have to change the swimming goal. My new goal is to drink 6 glasses of water a day.

and I *will* walk today. must must must.
will check in with y'all later.

I think that's the first time I've been away from the thread. I haven't been doing well, but am going to redo my goals. I'll be back either tonight or tomorrow morning will full report. Will definitely exercise tomorrow morning ... just want to be sure to say this.

Drank my water, watched the snacking, and walked today. Yay!

Sorry you're feeling bad. Sometimes a heating pad helps me (if it's cramps that are making you feel bad). If you don't have one, they sell them at walmart for less than $20

Drank my water, watched my snacking, and instead of walking for 30 (because of the weather) I put on some music and danced like a fool in my room for 30 (hahaha). According to thedailyplate, I burned more calories dancing than walking the dog anyway.

You know, I need to buy one of those. I had one and packed it away years ago, but couldn't find it. I just didn't buy a new one because I have one ... somewhere. I get my period so bad. I get nauseous, unbelievable cramps, headache. It feels like the early stages of labor pains. Sorry to complain.

I've been reading Bob Greene's lastest book and may change up my goals a bit to coincide with what he suggests once I'm feeling a bit better.

I'm doing well on not eating at night. I haven't done formal exercise this week and won't until I'm all better. Quite honestly, my flow is a bit heavy to do anything. I would be constantly changing if I did. I'm not giving up though.

I've never read Bob Greene's book. What's it about?

I'm about to go walking now, cause there are two tv shows on tonight that I want to watch. Dancing with the stars at 7 and House and 8. Yay!

Drank my water today, although I wasn't very good on snacking.

hmm...Where is everyone?

I'm doing excellent on the water, one more glass and I'll be good for the day.

Snacking also has gone quite well. I went to Sonic w/ my brother (to get him something to drink) and managed to escape without getting ice cream or the cheese sticks (but it was hard)

exercise to be done later on tonight.
