Good Morning . . .
Well . . . we have another sunny day in Atlantic Canada and I guess you'd have to call the temps more or less 'seasonal'. Although a little warmer would be a little nicer.
My day is off to what will probably prove to be an expensive start . . . Turned on the TV in the family room to check the weather . . . picture is fine but no sound . . . downstairs to the rec room, turned on the TV . . . sound is fine but no picture. I mean what are the odds?

Anyway, downstairs is fine now - the cable connection had literally broken off in the little plug-thingee, so I had to dig around to get it out and then bypass the VCR to put the cable directly into the TV; so now I need to get another short cable to reconnect the VCR.
However, I've done everything I can think of to the other one and nothing works, so guess I'll be calling a repair guy (do they even still exist).

Looks like I've got a new TV in my future; this one is about 15 years old and has never given me any trouble before now . . . sort of promised myself I'd get a Flat Panel the next time I needed a replacement; so will start looking around.
Anybody have one -- what is your preference -- Plasma or LCD -- which is better for a very bright room?
Yippee for everybody who had a loss over the weekend and Yippee for everybody else anyway.

Glad to see we are all still dedicated to the journey. Best news I can muster on that front is that I'm back to my ticker weight. At least the 4 pounds of IV-induced WWW have gone away. That's enough to keep me happy for the time being.
Must hop over to Hungry Girl and have a look at the recipes for Fibre One. Did discover that the new stuff is pretty good just as a snack out of the box . . . good thing, because I like the nutritional values in there, too.
Well everybody . . . keep things moving and shaking today. Keep on doing the good stuff just as much as you possibly can and the rewards will follow. Take care now and I'll see you all again really soon . . .
