I'm new to 3FC but not new to SB. A few years ago I lost 35 lbs. and didn't feel like I was dieting at all once I got the basics down pat. I was able to quit smoking very easily (smoked for 40 years), but that along with a very stressful situation, within several months I put it all back plus. I tried to get back onto SB but just couldn't do it.
Last year I did Weight Watchers and lost 26 lbs. but again, another stressful situation and I put back 16 lbs.
A big part of my problem is I am alone (widow) and my only daughter lives 3,000 miles away (I don't fly). So food is my friend, it's always there for me, always. And I do love to eat

So I found lots of comfort with food.
Anyway, I have my condo up for sale and once it sells, me and my cats are driving from NY to Washington State. I would like to look a lot better and feel better about myself. It's bad enough that now I have really thin hair to deal with and wrinkles, so at least losing weight is something I can do to try and look a little better.
