Talking

Hi Ive been at the WW board on and off but have not been doing as well I want to and have become very frustrated. Although I find the program great for people that dont have any problem cutting back on all food groups ,and eating everything in balance, I have come to accept I can not do it.
Its all or nothing when it comes to sugar Im afraid ,and when I start I can easily eat all my points for day on rubbish.
I was getting so down and depressed about it and that once again I was failing where others seemed to be able to succeed.
I finally had a break though 5 days ago and managed to get though a day with NO sugar or refined anything. After that first day its not so hard but I wont say I havnt been hit by some strong cravings.
I know from all my past experiences as long as I dont have that 1st bite I will say on safe ground. So ,so far I have managed to stay strong.
I havnt read this sugar buster book but looks (from all the messages Ive been reading) like what Im doing of sorts.

DEBBIE you are doing a fantastic thing here, so much info and success is apparent!!
I hope Iits OK to join you? I am a New Zealander.

Default WELCOME!

Hi BEE!

Welcome to the SB Boards! Of course you can join us, we'd love to have you-and you can be our INTERNTATIONAL MEMBER, then GUESSWHO will join that dubious distinction when she moves to SWEDEN!

I can totally relate to your WW dilemma. I've been a WW drop out from age 12, more times than I care to remember. Last time, 2 years ago. Tried it each time they made a new version. It works for millions, but I'm one of the exceptions. I stuck to it 100% for 13 weeks, exercised, didn't cheat, and hardly lost. I gained it all back PLUS! Thanks goodness I found SB!!

I will tell you, many gals on the board have had great results doing SB with WW. Using SB rules and WW guidelines for portion control. For many, they don't like having to write down and keep a journal, which is very helpful on this WOE, even though the book doesn't say so-so people use the WW points system to keep track-also, the Richard Simmons program is another one that's good for keeping track.

If you haven't read the SB book yet, please try to get a copy of it. And, we'll be happy to help you out as well, gals on the board are wonderful.

Please try and post on the regular weekly board so all the members can respond to you-we're like a big family, no pun intended!

BTW, I love the JoknAl jams that I get, and they are made in NZ!!!!!

Again, welcome~ Don't hesitate to contact me directly if you need anything!

Debbie

Thanks Debbie

I went and saw the site you recommended to someone on the ""what diet works for you " or what ever it was called forum.
That had lots of info on the plan.

Can I say in the nicest way that Im glad that you "failed " at WW too, lol. It was my 3rd time there.
I lost to start with and then i dont think the leader beieved I was doing the program anymore and I got tired of paying .
I wanted to be at my goal by now but I only lost 10 lb and started in October
In the last 5 days I dropped 2 lb without the sugar and flour.
To start with I felt I had nothing to eat, lol, but I wasnt hungry ,you just have to think and prepare more eh.
ill post this at the new weekly thread too so I get noticed
