Default this sugar detox can be hard...

Wow...

I'm on day 3 of eating no refined starches and eating low to no sugar whole grains instead.

I had some almond butter with 2 crackers w/very low or non-existent sugar per serving earlier this evening and wow... my sugar cravings went through the roof! I did refrain myself from going overboard here and only had an extra teaspoon of almond butter and a couple extra raw nuts, but that was it.

I think for the time being I'll avoid the almond butter and crackers and have another veggie burger and low/non-sugar whole grain tortilla wrap instead (since they're both about the same amount of calories as 2 crackers and almond butter)....

I read it takes a couple of weeks to get off of the sugar cravings here. True? (How many weeks or days did it take other sugar busters followers??)
