Default Everyone Weigh In 04/21/06

Everyone is welcome to join this 3FC's general weigh in thread. Just jump in whenever your official weigh in day rolls around.

Sorry the thread is late this week, my ISP was down Friday morning, and I didn't get home from work till around 12:30 AM Saturday. But better late than never, right? Right.

Me: 193, down 2.5 pounds from last week. Hey, it's nice to be expecting a good week and then actually get it! I'm not seeing much difference in my body from when I ten pounds heavier and stuck around Christmas time, but luckily, there are other signs that things are going well. My fine washables are starting to wear odd, they feel... baggy. I'm going to go shopping for a smaller size of those this weekend.

Morning tealeaf...i was wondering what happened to you!! glad everything is well.

I weighed in at 168!! that is down 2 pounds from last friday!! yay!!!!

and on a side note....everyone at work is always telling me they can see a difference in me but i don't really see it....well, i got a picture back last night that i had taken of myself the night of my date and compared it with a picture of me from july of last year....and i could actually see a difference. so that was a great surprize. (just thought i'd share that tidbit!!)

I am down 1 pound this week. Sorta disapointed in myself for not exercising as much as I should have, I could be down more. But a loss is a loss and I am happy about that. Will buckle down more this week.
One more pound and I will be -45!!!

Oh an NSV -- I was able to mow my yard this week. We have a big yard and it kinda slopes. 2 years ago when we moved in I tried to mow the grass and it almost killed me (ok, it was September, very hot and I was like a month pg but still), I hadn't done it since. I was able to cut the whole thing this week and I didn't pass out. I actually kinda enjoyed it, felt good to accomplish it.

So Mad I only lost .6lbs for this whole week. I am about to start my T.O.M so I am going to blame it on that. So frustrated. After I was so good and didn't eat those dang donuts at work or the cookies. Hopefully I will do better next week.

Congrats you 3 on your loss!!! Prob. mean to say, but I am jealous! Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I wouldn't knock a .6 loss. Any loss at all, really. There have been plenty of weeks when I've had out and out gains. Weight loss for many of us is not a straight road, so don't get too depressed by the little curves!

I did not lose a thing. I did not gain a thing either. (grumble)

Of course here lately I only been losing every other week. ( stop grumbling)

I did my measurements and sarcasticly laughed at it. I lost a 1/2 inch in the neck <--- I found this one to funny. I did not think I would ever actually lose anything in the neck.

I lost 1/2 inch in the thigh... That is good. I do want to lose the thighs.

I got an unexpected visit from T.O.M this morning. GRRRRRRRRR NO WONDER!!!!

*deep breath* I'm at 202.8...AKA 203 since this morning, now that I am forcing myself back into the wagon. For the last month I've been dragging behind on a very thin rope!

That's down about 2 pounds from monday when i kicked myself in the butt. (which was quite the acrobatic feat, I'll have you know! )

Congrats on the losses everyone!

Don't be to hard on yourself if you go a week w/o loosing. I just went 3 weeks with no losses! Which was fustrating because my deficits showed I should have lost 6 pounds in that time!

I did finally loose a pound this week

I weighed in today (Sunday) and I'm down another pound! I went from 155 to 154. I've had a real nice, steady weight loss so far and have yet to step on the scale and see that I'd stayed the same or even gained so I feel very lucky!! <3

I weigh in on Mondays. After a loooooooooong 4 or 5 week plateau I've finally lost. This week I lost 3.2 lbs. Bringing me down to 138. I was in tears when I saw that 138 this morning. I have never in my adult life been 138. Wow, just wow.

Since the move last weekend, I am trying to find a stable place in our crookedy old house (the foundation questionable, and the floor sags or heaves slightly in a few places)

I've settled on the kitchen a couple feet in front of the fridge for now. I'm reading around 194.5 - which WOULD be a gain from my 193 previous - in I weren't bloating from flo trying to come early. I'm waiting to change my ticket until post flo.

I will probably have to wait like 2 weeks for a reasonable / realistic reading - which at least gives me more time to unpack.

Hey Tealeaf- Thanks for the encouragement. You always seem to make me feel better. I'm just an impatient person and want good results every week. As my dad always said, "Wish in one hand and **** in the other and see which one gets full faster." I know it will take time. Thanks again!!!
