A few NSVs for me...

Today while getting ready for work ( it is biz casual Friday) I couldn't find one pair of pants that fit me. I was running around the bedroom like a chicken with her head cut off. Needless to say I was late for work, but it was kinda worth it!

At the gym this evening this super fit girl said she watches me everyday (creepy but thats a whole other story) and that she has seen a huge difference in my body and that she likes that I come in work hard and go home, no bs in between. Felt kinda good coming from her.

that was weird coming from the girl!!! but hey...take a compliment where you can get it!!! that's awesome. and she probably just looks up to you because she sees how dedicated you are to your workout!!! great job on the pants. (I hate that too. all my 16's are loose and baggy on me...but i don't like any of my 14 jeans i have at home....but i'm too poor to go out and buy any more...so i just deal with what i got)

I agree with Susan. So often I think we short change ourselves by getting so distraught by our bumps in the road while at the same time not letting ourselves feel the triumph of the successes. Successes like these are the things that keep us going over the bumps to get us to the next success. Milk it for all it is worth!

Congratulations! There is nothing minor or dorky about it! A victory is a victory, no matter what it looks like! Maybe was a little creepy coming from someone who admits they watch you... but it was a compliment all the same. Keep up the good work!

Congrat's , I'd take it as a compliment. She see's how hard you are working, so be proud of yourself. Yesterday , I saw my sister for the first time since Christmas. She's always rude about my weight. She said "you've gone over-board with this weight loss, you're actually a little too skinny". I just smiled, knowing she's Jealous. I took it as a compliment.
