It's often less then a bra and panties! ha!

I haven't really rewarded myself yet because I just don't feel like I've lost that much weight. Sure, I've actually lost almost 25 lbs which is a lot, but it's all been in my boobs, arms, and upper body, so most of my pants still fit pretty good. Bleh.

When I reach 140, I'll probably do something special if I can, but if not, eh. I'll just be happy to be thin.

Lumi you are terrific:rofl: I can picture you out there now.:beach: My hubby teases me when I work out at home cuz I'll do it in my sports bra and undies! He was REALLY happy he came home early that day;)

My rewards are for reaching exercise goals instead of a number on the scale.
January-Bike shoes, clips and pedals (still haven't purchased these, but have the money set aside, just need to get my bike to the shop.)
February-Bought TurboJam workouts
March-took a certification class to teach TurboKick
April-not sure yet, I'm open to ideas!!!!

For me, five more pounds (25 total) and I'm going to get my hair highlighted when I get my next cut. That should be fun! At 50 pounds I think I'm going to have to have a consignment/thrift store shopping spree. What I have still backed up in the closet should do until then. For 100, hubby and I were talking about saving up to spend a pampered weekend at a hotel (with a hot tub!) and ummm... not leaving the room... at all... ahem...

I have already lost 40 pounds I have not bought anything as reward because I am waiting to reach my goal weight so I have to lose 60 pounds more.
But when I reach my goal weight I will buy a whole new garderobe of hip trendy clothes, I also wanna have a new haircut, my hair is brown but when I reache my goal weight I want black hair. I also wanna have a small tatoo maybe on my back or on one of my arms.

At 20 pounds, I treated myself to all new undies at victoria's secret. 30 pounds was a houseboat trip with my friends. 40 pounds was rock climbing lessons, but I'm late. I haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe next month. 50 pounds was a scuba certification class. I'm late with that one too. Jeez. I'd better get busy :D

Not sure what the next one will be, but I'm thinking that goal will involve a belly button piercing :o , and oodles of new clothes :carrot:

It's fun to hear everyone's ideas for treats!

cheers! :hat:

i dont have any reward system.. all I know is when I hit my goal, or maybe even 5lbs before my goal... Im gonna go strut!! lol Girls night out.. Woooooo hooooo!

I reward myself occasionally with material items, but I find that the real rewards are fitting into clothes I never thought would fit again, and compliments from other people.

One of the best rewards for me has been to see a graphical representation (in a spreadsheet) of my weight loss, and taking measurements and comparing them to "before" measurements. Those concrete numbers are good evidence for me.

Also, I have a feeling that I may need to have surgery to remove skin when I get to my goal weight ... that is going to be where any "reward" money is spent. And if that's not the case, I'm going to get a breast redux.

Well, this is something I have to think about. I haven't lost any lbs yet really. Should I reward myself for every ten or twenty lbs? My ultimate goal is to lose 100 lbs. I don't have any money so I think I'll just reward myself as I go along. BUT I was reading the other thread and some ladies were talking about getting themselves boobs after they reach their goal. I don't want boobs, I'm already a DDD, but I'm thinking of maybe getting a lift. They already sag and I know they will probably be at my knees by the time I'm finally 150 and I'm only 19! So maybe a lift and a lil redux? But I'm kinda scared. Me and needles and anything doctor related do not get along AT ALL!!! It's going to be a while before I reach 150 so I figure I'll just save up for my possible surgery. Can anyone who has had one of these surgeries give me any tips?

Besides the boob job, my other rewards will be cds like the new All American Rejects and dvds like the first season of Rome and Hoodwinked. Also, after maybe 50 lbs, I would like to get a leather jacket....a real one like the bikers have. Black and sexy! I think I'll just look on my Amazon wishlists and pick my rewards from them (except for the jacket and boob job). :)

At 10 lbs lost I got my hair straightened and cut. At 15 lbs lost I got new running shoes. I pretty much had to because my other shoes were hurting my legs badly. So it wasn't really a reward persay. At 20 lbs lost I got an Ipod Shuffle. I only use it when I'm on the treadmill. I'm coming up on 30 lbs lost and have no idea what to reward myself with. Currently we are planning on moving (getting out of the Army) about 2 states away and we want to buy a house (our first) so we really can't afford me buying things for rewards. Maybe my reward will be to pick out colors for the rooms ahead of time or something. I'll think of something.

My reward when I get to goal will be the house. I'm hoping within the next 5-6 months I will be really close to goal if not there already. That would be a great reward! After a year of keeping the weight off, I am going to reward myself with a tummy tuck. I know I'll need it. Then a year after that I am going to get a tattoo on my lower stomach/hip area. I've always wanted one, but with my stomach it's not an option.

Oh and of course I will be buying new clothes along the way and definately at goal.
