I know this thread has been done before, but I always think it's fun to see...sort of like shopping without spending money! Yea, yea, yea, I know that the big reward is a healthy body
I'm trying to come up with a few things to look forward to:
10 lbs an mp3 player to listen to books while I walk (getting close to this one!)
20 - a hair cut some where other then the hair barn lol and some style other then what I have been wearing for 10 years. I may need help fromyou all in deciding how to cut it!
30 -
40 -
50 -
60 -
70 - rubies to replace the sapphires in my engagement ring
hmmm not sure what to get the for rest, maybe you all have some ideas to share
I have 2 pounds to go before I have lost 1 stone (that's 14 pounds). Being an American, it seems a random number for a unit of measurement but hey, I live in England now and I'll take credit for every achievement/reward I can get! Anyway, I've promised my hubby that I'll treat myself (yeah, for myself, isn't he so generous?! ) to some new lingerie. I've been wearing the same nursing bras for 2 years and my daughter weaned herself in December! I haven't wanted to buy new ones because I dread being measured by someone for a proper fit! So, in 2 pounds time, it's off to Debenham's I go for some sexy bras and undies. I'm hoping that'll be by next weekend!
I haven't decided what my next reward will be. Hmmmm...perhaps a full-body massage? That really is a goal to work towards!
180 - I was going to by myself more memory for my computer but I changed my mind and bought myself an iPod Video before I reached any real sort of goal... so my goal for myself is now to just get down to 130 and then I get all new cloths, haha
I am one of those girls that has everything... so if something comes up that I want then I may work it in there. lol
When I lose the next 20-30 lbs I would like to get my hair dyed. I am talking extreme. My hair color is black now and I want Tyra Banks "reddish auburn."
At 200, I am going to cut and color my hair
At 170, I plan on entering/registering a marathon (or maybe a half lol)
At 140, I will book a trip to the Virgin Islands
At 169 I bought new clothes, because I'd lost 10% of my starting weight by then, and my size 14's didn't fit anyways.
That's the only reward I've really thought of, and I've done that... I am going to Mexico for Christmas, which is when I hope to have met my goal weight, so that's a pretty big reward. And I'd like my Scuba lessons to coincide with getting into the 150's, cause it's been a long time since I've been there, and if I have to put on a wetsuit... well, I'd like to drop 10 pounds by then, that's for sure!
I have rewarded myself throughout this weight loss journey with new clothes as needed. Didn't really set a goal each time, just bought new sizes when I could get into them. Always bought them a little snug, knowing that I was going to keep taking the weight off. Still have 13 lbs. to goal and plan to get a new hair cut and hi-lights when I reach this. And more clothes, probably. I used to hate to shop for myself, but I am starting to quite enjoy. Hubby is not at all upset at me for shopping, he likes the way I am taking better care of myself and looking better. Also, would like to have a boob job, but it will be a while , I am saving for this.
I just bought myself some rollerblades on eBay. Hope I can remember how to use them once they get here. It's been a long time, I can just see my first run on them now
let's see...i think at 20 i bought myself a new cd. or maybe it was at 15. i was going to buy myself a new cd after each 10 pounds, but i will really have to rethink this. money is not as free as i would like it to be. maybe i will call 25 a new bathing suit. i really need to get my bathing suit off layaway so i can layout and get a tan. right now, i am planning to lay out in my bra and panties at the house.....good thing i live in the country and no one can see me....but ladies...seriously....a two peice bathing suit is nothing much more than bra and panties....right????!!!!
