Default MY NSVictorieS

When I began this new way of life, I had specific goals I needed to achieve. Well, I am happy to say that some are coming true. No one in my life can I understand why I am so happy about these things but I thought that all of you might "get" why.

1) My resting heart rate has gone from a 76 to a 60
2) My blood sugar readings are within normal range ALL of the time
3) I can do 30 minutes of cardio and feel energized
4) I no longer need the 3 pound dumbbells at all
5) My weekly average caloric intake is ALWAYS where it should be
6) I have only missed one exercise session and I can honestly say it was beyond my control
7) It is actually DIFFICULT now to get my heart into my target heart rate zone when doing cardio...it likes to stay low and goes low the second I slow down
8) I sleep better, have more energy and my mood is much more positive and stable
9) I can see small changes in my body that take me by surprise
10) Oh, and I have lost 22 pounds!!!

Thanks for reading and I hope all of you are having your own NSVictorieS as well!!!!

Oh wow do we ever "get it." It is amazing how many people can't SEE how positive this is! Perhaps some of them actually do get it but are just feeling guilty because THEY are not doing it! That is a great job. Congratulatons.

That is wonderful Christina. Yes, we all definately "get it". I have a lot of support here at work, but i don't even think they totally "get it". i love the energy i have. of course, i want the weight loss too, but i so totally love the energy I have now. I don't get winded when I have to walk somewhere.

That is awesome!! Keep up the great work. You ROCK!!!

Excellent! You've obviously put in a lot of hard work, which we also understand... You're doing great!

I think I feel a community happy dance coming on...

(cue that funky music) (let's boogie!)

Happy Friday!

I'm in the dance too!!! I definetly "get it" as I'm experiencing almost the EXACT same benefits as you. Congratulations on ALL the improvements in your health and weight. I know you must be proud so you get dancing too!!

Doesn’t getting stronger and fitter feel just as rewarding if not more so than the scale moving down? Great job, keep it up
