Exercise NSV
Wow - I got the okay from my physiotherapist to start running again this weekend (I've been off exercise for three weeks - boo!) so I went to the gym this morning.... I don't know what happened over the last little while, but a month ago I could do intervals of powerwalking at 3.5 mph for 3 minutes, jogging at 4.5 mph for 2 minutes, and that literally left me gasping after 25 minutes. Today I was running 8 minute stretches at 5 mph and kicking it up to 6 mph every couple minutes, and I only needed a minute of powerwalking in between to recuperate!!! It has seriously been my dream for years to not only be good at running but to enjoy it, and I had SUCH a good workout today - and that was after 30 minutes on the stairmaster. I can't wait to go for another run tomorrow!:running:
