I got a compliment!

  • My father-in-law just stopped by to check on us and said, "you've lost quite a bit of weight haven't you?" I hadn't seen him for about 3 weeks and according to the scale I really haven't lost anymore weight, but the tape measure tells a different story. I've been having a rough past couple of days so his comment definitely made me feel better.
  • I know how awesome that had to make you feel. What makes it even more better, is that a man noticed! LOL Way to go!
  • I never thought of it that way ( a man noticing), but that is so true! I've had my husband not even notice that I've gotten a haircut before and we're talking over 4 inches chopped. Men!!
  • Congrats, Beatlesfan! It's nice to get compliments from people who see you working hard day to day, but sometimes it seems like (at least my friends, anyway ) they are complimenting you because they see how hard you're working, and maybe they didn't notice much difference, actually.

BUT, when you see someone that you haven't seen in a while, and THEY notice, you KNOW it must be truly showing! YAY for you! I know you must be on cloud 9 over it! All your hard work is paying off! Congrats! And keep up the good work!
  • Congrats!! Keep up the good work!
  • Great job! I'm sure those compliments will keep flooding in. You are doing a terrific!
  • how cool is that...what an awesome feeling!! congrats. i know you have worked hard to get to that 20 pound loss. good job!!! enjoy the moment!!!
  • Yay good for you BeatlesFan... makes the hard work all worth it, doesn't it? It is great when others notice and we know it it is working!
  • congratulations, sometimes the scale isn't the only thing that makes us feel better. I had an old friend tell me the other day that she didn't recognize me when she first saw me. That made me feel great.
  • Awesome
Weigh to go Beatles Fan! I'm very proud of you and your efforts.
