i can't believe this - another photo of myself that I like (that's 2 in the last week!) - wierd feeling after 4 years of hiding from cameras! (I actually travelled around Southeast Asia for 2 months a couple years ago and came back with over 300 photos - i was in 2 of them!). This means no more hiding behind my mom at family get-togethers, or offering to be the picture taker on nights out so that I don't end up in any of them! I think I like it because there's no evidence of a double chin... What a great feeling!

You look great! And I completely understand how you're feeling. Recently I've noticed that I've had a couple of pictures of myself that I haven't hated. It is a strange sensation to view a photo of myself with something other than disgust! Keep up the great work!

I am like you. For years now I have done everything possible to avoid the camera. This weekend was a little different. My husband and i went to a wedding on Friday night and I had my sister in law take a photo of me so that I could have a picture at my current weight and then I will take one at the end on the year hopefully at my goal weight. She printed the pictures and came over and showed me on Saturday. It was actually a picture that I didn't cringe over. It's been a really long time since thats happened.
Feels good doesn't it.
