Success Friday!!

  • Yep Yep! Today is my Official weigh in day for the week and I have lost
    2 more pounds!!!

    I have kept my New Year Resolution a going so far!!!

    14 pounds lost since I got started!

    I still got a quite ways to go!

    I got to say!!!!

    I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it, I'm about to lose control
    And I think I like it.

  • that is sooo awesome!! Congrats. i sure wish i had your success methods. i have only lost 7 pounds since the 10th of january. i would need to lose 3 more by the 10th of march to call it 5 pounds a month. and at my rate, i aint' doing it. i am the same as i was last week.

    I know when I got started in Jan. I had lost 9 LBs I was very excited for the month.

    Feb I had only lost 3 lbs for the month. I was a little bum because my goal was to lose 2lb a week but to make this a more up side and insted of relying on the numbers on the scale to keep me happy, I had also started to measure myself. I had told my self I was going to meassure myself monthly like every 13th day of the month but I had cheated on that thought because two weeks after the 13th of Feb, there was a week I didn't loose 2lb, so I pulled out the tape measure and found out I had lost an inch in the waist, hip and thigh( darn no inch in the chest) but hey I lost it some where. So I took that as a plus in place of the suposely 5lb more I wanted to lose to make it 8lb lost for Feb.

    Jan 9lb Feb 3lb and the starting of march 2lb.


    It doesn't sound like you are doing to bad. March 10th isn't here yet. You may lose 2lbs by then but that wouldn't be bad either. Hang in there you can do it.

    My method is just calorie counting, I use FitdayPC to keep up, all my counting and percentage of Fat, carbs, and protein that I am taking in, I use a scale to weigh my food so I can learn portion control. I am amaze how in the last couple years I have been out of control with my portions.

    I use the eat 6 times a day method 3 meals 3 snacks. in MHO I think this route helps me from being an emotional eater where eventually I'll start binging.

    LOL, it's ok, first thing that popped into my head when I saw maegdaeien's post "Finally" was Cece Peniston's song. lol "Finally it has happened to me Right in front of my face My feelin's can't describe it" Now I can't stop humming it.
