Talking Msg. for Kymber

Congrats on your loss! Such an inspiration to me and others!!
I am new here...I have read your posts and its good to see you succeeded w/out conting everything...I get so frustrated trying to keep up w/ carbs/ protein/fat/calories etc..w/ percentages..you know the drill..I hate that. My plan is to just eat healthier at first and incorporate more fruits and veggies and water while exercising.

could you just post a couple days meals for us? What your eating plan looked like? Breakfast is my biggest problem...

thanks and congrats again
Trish

Hi Trish....

Jeez that's kind of hard... I will try to remember.....

Breakfast: bowl of cereal (Special K or something like that) with skim milk

Snack: Fruit

Lunch: ham or turkey sandwich with lowfat mayo or mustard, carrot or celery sticks (I toasted the bread so that I would not want chips), fruit

Snack: Yogurt

Dinner: could be one chicken sausage with stewed tomatoes and veggies and potato OR boca burger with veggies

You don't NEED to follow any plan. You need to just start out with portion control and limiting what I call food that is not that good for you (because you really should have NO 'bad' foods). I stopped using sugar in my coffee. I stopped eating white bread (except french loaf.. oh yum). I ate more veggies and fruits. I cut down my portions. I drank a gallon of water a day. I WORKED OUT!!!!

You can do it..... just be sure to get off the couch and moving!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK

Kymber

Default Kymber, I hope that this is not too personal a question~~~

but do you or did you have an eating disorder while you were losing the weight? I'm confused because I thought that somewhere I read that you said you had an eating disorder but then you attribute your success to exercise. Please clarify, if you don't mind.

Not too personal at all!!!

I didn't realize that I had an eating disorder until January of 2000, with only 10 lbs. to go. So, yes, I had the eating disorder since I was I believe around 8 years old when it started.... but I didn't realize it until that time. I'm not sure how much that would have made a difference...... I wish I knew!!!!
