Default Weigh in & measure in for 2/03/06

I hope this is the right place to put this and I hope no one minds me starting it for this week.

Okay, so I have lost 2 pounds this week and a total of 5 pounds since starting back dieting and excersizing.

For my measure in... I didn't take measurements starting in January. But when i did take them back in september I was weighing in at 188.

Since then, I have lost a total of at least 9 inches. One in each arm, 2 in the bust and from the two waist points. One i call the upper belly. this is the place where my body curves in and the belly that hungs out over my pants if they are two tight. then there is the actual waist where your pants fasten together. I lost 2 inches there. and the lower belly, is actually where i beleive you measure your hips. I think i lost like half an inche there.

So, i am pretty happy

Arms: one inch each (two)
Chest: two inches
Upper Waist: two inch
Actual waist: two inches
Hips: One inch

Total of 9 inches.

Angry (EWWW!) My ticker is stuck!

Well, lumifan, there was the other thread further down, but it really doesn't matter!

Now for the bad news. I'm still 192. My stomach and my waist have gone up a few quarters of an inch. But every other measurement is still the same:
Thigh=28"
Arm=12.5"
Hips=46"
(Stomach=39!)(belly button area)
(Waist=32 1/4)(smallest area)

So I'm blaming my stuck ticker and my stomach getting bigger on gas or bloating! Hey, that would explain only my stomach going up, plus it'll make me feel better! Maybe next week. I'm disappointed and slightly discouraged, but then, I'm just starting to get back into my exercise, so I didn't really expect a miracle. Next week, my weight goal is 190.5 and my goal measurements are, maybe lose about 1.5 inches. Wish me luck!

Wow Mia, we are almost the same measurements. just off an inch or so here and there. same belly size, but your arms are a little smaller than mine. but my thighs are a little smaller than yours.

keep with it. i thought i was not going to make it back down to 181 by weigh in time. whew!! i just made it this morning. I was at 181 about 2 weeks ago, and then my weight fluctuated back up two pounds and stuck there for 2 weeks. when i saw 181 this morning, i didn't dare step back on the scale for fear of it changing on me.

I'm going to try and be good and not get on the scale every day...but i always do.

Me: 201.5, up half a pound from last week. Disapointing, but still not the two pound weekly gains I was seeing during the holiday season. And I know that I didn't stick with my diet and exercise the way I should have this week. This is a small set back, but not a disaster.

I normally start the Friday weigh in thead, but it doesn't bother me if someone does it instead. The only problem might be if I don't see the one that someone else started, and start my usual, then will have two competing ones. Which isn't the end of the world. But if people want me start my usual thread regardless of who else starts one, then I'll do that too. So everyone, any opinions on this?

I'm a little confused -- I'm used to the usual weigh-in thread, and don't really want to measure every week, wondering if we should just have two threads? One of people who weigh only, and one for people who weigh/measure? I don't know.

Up two pounds this week, it's been a stress week.

Well, I think if people don't want to measure and just want to weigh, then maybe go to the just weigh-in thread. I think there's still one out there! But if it's hard to find then just post here, but only post your weight. Everyone can post how they want to, but let's not get the thread lost in the sea of forgotten threads !

Let's try to keep this thread active and on the front page so we don't get side-tracked. You know-"out of sight, out of mind"

I agree Mia, we should be buddies since we are so close in weight, height and size.

hey what do you eat for breakfast and lunch alot?? I eat alot of Eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast and at lunch i have been eating the Lean Crusine Pizzas and Panini's. but i am thinking about just having some homemade chicken breast next week. maybe cooked in some lemon and vinegar juice.

I'm confused! But, I just started measuring myself today, so I don't have any results to post yet anyway. But I wanted to check in anyway to make my presence known. Hopefully I'll have some good news next Friday!

Talking To Lumifan

Lumi, I eat 1/2 cup egg whites with 1 slice of wheat bread= 105 cal (sara lee delightful bread=45cal)

I eat oatmeal, it is about 120 cal for a cup

Grits, it is also 120-145 cal for a cup
Boiled egg, about 79 cals.
Lunch is usually some kind of lean frozen entree. Usually 180-290 cals.
Or lean pockets, usually 220-290.

Chicken breast is great! I love baking it with garlic salt and parsley.Or try baking it with madarin oranges. Yum!
