Default I feel so strong!

I did 16 pushups in my workout today up on my toes!!!
2 months ago I could do 8 on my knees, but my wrists would ask me to stop. I am just so pround of myself today!

You go girl! I still have to do them on my knees but I can't wait until I have a story like yours to tell.

Default How did you work up to them?

I am trying to get those pushups in too! I am training for the military. So far, I can do them off of 3rd stair from the bottom of my stair case, I can do a few off my knees too, but as you pointed out, it really hurts the wrists! I am weight training upper body 3-4 (if I can squeeze it in) times a week with a variety of upper body exercises. I am interval training on the treadmill too to try and lose some more body weight. Currently 183lbs.... looking to be where you are now, around 150. Maybe then, when I don't weigh as much, the pushups will begin to come!!! Any advice on how you worked up to them?????
Congratulations on a terrific FEAT!!! I know how hard it is!!!! You've definitely gained alot of strength.

Push ups on a swissball/fitball are fun! I really enjoy those in a twisted sort of way, and you can make it harder by which part of your body is on the ball, now I just have my calves on the ball, and am working towards tippy toes.
