2 months ago when I really got serious about shaping up and losing weight, I was down ot 1 pair of pants that still fit me, a pair of size 12's. Last week, I put them on, buttoned and zipped them...just to see how much looser they were, I tried to pull them down a little...they slipped off over my hips! I am going through all my clothes now to see what else I can wear now! YIPPEE!!!
Woohoo! I loved the days when I was "shopping the back of my closet" as my friend put it. It's so great to be able to get back into things you'd grown out of.
Good for you racegirl78! I only have one pair of jeans left to fit into then I'm out of clothes in my closet. I loved going though clothes though and fitting into ones that I haven't worn in years.
I moved from Australia 4 years ago (I was at my fattest then) and had given up on losing weight so got rid of all my thinner clothes, and now I would fit into them LOL!
I gave all my old thin clothes away to charity shops (thrift stores) years ago but now have had the satisfaction of giving all my fat clothes away.
I have been buying UK size 14 (US 10) for a while now, but once or twice got it home only to find it was still too big for me - so yesterday I bought some size 12 things (US 8) - and they fit!
The only thin clothes I kept was some underwear and I've been wearing that again for a couple of months, now! It's getting expensive though, as I'll soon have to rebuy all the things I bought in the past couple of months as they start to swim on me!
