Alright. so, I know I probably don't need to start a whole new thread but I NEVER get NSV's. So, this is a special occasion. ok
1.) I went into the salon today to get my hair cut and colored. Whenever I go into a salon I just let the stylist go at it. I figure they're professionals and they wouldn't just maliciously make me look bad. But...even though I'm so open about style they kinda just end up doing the same thing over and over again, which is to put as much volume as possible in my thin hair. but TODAY it was totally different. The stylist actually texturized it and made it thinner on the ends and used a STRAIGHTENING IRON. which is a first for my cause my hair is super fine and naturally stick straight. ANYWAY, point is.....I was dissapointed at first until I realized that I didn't need all that big volume to make up for my BIG FAT FACE anymore! I could actually have a cute angled cut because my face is getting more CUTE AND ANGLED!
2.) My sister and I went to Yuen Lui to get our pictures taken, since it's been probably 10 years since we've had actual professional pictures taken of us. Anyway, I was dreading seeing the sample pictures because I hate all pictures of me (and my sister is a size 2), but, shocker, I actually look cute is some of them! I'm actually excited to order these pictures and show them to people. wow!
3.) Then I went to church tonight for a week-long conference we're having. I'm back for break so alot of people haven't seen me in 6-12 months. I approached one girl I used to have Bible study with when I was still living in WA. I hadn't seen her since I was at my heaviest, 248, at winter break last year. She's a really sweet int'l student from Taiwan and she was like "I didn't recognize you at all! You went....like this" *makes hand motions sweeping down her sides* hahaha. I was like "yeah, I definitely went like this!"
HOORAY FOR THIS DAY!!! Now, if only I was eating better and felt like I really deserved all these NSV's. Oh well, tomorrow's a new day right?
