OUT OF THE 200s!!

  • I started here about two weeks ago and just by cutting out bad foods and eating less and exercising a little bit more, I'm now out of the 200s. I know I started at 203.5 so I only lost 4 pounds but this was my first goal and I have made it.

    Anyone else near this??!!
  • Good for you Kidguy! Hey, 4 lbs is a good loss no matter what! You can do this. I still have another 50 to go, and have lost 85 lbs so far. I know I can do this and so will you. Keep up the good work! ......Sis
  • GREAT JOB!! KIDGUY,
It is a good feeling to see that first number as a "1" isn't it. I just broke that barrier myself. I started at 220 and am now at 196. I set my goals 10 lbs at a time so they do not overwhelm me. Congradulations on a great job, and happy losing.
  • Wonderful, isn't it!
Congratulations, KidGuy. Finally experienced this for myself about a month ago. I think the last time my weight started with a '1' instead of a '2' or '3' was over 20 yrs ago. Getting out of the 300's to the 200's was the first goal. And now finally into the 100's. Keep up the good work! My stats are:

    315/191.5/160
  • WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!
    Congratz Kidguy on your success!

Just this very morning I weighed in at 198 pounds! I am finally in ONE-derland!!!!! And boy does it feel ONE-derful!!!!!!!!!! I began in March at 220 pounds and next summer I hope to be at goal!

    Yippeeeee!!!!!!

  • good for you,
I started at 240 and am now 195. Low carb. and lots and lots of water in what I am doing to lose.
I wore a size 22 and just bought a size 16 pair of pants this week. Keep going we can do it.

  • Way to go. Seeing some results makes it all worth it. Good eating habits after awhile just become routine. It' still a struggle for me at times, but I stop in here every once in awhile and it helps. I posted here in the success section for the first time in awhile. Continued good luck and GO BROWNS. • WOO-HOO!!!!
Way to go. I'm really looking forward to that myself but I can't seem to get there. I've been stuck at 204 for the last 3 weeks. I need to pump up the exercise but at least I'm not going backwards. I think I'll buy myself a new leather coat when I get to 190. Got any rewards for youself? I really think for every goal you hit, it should be rewarded with something (not food!!!) I tried to talk my husband into giving my $100.00 for every 10 lbs. I lost, he didn't go for it.

  • One-derland...I love it! I just got into the 100s this week down 20 pounds from 219 in 7 weeks. To Tooplump: I give myself rewards every 10 pounds - sexy shoes, pedometer, running shoes, running clothes, and finally: a trip to the Bahamas (and if my husband doesn't go for THAT I'll go with somebody else!) .

I see a lot of women's goals are to get to a size 8. But are sizes really accurate? Some size 8s are huge and others are small. Thanks to the darn clothing companies who want to coddle us into thinking we're smaller than we really are so we subconsciously buy their brands.

I really don't know what my goal weight should be either. I'm a bodybuilder / jujutsu teacher and heavier than normal people anyway. I guess I should go by bioelectric impedance fat % huh? Otherwise I'd say a size 10! Let's keep up this One-derful trend guys!

  • CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
Congrats to ALL of you in ONE derland! (I love that!) I've got 14 pounds to go until I join you, but it's SOOOO great to read about your successes! It motivates me to keep going! I started out at 233 1-2, and I'm down to 213. That's four weeks at LA Weight Loss! I hope I can join you all soon!!!!
