Default 60 pounds lost forever!

I can't believe it - I've lost 60 lbs! When I started this journey exactly 10 months ago, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to lose even 5 lbs. Now - even with 40 pounds still to go - I know I can make it. My ideal goal is to be 165 lbs. by 7/22/06 (my 25th birthday). That means I'm aiming to lose 40 lbs. in 9 months (which shouldn't be so bad - since I just lost 60 lbs. in 10 months).

I know I'm rambling - but I'm just ecstatic!

No fad diets - no food restrictions - just trying to eat sensibly and get some level of exercise (and enough sleep) and the weight is slowly melting off!

Somebody pinch me! And that was another bonus - my DF (dear fiance) tried to pinch my bottom this morning to get me up out of bed - and he couldn't find a spot loose enough to pinch on the lower half of my bottom! He eventually managed - but I was laughing so hard I was already up anyway.

Yay me

Wow! That's fantastic! You must be so happy!

I think it's great that you are losing slow but sure - imo it's the best way and more likely to stay off.

Wishing you good luck to lose the next 40 lbs - you can do it.!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift - that why they call it the present!

Fantastic!!! It really is an inspiration -- I want to be able to post about my losses one day and seeing others do it makes me believe I can too! Good luck, and let us know when you lose 100 and get to goal!

Thanks everyone! I'm still hoping to continue losing during the holiday season - if I can get past that will be a start. It's gonna take some work to change the sugarplums that want to dance in my head into . Although - have you every TASTED a sugarplum? My dad got some victorian ones from a ritzy store - they were the WORST THING EVER! So maybe it won't be that hard

Actually - I DID gain a butt! Before losing weight I had this giant thing that kind of came out of the middle of my back and disappeared back into the lower half of my thighs . It was big and wide and lumpy - kind of like having a hipo following me everywhere!

But in the last couple of months - and the last few weeks in particular - this has morphed into an early J-Lo booty ! Now that I lost the back thigh fat, it actually starts and ends where it should - it's perky and nicely shaped - and although I'm still somewhat heavy it's definately getting toned !

I'd say I'm about halfway to having an onion a** - the kind that makes men cry when they see it (nice quote I borrowed from Zane).

When I finally post my progress pics (I've taken at least one for almost every month) you should finally see the difference. I'll make that my goal for the weekend.
