So happy to hear from you, obsessed! Thanks for reading my post. I was hoping I didn't sound too mean, but all the "congratulations" got to me (and still do. People keep posting it!). I'm trying to lose weight, and constantly pulling myself away from "just stop eating and you'll lose weight" or "just exercise all day long, that's the trick". But I know that I can't do that forever, and where will I be after I lost all the weight? I have to find something I can do forever and not be harming myself in the process.

I love your new motto: "to live healthily, not to live to lose weight and look skinny." Sometimes we get all screwed in the head and diet for all the wrong reasons (to fit into "that" dress, to look good at a reunion, to hear people comment on how good you look), and lose focus on what's more important- our body's health and wellness. Appearance is only skin deep and is sooo superficial. To look good to please everyone else just isn't worth my life.
